Poor service and overpriced. I brought my boyfriend there for a pedicure ( for both of us) and a gel manicure for myself. They charged me almost $200!!!! I told them when I went in that I only had a credit card, they said no problem. When it came time to pay they said they were no longer taking credit card to use the ATM inside the store. You can find better for less elsewhere. read more

Well I made monthly stop to Dream Nails, we have to take care of our toes. And as always, I ask for LeLe. I've known her for a few years. She has always done a super job. She doesn't rush, takes her time. I've always respected her for her customer care habits. Ask for LeLe. read more

They use drill to remove gel polish only to destroy your natural nails. I wouldn't count the 2 min sitting time for acetone ball because it did nothing, contact wasn't long enough. Girl then proceeded to slice 2 fingers with the drill, that were bleeding. Gel polish cured uneven in spots. I would not recommend. read more

Relaxing and quality pedicure! The atmosphere is relaxing, with tranquil waterfalls and a huge space. Most nail salons are cramped but this is spacious and has plenty of seats for pedicures and manicures. I came as a walk in and was greeted and seated immediately! The massage chair is the BEST I've ever sat in (yes even nicer than a bougie spas). There are a variety of pedicure options and SO MANY COLORS to pick from. My nail tech was sweet and had the perfect mix of chatting and letting me relax. She paid attention to detail and made my legs and feet smooth as butter. The lotions smelled amazing. I loved it here. I WILL be back! read more

I stumbled upon this amazing place during a google search, Yelp reviews are definitely from previous management. This place is hands down the absolute best nail salon I've ever been to on the East Coast or Midwest. I requested an appointment with Yelp, they were quick to respond and even made the appointment convenient for us. My daughter got a full set, with design and almond shape and I've never seen a more perfectly crafted set of nails before. There were zero imperfections. My daughter who normally leaves a little disappointed was raving about her nails! Win for the teenage mom! My sister and I took advantage of their new selection of pedicures and went with the pearl one. It smelled amazing, felt even better. I had Henry and he never seemed bored, uninterested or rushed. He took his time, making sure my feet and legs were attended to in the most relaxing way. The hot stone and paraffin treatment were icing on the cake. Their selection of colors is impressive, but their gel colors are stunning. My sister and I got #16 and #18. We also received complimentary beverages which we also enjoyed. The service and atmosphere we're beyond anything I've ever experienced before and their pricing is extremely competitive, we felt that it was inexpensive for the services we received. My sister will be a regular since she lives in the area and every time I come back to visit, I will definitely be visiting them as well! If you're looking for a top nail salon in the York area, look no further, you just found it. You can thank me later when you're nice and relaxed and have an amazing set of nails, whether it your hands or your toes! Dream Salon and Spa, never lose this touch, what you have is magic! read more

I thought I would give this place a try but I wish I hadn't. I went in for a simple soak off which cost me $12. That seemed oddly high to me but I went with it. I was definitely disappointed. As you can see, she didn't even get off all the dip powder or the color. My nails are still so thick from the clear dip powder that remains. These pictures were taken within 5 minutes of leaving the salon and as you can see they are chipping. Just overall pretty disappointed and I don't think I'll be going back. read more

I see a lot of negative reviews here. This is my 2nd or 3rd visit. Got a pedicure as a birthday treat. I never get manicures as they never last for me, I can even destroy gels. It's very relaxing inside and clean. I've watched them clean the tubs here. I also noticed another reviewer comment about the lotion on legs after the polish. I assume this is so your nails have time to dry. Cash tips only. But we had no problem paying for 2 manicures with a credit card. No issues with upselling either. read more

Unfortunately this is not the first bad experience I've had getting my nails done at this location. For one they are extremely overpriced and try too hard with the suggestive sell for nails/eyebrows/treatments you didn't ask for. I went yesterday for a pedicure and while the nails look okay, I have a big scratch from where the top of my foot was scratched while she was buffing the underside of my foot. Slow down so you don't injure other clients- I won't be going back. read more

This was honestly the worst pedicure I've ever gotten. They were aggressive with their words/tone and mumbled. They didn't sanitize their tools and didn't clean under my nails or trim the cuticles or the sides. It was $38 minimum for a pedicure, and for a 15 minute endeavor where they barely did anything. I've gotten hundreds of pedicures before and I've never been so frustrated, not worth your money! read more

Not impressed at all!! All though it is a great looking place, it's definitely Not worth the money. I got a simple manicure (not gel) and my daughter just a nail color. The lady seemed to rush through everything. The hand "massage" was literally her just rubbing lotion on my hands. I even called before we came down to make sure they had time for us, and they said "yes". But in the middle of my manicure another customer came in and I could tell the lady who was doing my nails knew her and was going to do her nails. So they basically squeezed us in and rushed us out. And they charged me $5 extra dollars cause my daughter picked out 2 colors for us instead on just 1. The girl who painted my daughters nails looked like she was in high school. Not even one of the licensed technicians. Even though she just got a simple nail painting I think she should have a professional. I'm paying for it after all. I could paint her nails at home for free. And she didn't even do a good job. The color was uneven and was done quickly too. And 1 day later and my nails r already chipping!! I will NOT be going back. With all the nail salons around you would think they would give better customer service so customers would return. read more

