So I called and made an appointment and then I got there I came to find that they didn't even write my name down, aka, I didn't have a reservation anymore. After insisting that I HAD indeed called them the day before, they told me to go pick a color and sit in the pedicure chairs. I sat there with my feet soaking for about a half-an-hour until the point where my feet were starting to prune. Also, the tubs you put your feet in are not cleaned between each visitor...YUCK! Most of the staff there was very rude and unfriendly. It was not an enjoyable experience in the least bit. The only one who was actually personable was the one who did my pedicure and manicure, she was younger, I wish I could remember her name to give her props (and the only reason why this place gets 2 stars instead of 1), and more talkative and actually smiled, unlike the rest of the staff (who really only laughed or smiled while pointing at other customers and most likely talking about them in Vietnamese). My nails started chipping two days later...seriously? I pay $50 (including tip) for a mani-pedi and my nails start chipping after two days when I did not do anything that would really do any damage? I've had manicures last well over a week without chipping when they were done at another places. Just an all around bad experience. I will never go back here. read more

I have had some good experiences at this nail salon and several bad ones. I am not a fan of having wide square nails (why is this even a trend?), I want them to look professional and natural. It took me serveral tries to find the nail technicians that are actually good at what they do. (Lisa & Trahn are exceptional). I have never had a problem with a pedicure here and I do pay close attention to cleanliness of the tubs and tools. My daughter has had a pedicure that looked like it was done by a two year old. They nail polish was put on haphazard (the technician is gone). She has also had her fingernails painted with absolutely no regard to what she asked for. I have been less than pleased with my nail fills on a few occasions. Just lazy crappy work. You definitely need an appointment otherwise you will get stuck with whoever. You also have to be assertive with what you want, there are some who do speak and understand English. My biggest issue with this salon is the receptionists, specifically Megan and the lack of basic customer service. There is no excuse for being rude or disrespectful in a customer service job. Speaking down to anyone, even if they don't speak English, is disrespectful. Interupting a service, that customers are paying for, so that you can relay a message or to ask the technician when they will be done? Just plain rude. I could accept an interruption here or there...but it happens consistently with no regard to the customers that are in there. I have just started to go to Dream Nail and actually am very pleased. The first time I went I saw Trish. What a lovely person she was and she did a beautiful job. Second time I went and had another tech. Not really happy with the job she did. I went back a few times for some little touch ups. They totally stood behind their work. They wouldn't allow her to charge the difference on a credit card so she needed to go to the bank to make a withdrawal and pay in cash. Total inconvenience for my mother. Overpriced and quality is terrible. Workers are nice there but my boyfriend and I went there to see what it was like, I got acrylics with a design on one finger and it was 38.00. I had an appointment for a pedicure today. I arrived right behind two other women. I was told to go pick out my color and was quickly brought back to the chairs and started soaking my feet. Thirty five minutes later, after watching the woman who came in right before me get her toes done and also seeing another woman be brought back and get her toes started, I was finally acknowledged and asked if I would like a drink. I told the receptionist that I was about to leave and she said the girl was done and about to do my feet. I don't' recall her apologizing and nothing was done to make up for my inconvenience. Why did I bother making an appointment!!! If they were short staffed or whatever, they should have mentioned that they only had one person doing pedicures (unless you were also getting your fingers done) and that it would be over a half hour wait. I work full time and have two children who participate a number of activities. I don't really have the time or money to have these types of things done but I figured I had a hour and I would treat myself to something relaxing for mother's day. I was so mad after waiting so long that I didn't enjoy the pedicure (when it finally started!) at all and had little time left to dry before I had to leave. This place was certainly deceiving, as at first glance it was gorgeous, but the prices and service were less than acceptable. The price had gone up since my first experience here years ago. The lady doing my pedi seemed underage to be working, and a woman continuously pushed us to get extra add ons that we didn't want, nor could afford. The two coats of polish that she put on looked swaley and uneven so my expensive pedi turned out to look like a baby had painted my toes! I go every two weeks for a standing and love the service and pampering! It's quiet and relaxing and I always look forward to going. If I ever don't like something they always make it right. However I never leave and decide later I don't like it either and I get regular compliments on my nails every week. Not the greatest nail salon I've ever been to. I've already had semi bad experiences here prior to today. Went today with my mom for a mani/pedi day. The technician completely finished my manicure before anyone went up to my mother to start hers. After waiting for quite some time we decided to just cut it short and leave with the one manicure. I had an appointment and yet I got there and waited over a half hour after my appointment time to get service. Was told a base level mani-pedi would be $45, but then they force you to choose a type of pedicure from a price list once you're sitting down and even when you pick the cheapest one the entire mani-pedi ends up being $55, plus tip. My foot was scrubbed too hard on the bone on top and now it is scabbed over and painful. My nails chipped the same day. One hand has sparkles on the nails, must have been leftover from the last person on the clear coat brush. Gaps on either side of my nail that didn't get painted. Got questioned over and over again why I don't want gel and how much better it is no matter how many times I explained I didn't want to spend an extra $30. read more

