Prior to my husband and I getting a massage, we read the reviews. We still went ahead and gave this place the benefit of the doubt. After we got our massage, the first words that came out of my mouth were "the reviews were to the T (true)". We were asked to pay upfront, I was given the receptionist as my masseuse. She kept answering phones & also kept stepping out to help customers. My husband and I confronted her and she offered to give me an extra 5 minutes. Once my husbands time was up, my masseuse said, "okay your time is up, thank you" that was when I confronted her again and said, "ummm.... no, it's not" the odd thing about it all was that my husbands masseuse was still massaging him when my masseuse was telling me that my time was up. How is that, right? We were both so unhappy with our service that I told my husband that we were NOT tipping. We 99.9 % of the time tip, but I am against crappy service and also people that take advantage! Therefore, I told my husband that we were going To walk out since we had already paid for our service. As we were walking out, they said, "Tip, Tip?" And my husband said, "maybe next time". The masseuse has the nerve to tell him that she works off of tips. Like yeah, right and if it is true, then, she would have a great law suit towards her employer. Oh, and by the way, the towels smelled like cigarettes & I saw my masseuse or I should say receptionist put back the towel she used on me back into the steamer. I am leaving this review, because it's important for people to know what they are getting into. I scheduled a one hour deep tissue massage that cost $60 which is a normal rate. They make you pay for the massage before you receive your massage which is not uncommon practice. I normally straight off the bat leave a 10 dollars tip for the person, and give additional cash after my massage is done depending how good the massage was. My experience was less they desirable for a couple reasons. The first was that it was not a deep tissue massage in any way. The masseuse did not apply even half the pressure that any other masseuse I have ever had. The OIL was 3x more then any person would ever need to get a massage... crazy amounts! I would have been able to slide on asphalt like it was a Slip and Slide. The only reason I don't give this a one star is because the masseuse was able to locate one of the areas that I was having tightness and did a so-so job on that area. My last, but not least complaint (and majority reason I'm leaving this review), is after the massage was over and I was walking to the lobby to leave, the lady had my receipt on the counter, and said something to the effect of, "ten dollars" and pointed at my receipt. I was confused about what she was saying/asking and to sum up a confusing conversation, she wanted me to add an additional $10 to the receipt/her tip. I was so taken aback by this I didn't know what to say.. except no. I normally would have given up to $20 in tip for a great massage, but for a what I received $10 dollars was fitting. Do not recommend this place and I will never go back again. Hopefully this saves someone from having a horrible experience. read more

I have to drop 2 stars.. my regular masseuse is gone! 2 good ones there that I know of for some reason, left at the same time. Massage is an integral part of my life. So, we went anyways to try with newer staff. Not the same. My gal was amazing at what she does. My back knots were screaming in need. She was deliberate and strong. However, when she came into the room, first red flag was that she exclaimed that she had forgetten her phone. Oh.. no. No phone, please! I said nothing and just closed my eyes, trying to relax. I was praying that for 60 min, she could leave the phone alone. Music came on her phone and then she began massaging my neck one handed, other hand texting! Ugh! Then on the table, it would vibrate. Then she went to check/ text from it again later, it fell off its post and expletives could be heard from her as she was massaging my back. I still said nothing but I wanted to tell her how much more money she could make if she could just turn her phone off. The 'salon' has a music system but she explained that she does not bother with it. Still tipped but inclined now to find a new place. Disappointing. read more

The massage itself was ok. It wasn't as good as the nicer places but i guess you get what you pay for. It was a little hard at first but she eased up after I asked her to. She also took a phone call in the middle of the massage. I'm not mad, I understand it could have been a family emergency. I heard a woman talking loudly. Sounded heated. Anyway, there was a mid week special for an hour massage. I chose and paid for that but only got 45 minutes. Exactly 45. Not 46 or 47, or anything closer to an hour, but 45 min on the dot. I didn't think that was cool. I thought it might have been a misunderstanding but when the massage was over she asked for payment by pointing to the sign that says one hour with the price on it. I was not happy with the service. I asked for a 30 min foot massage for 2 people and they took us to a room with tables, I told them it was supposed to be a foot massage and they took us to a couch type area. My friend only got a half massage, the lady left for a long time and didn't do a great job. Mine was ok. I think I was over charged also. I paid $80 for 2 people 30 min foot massage. If I could leave no stars I would. This is a VERY shady strange foot massage facility. They don't have the reclining chairs for foot massage. Only a bazaar pedicure looking bench, or you can go into a room. The man who greeted me explained the process and talked me into a full body massage, because the foot massage area was so uncomfortable. He showed me the room and I had to leave. It had an OLD flannel sheet with lots black hairs on it, with an even OLDER floral sheet you could see through to cover you up with. The face cradle was so disgusting he even went to look for a new one. The place was very dirty and a man was there with his kids talking to a woman loudly in the back. I got a gift certificate for a massage at this place for Christmas. I called to ask if they had couples massage and what pricing would be. They said yes they do couples massage and gave me a price on what it would be. So my boyfriend and I go in and they gave me a different price then they told me Over the phone. They don't do couples massage!! They put us in separate rooms. Have been going to Jimmy twice a month for almost four months and he is wonderful. He is able to work out to knots without any soreness the next day. He is great and I would recommend him to all my friends. While I don't suffer from headaches or migraines, he has also been trained to ease that pain, as well as back and leg pain associated with sciatica. Overall very good and a very kind man. read more

I had a massage by NORMA today. I have been having trouble with my hip for weeks. Been in ER an nothing helps. Worse pain I ever had. Getting a massage by NORMA was the best decision I ever made. She had excellent consistent pressure. She stretched my leg an hip. After the massage I could actually walk with no pain at all. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NORMA. I will be going back weekly. She gives and outstanding massage with medium to firm pressure! She has a sixth sense about her in know exactly where your knots are and can work them out! I get massages often and love them. I went to Dream Massage as I received a gift certificate for a $60 massage. My first impression was negative as they didn't know what to do with it and kept asking me for some number, but I wasn't clear what they wanted. My second negative impression was when I went to the room there was no sheet to lie under, but was shown a folded up towel with no explanation, but which I used to cover myself. I'm certainly glad I left my undies on as she had no concept of modesty and I had to keep adjusting the towel to get coverage. My third negative was this was not a massage, but a hard rub down with bony arms and elbows, during which I twice had to tell her she was hurting me running her elbow hard up my spine, not along side it, but bone on bone. She left the room twice, leaving the door open, to get more oil and to greet a customer, who she walked past my open door. I should have walked out at that point, but hoped the massage to improve...it didn't. There is absolutely no spa ambiance which for a $60 massage one would expect. I left no tip. I would not go back and do not recommend this place. If there was a zero rating I would give it one. read more

I don't like having to give bad reviews but this business does not know how to run a business. First the place does not feel like a spa and the price is way higher then most places that do a better job then them. Now I know why I was able to get in last minute. At the end of the message I was demanded how much I was to tip them. I tipped them on the service I felt I got and they made me feel like I was not aloud to leave till I doubled my tip. I told them that is what I wanted to tip and sorry I can't change the paper. Yet still pressuring me to the point where I did change it on my card Receipt. Also me being in one room and my best friend in another we paid for the same message and what she got was way different then what I got. Even their massages aren't consistent. Is it possible to receive a bad massage? I didn't think so. I bought my bf a gift cert for his birthday and we finally cashed it out. 2 hour long massages and 2 back scrubs. Our masseuses talked the whole time to each other and at one point one even took a phone call and talked very loudly on the phone for 5+ minutes. They weren't going to do the back scrub that I paid for because there were people waiting but I spoke up so they hurried through it.
