On May 2, 2026, the mirror fell off of the dresser. Luckily, my daughter wasn't home. It didn't break the mirror because the corner of the mirror landed on her bed. She called me immediately when she got home, and I told her to leave the room because we didn't know if the mirror was shattered. I called Unique and sent them pictures. Almost 6 hours later, they sent me a text saying they would not cover it. I called them and talked to Sue, the owner. I expressed how upset I was about this set being less than 5 months old and the mirror falling off. She said mirrors don't just fall off of a dresser, and this has never happened in the 43 years she has been in business. I told her we were lucky the mirror didn't fall on my daughter while she was in front of it. Sue said she would send someone out the next week to look at it & see what they could do. No one ever called us back since then. Today is 2 weeks after that call. My husband fixed it today and put extra screws in it. I hope the bed is screwed together better than the mirror and dresser. WE WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM UNIQUE AGAIN!!!!

My daughter-in-law and I found this little gem with the help of yelp and I HAD to come on here and write about it. Both of us normally dread the formal dress shopping experience. This is, by far, the best formal dress shopping experience I've ever had. Ms Nanci was so helpful. In helping us, she was not pushy, she had great suggestions and lots of experience with what works. She was very patient and didn't get upset that I wanted to try many different styles to both see about something new and to rule out what might not work. She brought dresses to the dressing room and helped with zippers etc which sped up the process a lot. We were in and out in an hour and that has never happened before. We both bought affordable dresses that we love. If I ever need another formal dress again, this will be my first stop. There are a few more interesting tidbits about this store; they work directly with a seamstress who will do alterations for you and, if you want a different color dress (on most styles) you can order them, but there's is about an 8 week turnaround to get them. I will be posting a picture after our formal event.