I went to use a $53 gift certificate a week after it had expired. the manager said she would honor it if I was a regular customer but would not otherwise. she did end up saying she would honor 50 percent. when asked how much a pedicure was I was told $28. I made a reservation for today and then was told it would be $38. I said I was told $28, so they honored that but told me it had to be a cash only deal. She started my pedicure, but when someone came in she stopped working on me and spent 20 minutes doing the woman's eyebrows and facial work. She smudged 2 nails putting on the flip flops which had to be touched up. The pumice stone she rinsed in cold water and stuck it back in the drawer, YUCK. the leg lotion was awful as well. read more

Been visiting this salon off and on for awhile, every time I go it gets worse. I will never go back again. The place was clean & lovely when it first opened, now the chairs are worn down and it is dirty. I went in yesterday for a pedi (in January!) when I told the staff what I wanted, who were all sitting down as there was no one in the place, they burst out laughing and cackling. I sat down and of course they tried to up sell me, which I firmly said no. The price $38.00 is too high for what was done. I also made an appt a few months back and they did honor (see other review), it was a excrement show to get them to understand what they did wrong. They also do not take credit/debit cards and tell you to go to their ATM on location (Hello, IRS are you listening - a cash only business??) I stopped in 4 days before and asked for a pedicure appointment with someone who had done my pedicure before. As she was no longer there, I asked for an appointment with someone who was experienced and not new to the business. The person who scheduled the appointment was not Vietnamese and assured me the person was good. When I arrived for the appointment, it was obvious the tech was very young and not an experienced person which I expected. And the work and service was the worst I ever had. It took all of 30 minutes for the $38 pedicure. I have Never had one done in such a fast time. The cutting of the nails was crooked, straight across on some toes or curvy on others. Hardly any time was spent filing the toe nails. Some toe nails were longer others. There was dried skin still attached and cleaning around toe nails and cuticles was not done. I paid an extra $10 for the dream spa pedicure and all it is was lotion applied to calves. Big rip off. I had also scheduled an eye brow wax. This, too, was rushed and not done professionally. I was sitting up and not reclined. I asked for cleaning all hairs around brows and even asked her to pluck ones not waxed off. She pretended she did not understand. I am 2 days away from vacation and have to pluck my brows, as there is still a lot of hair after the 2 minute, $10 wax. I should have asked for this person's credentials. Not good at all. I could kick myself for having given her an $8 tip for the $48 service. And this tip was far less than what I would ordinarily give. I live in Chili and this is closest to my home. This place is terrible. I went in for an eye brow wax and went to pay for it with my credit card. The lady at the desk kept insisting I pay cash when I told her multiple times that I did not have any nor did I have a debit card on me. The sign on the door clearly indicates they take MasterCard or Visa so I didn't even think of this being an issue. They kept telling me the sale would be "declined" if they tried to scan my card for 10 dollars. I then said I would have to bring them cash the following day because I had no way of getting it. The lady then said she could sell me a 40 gift card (because apparently you have to spend 40 there to use a card) and then I could apply 10 of it and have the rest to use later. Yeah, right! Why would I want to go back? The best part was she asked if in the interim she could take a picture of my credit card to "hold". I refused and said that I was not comfortable with that. This is the worst service I've ever seen at a nail salon. I first went In and asked for pink and white flared nails, which one lady started and then half way between another one finished. First of all they didn't use the pink powder I asked for even though I clearly stated that's what I wanted, they used clear and still charged me the same price, not to mention the staff doing my nails was extremely rude for no reason. Do not get your nails done at Dream Nails in Chili. I just got mine filled and she did a really bad job. She even burnt 4 of my nail beds. When I showed the manager he tried to tell me it is the color of my nail beds and it is hard to blend. He said I need new tips put on. The ones on are only 2 months old! I told him that was not true. I went to another nail salon and they said my nail beds were burnt and not to do anything for at least 2 weeks. Let them heal so I won't be in pain. They also wouldn't let me leave before they put this oil on my cuticles to help the burning. FREE OF CHARGE. Dream nails wouldn't even do that. Wouldn't give a refund. Instead he said he would do my fill over again and use a special color to blend. That would only damage my nails farther. My right thumb nail still hurts. DO NOT GO TO DREAM NAILS. They don't stand by their work. They also do not use the machine right to sand down the product. They don't hold it flat but on an angle which cause damage to your nail bed. read more