My dip manicure cost me $60 today and I would love to get that money back. Manicurist didn't touch my cuticles at all, which desperately needed to be pushed back and trimmed. She never asked what shape I wanted and made them square, which I hate. My nails are way too THICK and CHUNKY, especially the "accent" which I paid more for and was just a few sprinkles of glitter. She also skipped the lotion and hand massage that is usually done. When I went back in to have her file them down she did very little to change that and had a bad attitude. Refund, please. read more

I booked a manicure and pedicure appointment for 6 people at Dream Nails. They require a 20% deposit to hold your place (understandably) for reservations for 5 or more people. Dream Nails may look like your typical sparse nail salon from the outside but it has a more spa like decor inside. There's even a glass waterfall thing behind the main counter. Fancy. They were ready for us when we arrived 15m early. I wanted to surprise my friends with some cupcakes and was permitted to do so. My friends were thrilled to be pampered with a manicure/pedicure while seated in a comfy chair eating delicious cupcakes (thanks, Two Babes Brewin!) and sipping some sparkling apple cider. It took me a while to realize this but the chairs you sat in for pedicures had different massage options on a remote. Oops. I will remember to turn on the massage option earlier next time. The nail techs did try to upsell everyone - "get the French tips! How about gel? You want gel? You should do gel. Is the best". It was a little aggravating to have to keep saying no but after asking 5x and realizing we were on a budget, they did stop. I was later told one of my friends' paint job on her nail cracked while we were still there and I am not sure why it wasn't fixed.....my friend didn't ask her to so maybe she would have been able to get it redone? They do not take cash tips so some of us had to go to the ATM in Wegmans to tip them. However, I did expect this as I have been coming here to get my eyebrows done for a while (and Cacee does an amazing job every single time. Seriously, if you aren't happy with your eyebrows, call Dream Nails and ask if Cacee can see you). The timely fashion in attending to us combined with the friendly service and fair prices earns them 4 stars and a "we are doing this the day before the wedding, right?" from the bride. read more

Worse experience I ever had at a nail salon. First off the woman who did my manicure was so rude I asked for a fill she only put 2 new nails on bc I had broken 2 amd she cleaned up the rest. So how is she going to sit there and charge me $50for a fill! That wasn't even the worse part. So it was really hot in there and she kept complaining that my hands felt wet which they weren't but I got sp fed up with her complaining I asked her if it is bothering her too much I can leave to which she said nothing and did not say another word after. Came in from out of town and went here. I've never had a worse manicure. I'm going to have to take it off as soon as I get home. I got a regular manicure, not gel. UPDATE 4/11/16- pointer finger nail broke when getting out of a car. Very disappointed in both service provided and treatment of customer. Service was sub par. I had my lip waxed first, which I ended up tweezing my lip myself because she had left patches of hair. I felt like I was treated differently because I didn't opt for a gel polish with my acrylic fill. I said I preferred the matte top coat. Mid way through my fill the salon manager came by and slammed down the gelish color that matched the polish I had chosen. The gel polish was then pushed on me again stating she could put a matte coat on top of it. I declined again so she went on to tell me that the matte top coat was considered a design, so it would cost an additional $5. It was never about the money, it was the principal that they were going to get more money some way, some how. I told her forget it and I would get regular top coat, which then I never received lotion massage, which I saw being given to the gel manicures. On a positive note, she did shape my nail nicely. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Don't go here! I went for my eyebrows a few months back and was charged $10. When I went today to get my eyebrows done, the old woman behind the desk charged me $15 for the exact same thing I got the first time. She asked me before if I wanted skinnier brow I said yes she left them thick and left hairs all underneath. Definitely not worth $15 for. She proceeded to let me pay with the $14 I had in cash after me having to make my sister go get my card. When I asked a while back if they take card they said no, so you have to use their ATM. Well today they decided they accept card. She told me to bring another dollar next time I come to pay her. First of all, I will not be coming back ever again. Second, when I went to argue the price because I had paid $10 before, she proceeded to tell me that I don't remember. Who are you to tell me what I don't remember? The pictures of the job says it all. (She left wax on my eye lid, and even pushed so hard on my eyeball I started to see black spots.) read more

Went in for a relaxing pedicure and was everything but. Was in and out in 20 minutes. Started working on my feet before she even filled the tub. There was no soaking prior, very rushed and never filed my nails, all sharp corners from them being clipped.. I asked her if she was going to file them and she said she did. Really..where was I? Quickest and worst pedicure I have ever gotten. I went to get my nails done the day before my bridal shower and wanted to get pampered! I went in to get a pedicure and dip nails and in the middle of my pedicure, I decided to go somewhere else to get my nails done because I was so disappointed and frustrated. It was over in 20 minutes and was $43. I complained about one nail being messed up and another worker had her redo all of them because the whole nail wasn't painted. She still went extremely fast when redoing them and it was mediocre. I will never recommend be this place or go back read more

