As the third largest city in the Metroplex, Arlington is quickly coming in to its own with plenty of development, renewal, activity in the sports district and museums. Many people refer to the North Texas megalopolis as DFW, but after my recent visits it might be more accurate to call it DFWA. Arlington certainly adds a lot to the equation in population and Viridian is a very pleasing component of its growing vitality.

The salesman really upsold "one of the best warranties" offered in the industry. Over the next traumatizing, devastating, and demoralizing year, I discovered what a scandal said "warranty" represented. It was a calculated concept that created a maliciously fake sense of security to prospective homeowners; it was a misleading promise that the builder stood behind the quality, craftsmanship, safety, and reliability of its homes. Of course the actual tactics and scheme of the inner workings behind the "warranty" would never be disclosed; the lucrative and highly profitable profits through lies, manipulation, fraud and corruption wouldn't sell houses nor continue to line the fat pockets of the "board members" or owners. The first plumbing emergency occurred on Super Bowl Sunday; I called the contractor as instructed at closing. Both toilets on the verge of overflowing and sewage shooting up through the shower drain. Nobody showed while im peeing in the backyard like a wild animal for 2 days. 8 more plumbing emergencies-almost on a weekly basis. February wasn't too cold last year, but the 2 days the temps were super cold, I felt the brutal winds coming through the OUTLETS!! WHO passed this inspection? The insulation stopped about 3/4 down the entryway and beginning of living room. Therefore, the window and adjacent wall wasn't protecting us from the elements. A week later, I notice the master bedroom and closet carpet damp, leaking AC registers and humidity levels at 55-70% . Leak wasn't aggressively explored rather every excuse and lie to convince me nothing was wrong. 2 outside plumbing companies saying there was definitely serious issues requiring expensive tests which the builder complicit ignored. The combination of excessive high humidity, HVAC not working properly, and consistent wet carpet bred mold, mildew, bacteria...I have been constantly sick (and my dog) since moving in. Chronic sinus infections, horrible skin infections, worsening symptoms of brain tumor. I finally pulled the carpet and padding rotten with pathogens. Then the source of the leak wasn't found- a breach in the brick wall- further exposing us to the elements and serving as point of entry to the pests causing continued infestation. I could go on but I believe the pics speak for themselves. DR HORTON has zero regard to the destruction they've inflicted upon a 100% disabled veteran. No morals or work ethics, master manipulators, deceit, incompetence and zero accountability is what you can expect. I have notebooks full of emails to support all of this that I'm happy to share.

I started using Trend for small jobs and as our needs for small repairs became so large, they suggested a floor plan to maximize the space in our home and to update/upgrade since my husband has MS and was having difficulty getting around. We had narrow doors and a galley kitchen. After a long deliberation and much persistence from Trend, we agreed to a total redo of our first floor of the house. I don't even remember what the house looked like before but am in love with our new open home. My husband has no issues.
