This was my first time at the Southern California Railway Museum. We went for the Thomas & Friends…read more"Day Out with Thomas" event. I have to share how impressed I was with the event from beginning to end. The JROTC or other military program was there volunteering their time to put on this event. When boarding the trains, they asked if I needed assistance with Tristan's wheelchair and getting him on the train. They also asked if we needed a quieter cab because Tristan has Autism. This made us feel extremely welcomed because my son and Godson both have Autism. It was not only inclusive but equitable. There was also plenty of handicap parking when entering. Have your placard up so they know where to direct you. The entrance fee includes a ride with Thomas and is $30.85 per person. If you'd like, you can also ride Percy for an extra $10. Of course we rode both. This event is not super large and it wasn't overly crowded. That could've been due to the rain. They do allow outside food and drinks in which helps with cost. The only suggestions I'd make is to offer more seating areas. Seating seemed to be limited even with the small crowd. Another suggestion would be to have a quiet tent for kiddos to wind down in. They had games, a hay maze, bouncers, dance tent, infant changing tent, access to the museums, opportunities to ride, photo opportunities, the museum guest shop, the Thomas guest shop, and food vendors. If your children love trains, definitely take them. Next week is the last week for Thomas and he won't be back until next year.

I would like to commend Ed for the work he has done for me in a business setting and for my wife…read moreand I in our Temecula home. Years ago when redecorating my office I chose historic pictures of the area as a theme. I want to thank Ed for putting together a very coherent display. It was more than just pictures, it gives a time line of the city that brings it all together. He was also responsible for acquiring two of the most significant pictures of my collection. He found two aerial views dating back 50 and 60 years that draw my patients attention on a regular basis. After the success in arranging my office Ed displayed the art in our home. Nine years later when selling our home we received many compliments from prospective buyers and accolades from real estate agents for the decor. Many times we were asked if ours was a model home. Ed's efforts enhanced the salability of our home. Thank You Ed for all your help. Dr. Tim and Marian K. Temecula and Lake Elsinore

That just seemed incredibly wasteful. Beautiful library and nice activities.

This isn't for the library itself, but it is for the activities that they host at their library…read more We've gone to a few where my children have been disappointed. We attended the "animal talk" with guests LLC Reptile this month and the employee refused to use a microphone for over half an hour because he legit said "he's never used one before and didn't know how it worked" and with way too many kids and parents packed in that room, you couldn't hear anything. Library employees let it get out of hand, let children stand up so everyone behind them couldn't see and just couldn't control the noise level. It wasn't a fun experience and my kids begged to go half way through because it was just talking and barely any interaction. This is just feedback that you can hopefully take to improve on your next event. PLEASE think about passing out tickets (like the other locations) to control how many people can enter. We were there waiting 30 minutes prior, reading inside and we were almost the last ones in because we didn't know a mob had already formed blocking the entire entrance. The sad part was your entire parking lot was packed and vehicles were parked up and down the street for this event and all I heard were kids and parents complaining that they couldn't see/hear anything. We've also been to a craft day where because we sat at a back table, they ran out of the craft before they got to us which is strange since there weren't that many people there. Again, think about being more prepared or just limit how many people can join an event so everyone can have fun and feel included.