Worst pedicure ever. Anyone can paint nails... But my heals are still cracked and scratchy. I specifically told her several times.. Even asked her to make them smoother with a buffer... Blew me off.. Too thick . I mentioned my usual spa gets them smooth as a baby butt with a callous cutter.. They "don't do that here" I cancelled my manicure.. Not wasting my time or money. Oh, and the look of disgust they give you when questioning the quality of work... Then they speak to each other in another language and giggle... Wish I had recorded it. The spa is physically clean and modern. But that is all read more

I made an appointment for mani pedis. Both for a child and an adult, and then just a pedicure for an adult. $120 in total. The polish was bubbly and chipped in a day, the salon smelled like cigarette smoke, and the woman helping me argued with me about what I made the appointment for. She seemed rushed and upset. She moved on to another client after me without a word to me. It was a disappointing and overpriced experience in total. We will not be returning read more

I went in for a gel manicure and pedicure. My nails are all different lengths. The gel on my feet didn't lo right so she kept putt spray on to make them look shiny the both of my big toes had huge bubbles. She attempted to fix them but they were still bad. I paid 88.00 which I thought was overpriced and left. I returned later in the day and she wanted another girl to fix everything because the gel never cured. I asked for my money back and after all of the girls arguing amongst themselves not using the English language she agreed to give me 30.00 back. Read the reviews and NEVER GO! read more

If I could give them a big, fat zero, I most certainly would! My experience was a VERY negative one and I will NEVER return. One of the techs had the audacity to tell me "dip is $50," before I even sat down. Didn't even get a "hello," but she made it a point to tell me the price. I said "I didn't ask you that. Did you say it because you thought I could not afford it?" She gave me some bs about they have to tell new customers before service because some customers get mad and yell at them. Excuse me, but what does that have to do with me? It was a microaggression and a clear assumption that I was gonna be ghetto and turn up over a $50 nail cost. Racist... mind you, many new walk-ins came in after me, and yet I heard no other price announcements during my time here. read more

Came in from out of town for an upcoming wedding and decided to get our nails done at this location. Paid for 2 gel manicures, 4 pedicures and 2 regular manicures and ended up paying $180. This is the most expensive nail salon that I've ever been to. Also, they only accept cash! So if you try this place, make sure you bring cash! Worst nail salon service I've ever experienced. Went with my daughter for her manicure and my pedicure. They left me sitting in waiting area the entire time my daughter was getting her nails done. Then finally said I could start my pedicure after she was already finished. I decided to decline after being ignored so long. And they were not busy that day. They use dirty tools and the wrong grit files on natural nails. Overpriced and complete garbage manicure.

They say they take credit cards but they don't. I had to use their ATM with their fees attached, all said and done I treated a friend to mani/pedis came to 240 like wow, more than moderate amount, my girl couldn't speak English and unable to communicate what I wanted and needed. So I called and made an appointment and then I got there I came to find that they didn't even write my name down, aka, I didn't have a reservation anymore. After insisting that I HAD indeed called them the day before, they told me to go pick a color and sit in the pedicure chairs. I sat there with my feet soaking for about a half-an-hour until the point where my feet were starting to prune. Also, the tubs you put your feet in are not cleaned between each visitor...YUCK! Most of the staff there was very rude and unfriendly. It was not an enjoyable experience in the least bit. The only one who was actually personable was the one who did my pedicure and manicure, she was younger, I wish I could remember her name to give her props (and the only reason why this place gets 2 stars instead of 1), and more talkative and actually smiled, unlike the rest of the staff (who really only laughed or smiled while pointing at other customers and most likely talking about them in Vietnamese). My nails started chipping two days later...seriously? I pay $50 (including tip) for a mani-pedi and my nails start chipping after two days when I did not do anything that would really do any damage? I've had manicures last well over a week without chipping when they were done at another places. Just an all around bad experience. I will never go back here. read more

I have had some good experiences at this nail salon and several bad ones. I am not a fan of having wide square nails (why is this even a trend?), I want them to look professional and natural. It took me serveral tries to find the nail technicians that are actually good at what they do. (Lisa & Trahn are exceptional). I have never had a problem with a pedicure here and I do pay close attention to cleanliness of the tubs and tools. My daughter has had a pedicure that looked like it was done by a two year old. They nail polish was put on haphazard (the technician is gone). She has also had her fingernails painted with absolutely no regard to what she asked for. I have been less than pleased with my nail fills on a few occasions. Just lazy crappy work. You definitely need an appointment otherwise you will get stuck with whoever. You also have to be assertive with what you want, there are some who do speak and understand English. My biggest issue with this salon is the receptionists, specifically Megan and the lack of basic customer service. There is no excuse for being rude or disrespectful in a customer service job. Speaking down to anyone, even if they don't speak English, is disrespectful. Interupting a service, that customers are paying for, so that you can relay a message or to ask the technician when they will be done? Just plain rude. I could accept an interruption here or there...but it happens consistently with no regard to the customers that are in there. Nail salons are in the business of customer service but that is lost at this salon. Remember you get what you pay for. Typically these type of nail salons are simply about making money and doing it quickly. read more
