I'm really happy that I decided to go with Dresher and Cohen to get my teeth cleaned, and if you live in Midtown or the surrounding areas then you should consider them, too. Things to know: ***** MAKING AN APPOINTMENT: Pretty easy. Just call, provide your dental insurance information, and let them know what days and times work best for you. PARKING: The hardest part about getting to Dresher and Cohen are the very high parking rates, in the area. They do validate for a few lots, but call beforehand to find out which ones. LOCATION: It's located in Colony Square where the Starbucks is located. Enter the building and take the elevator to the 15th floor. Take a left at the hallway on the left. They're located at the end of the hallway on the left. SERVICE: Shoutout to Viet sista and hygienist, Vi, for cleaning my teeth. She did an excellent job picking, flossing, and polishing. And even though I can take quite a bit of pain when getting my teeth cleaned, I never felt uncomfortable. Ooh, and with the polishing, you can pick what flavor you want, too. (They have orange, mint, cherry, and others.) Vi also provides great restaurant recommendations. ;) After my cleaning, I then saw Dr. Simian, and he looked at my x-rays to see the strength of my teeth. (Glad to say that they were in great shape!) When I checked out, the receptionist gave me a gift bag since it was my first visit. =) OVERALL: I had such a great experience at Dresher and Cohen, and I'm looking forward to my next visit.

    Lovely office and wait room.

I've gone to this dentist for years. Their entire staff is extremely friendly, I'm never kept waiting, and they do a fantastic job.

I'm sharing this review with the hope that it brings more transparency and training to this…read morepractice's approach and serves as a heads-up to first-time patients. During my first visit, I expected a routine cleaning, as is standard at most dental offices. Instead, I paid around $100 for x-rays and a session where the dentist briefly brushed and flossed my teeth, demonstrated a new flossing technique focused on gum health, and measured gum pocket depth. I was then told to follow this routine at home and return in six weeks to assess any changes--no cleaning was performed at that first visit. At the follow-up appointment, I was seen by a different dental hygienist whose overly cheerful and rehearsed demeanor felt disingenuous. While she wasn't overtly rude, the interaction felt hollow and uncomfortable, which added to my unease. During the cleaning, she made a snide comment about my dental habits and then completed the rest of the procedure without much communication. I also noticed an unpleasant personal odor, which was surprising and concerning given the setting. Hygiene and professionalism are especially important in a dental care environment, and this contributed to a sense that standards were not being met. Unfortunately, during this visit, I believe the hygienist injured my gums multiple times due to a careless approach in handling sharp instruments. One area in particular has remained inflamed and possibly infected ever since. There was no review or inspection with the dentist afterward, which I had expected based on past experiences at other dental offices. As I was walked to the checkout counter, the hygienist casually mentioned that I "might need antibiotics" in six months if the issue with my gums didn't resolve -- an issue I am not sure I had walking in to this appointment. I never saw the dentist again during that visit, and no additional guidance or follow-up was provided beyond the flossing and brushing routine recommended weeks earlier. This entire experience left me shaken and disappointed. I have no history of gum issues or needing oral antibiotics, and this visit left me worse off than when I arrived. I haven't felt comfortable speaking up, but I'm sharing this because no one should leave a dental visit with lingering pain or uncertainty about the care they received. I genuinely hope this office takes the opportunity to improve how it communicates services upfront and invests in better training for staff--especially when it comes to patient care, professionalism, and technique. Patients deserve clear communication and quality care that prioritizes their well-being and comfort.

I researched and really liked the "feel" of Atlanta Dental Spa. Their "No Judgement" attitude is what I liked the most. I walked in the front door (BIG step) and Tiara took such great care of me. She is so sweet!! After x-rays and scans, I met with Dr. Gandhi who was very understanding of my fear. He was gentle and explained everything that needed to be done and what those options were. It was scary looking at all that was needed, but they offer sedation dentistry and that's what I did. After a good couple of hours of being "consciously knocked out", Dr. Gandhi, Whitney and Britney got the work done! I left being able to smile showing my teeth for the first time in years! But more so, correcting the things that could affect the rest of my health. After I got home I did NOT have ANY pain which is saying a lot as I had a ton of work done. They said that days 3-4 might be the worst for pain, but there was NONE. And that's taking nothing but ibuprofen. The advancement of dentistry is amazing. More than that, finding a dental office that treats you like family, sees you at your scheduled time, offers you neck warmers, blankets, headphones with your choice of music...but most of all truly cares about your patient experience. I'll keep my mouth healthy at Atlanta Dental Spa-Highlands and Dr. Gandhi is my dental guy going forward! (Also thanks to Tiffany who helped answer my financial questions!)
