Most nail salons are cramped but this is spacious and has plenty of seats for pedicures and manicures. I came as a walk in and was greeted and seated immediately! The massage chair is the BEST I've ever sat in (yes even nicer than a bougie spas). There are a variety of pedicure options and SO MANY COLORS to pick from. I thought I would give this place a try but I wish I hadn't. I went in for a simple soak off which cost me $12. That seemed oddly high to me but I went with it. I was definitely disappointed. As you can see, she didn't even get off all the dip powder or the color. My nails are still so thick from the clear dip powder that remains. I see a lot of negative reviews here. This is my 2nd or 3rd visit. Got a pedicure as a birthday treat. I never get manicures as they never last for me, I can even destroy gels. It's very relaxing inside and clean. I've watched them clean the tubs here. I also noticed another reviewer comment about the lotion on legs after the polish. I booked a manicure and pedicure appointment for 6 people at Dream Nails. They require a 20% deposit to hold your place (understandably) for reservations for 5 or more people. Dream Nails may look like your typical sparse nail salon from the outside but it has a more spa like decor inside. There's even a glass waterfall thing behind the main counter. Fancy. They were ready for us when we arrived 15m early. I wanted to surprise my friends with some cupcakes and was permitted to do so. My friends were thrilled to be pampered with a manicure/pedicure while seated in a comfy chair eating delicious cupcakes (thanks, Two Babes Brewin!) and sipping some sparkling apple cider. It took me a while to realize this but the chairs you sat in for pedicures had different massage options on a remote. Oops. I will remember to turn on the massage option earlier next time. The nail techs did try to upsell everyone - "get the French tips! How about gel? You want gel? You should do gel. Is the best". It was a little aggravating to have to keep saying no but after asking 5x and realizing we were on a budget, they did stop. I was later told one of my friends' paint job on her nail cracked while we were still there and I am not sure why it wasn't fixed.....my friend didn't ask her to so maybe she would have been able to get it redone? They do not take cash tips so some of us had to go to the ATM in Wegmans to tip them. However, I did expect this as I have been coming here to get my eyebrows done for a while (and Cacee does an amazing job every single time. UPDATE 4/11/16- pointer finger nail broke when getting out of a car. Very disappointed in both service provided and treatment of customer. Service was sub par. I had my lip waxed first, which I ended up tweezing my lip myself because she had left patches of hair. I felt like I was treated differently because I didn't opt for a gel polish with my acrylic fill. I said I preferred the matte top coat. Mid way through my fill the salon manager came by and slammed down the gelish color that matched the polish I had chosen. The gel polish was then pushed on me again stating she could put a matte coat on top of it. I declined again so she went on to tell me that the matte top coat was considered a design, so it would cost an additional $5. It was never about the money, it was the principal that they were going to get more money some way, some how. I told her forget it and I would get regular top coat, which then I never received lotion massage, which I saw being given to the gel manicures. I absolutely hate giving negative reviews but I've been to this place several times now with horrible experiences. Let me first start by saying this place could be great if it wasn't for the owner (?) who stomps around the salon like an evil dictator.
