The way in which she followed around my husband and I was absolutely comedic. A spacious and open store with us and one other shopper, and a mere 4 feet of space between the French woman and us. Staring us as we delighted in the first few minutes of discovering items in the store. After about 10 minutes it was still ongoing. She was on our balls the whole time. What a strange and weird woman, I thought. I turned to her, because she was right there anyway, and said "It's not like we're going to steal anything." Mind you, we were dressed nicely, and very respectful of the items, and even purchased something. It was my husband's birthday and I wanted him to have anything he wanted. After I confronted her bizarre behavior, she looked aghast and said she was just there to "help." Please. She was there scrutinizing our every move under the guise of trying to be helpful. She walked away, came back, and told me, "what a weird thing to say." No ma'am. You're the weird one for following us closely with very little space for our entire shopping experience. Like, are you having a bad day or is this just your personality? Anyways, we purchased our item and I smiled and said thank you and she gave me a stink face as I walked away. Funnily enough we were laughing about it later on with another local shop owner and he IMMEDIATELY knew which store and woman we were talking about. His service was exceptional but yeah, this is an ongoing theme at Clic! As soon as I red the other reviews later on I felt SO. VALIDATED. Will be keeping this erratic woman in my thoughts and hopes she is well and finds joy in life and is able to heal from the shackles of racism.

The venue is beautiful and modern with great artwork displayed around the venue. The outdoor space is well kept and there is at least two areas for a bar. The venue is quite sectioned off if you are looking to have an event, so be prepared for some separation. This venue needs a website and better social media exposure. I was unable to contact a person while trying to inquire about renting the space.

The space comfortably holds around 100 people. The space is spread out over two floors which left more than enough room for a bar setup, food tables, photo booth area, coat racks and open space for people to mingle. The artwork complemented the space and made for great conversation. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I definitely would come back for future events and exhibitions!

The irony of going to see an exhibition about the crime ridden streets of 80's Times Square in the rapidly gentrifying Lower East Side was not lost upon me as I walked past street art painted on brick even as a new glass and steel hotel rose up into the sky casting a shadow on a nearby Chinese supermarket. It was, to me, a very contradictory set of images. The gallery itself is so non-descript that if you are not looking for it, you will walk right past it. There is no giant sign, so if you are going there, just keep an eye out for the building number. When you see the door that looks like it goes into some random office, that's the one. The front area has a small counter where the folks running the gallery are situated. You go in and there is a wide open space with a column in the middle. I have no idea what this space was before, but clearly it was not always a gallery. I almost wished the walls and ceilings could talk. There are four walls large enough to hold paintings the size of a person, and I found standing around where the column was gave you some of the best views. To my surprise, there was a smaller room in the back with some more art. This was a separate exhibition than the main room. The walls aren't quite as big there and there is not as much room to stand so this is where the smaller paintings were displayed. I wound up purchasing Dickson's book and the staff was super nice about it, making sure to bring me out a fresh, shrink wrapped copy and thanking me for my visit. I had a nice, brief visit to the James Fuentes gallery and I would happily go again.

I did not spend much time here because the large explicit paintings were hard to digest and despite the great number of paintings exhibited, the large space was half empty. My friend insisted that we check it out. " You go first ! I say" And the rest was history. I knew I was in for a treat! this studio has every element of New York City. Urban,Busy, Diverse, Colorful, Artsy, Playful. Every artist has their own corner to create their own wall art. It was a collage of some genius visual stimulating creation. I don't think the exhibition is going on any longer but if you're in the area check it out. Its downstairs !! It's free admission and they also sell cool art work too!

Eveything was really nice, the lights were really beautiful since it was a hot day out when i went so the dark room with a bunch of lights was incredible. This is a place where people come to take photos with a good background, most of the people there were mostly taking photois since its really instagramable! Make sure not to block the way or touch any of the lights! It's free so why not go to a place with pretty backgrounds?

It currently has on display primarily a variety of rocks in multiple shapes and sizes. As you observe the rocks, some of them have physical appearances that are similar to everyday items. For example, a boulder from Brazil looks similar to a waffle. In addition to rocks, other artifacts such as a wall socket, glass bottle, and ceramic pot shards are also in the gallery.   There is even a miniature television screen inside the museum. A gift shop is conveniently located in the right corner. Feel free to purchase a hard cover book for $40 or donate $5 or more for the poster. Even if you don't buy anything, make a $5 recommended donation to show your support. (This is a suggested amount and you may contribute any amount you desire). QR code donations or cash are accepted.