She hurt me during pedicure, kept hitting the back of my leg with a sanding block, my leg was all scraped/ she pulled out a hangnail and ouch! There were globs of nail polish on my big toe and I asked to have her re-do it. She just added more polish, I kept saying not "more" polish -"less" nailpolish. she reluctantly re-did that toe. Manicure was worse, ended up getting clear gel and getting out of there, but not before a few tears shed. Gel matching polish did not match, one was peach and the other one was purple in the same set with the same name. She kept arguing that the peach would turn purple under the light. So I let her do only one nail and it stayed peach. They kept saying it was the "same color" No one seemed to care until manager came over, looked at the two different colors and she said "uh thats wierd". I said I don't want peach on my fingernails. They offered one darker purple option which I didn't like but were rushing me. That's how I ended up with clear. This was for a wedding and peach did not match my dress, not much was offered and I paid full price, can't fight it on credit card, because they only take cash. This was bad. Sales driven, money driven, not customer satisfaction. Not relaxing at all. And poor job performance. I will never go back. read more

I went to Dream nails for a gel manicure last week. The woman who worked on my nails was clearly the owner because she was distracted and trying to micro-manage the entire salon while she did my nails. She was rough and agressive with my nails, at times using her own dirty finger nails to push my cuticles back instead of the proper tool. My manicure came out extremely sloppy and now, just one week later they have all peeled off. Gel manicures are supposed to last 2-3 weeks and definitely not peel off like regular nail polish. I will never go to this salon again, which is a shame because it is located so close to my home. read more

She said it was the worst set of nails she has ever seen. There were gaps between my real nails and the white tips started way too far down my nails. I called Cassandra the next day to express my concern and tell her I wanted my $75 back because I had no nails to show for it. She was soooo RUDE and down right MEAN! I never gripped or complained about the price although I knew it was wayyyyy to expensive. $45 for a fill? and then another $30 on top of that for a fix because I was unhappy!? I have been going here for years but decided to find another salon. 1) The quality isn't very good for the price. I've had great acrylic/gel fills at times, yet lacking ones at other times. The better technicians have left. Some technicians use very little acrylic which left me with chipped nails within a week. When I asked her to put acrylic on my whole nail, it appeared I had offended her. She responded that they would fix any chipped nails. I don't want my nails to chip in the first place. 2) Another issue is that some technicians are inexperienced. I was left with bumpy nails or nails that weren't rounded properly. Thinner on one part and thicker on the other part of my nail. Plus she wasn't able to use the dremel tool properly. It kept slipping off my nail hurting my skin. 3) They are over priced as compared to other salons in the area. They're a good $10 more per fill and $8 more per wax. They charge $5 extra if getting a different color on one nail. Why? It still needs to be polished. Why charge more. Add $5 if you want to shorten your nails. There's always an up-charge for something 4) They used to accept credit cards. Now they only accept cash. They tell you this secretly in a hushed voice. I am very appalled with this location. I came in today with my family. My mother wasn't very sure what she wanted on her nails so I was trying to explain the different nail services to her. I am a cosmetologist I currently am in school. I first became interested in cosmetology in high school and I went through the wemoco program for cosmetology. The owner was not only incredibly rude to me but as well as my mother which is in know way shape or form okay with me. She even tried to tell me I didn't know what I was talking about. i came here a while ago with an appointment to get acrylic nails with my two girlfriends. the lady who did my nails was so hard to understand what she was saying to me because of her thick accent and broken english (not that I care) but I tried to tell her that I wanted a full set. i told her repeatedly to make it clear even though she kept talking to me and i couldn't interpret what she was saying. she kept groaning when she was cleaning up my nails as if she was annoyed. the tool she used to trim my cuticles was gross and she never stopped to clean it although it was getting profusely clogged with the skin that she was ripping off. i had never gotten acrylics before so i didn't really know what she was doing but halfway through i realized that she wasn't giving me acrylics and was actually in the process of giving me a gel manicure instead with white french tips. i stopped her and asked if she was doing acrylics and she miraculously spoke somewhat clear english and said "no, you said gel nails. i asked you what you wanted and you said gel." which is not at all what i said - i never once said i was here to get gel nails. she told me that i can come back in two weeks when they come off and get acrylics then but i'm still gonna have to deal with and pay for the gel nails that i never wanted in the first place. it was $35 which was way overpriced and was the same exact price as the acrylics that my friend got. no me gusta! read more

Don't bother unless you 'have to' go there. I've given this salon many attempts, each time I walk out even more disappointed than the last. Done going back. 1) went for a pedi... they give you a list of pedicures to choose from, not knowing that the "regular"/"cheapest pedicure is not listed... rip-off. 2) got my lip & brows waxed... had raised bumps on my brows and my entire upper lip was swollen and numb for a solid day...looked like I had plastic surgery! 3) went for a simple mani... had an older lady rush through the process. She was rushing so quickly that she was shaking and getting polish all over my skin that she didn't even bother to use remover on. I had to tell her 3 times to file my nail but she still left it pointy and sharp as could be. I went to go pay and they are now "cash only" and refused to let me go to Wegmans to get money and insisted I use their ATM which of course had a fee.
