Never got checked on after the meal was served or asked if we wanted more drink. Cute and clean ambiance inside with beautiful tables and decor. Food: My brother and I split a brisket meal that came with 2 sides of which we chose hand cut fries and jalapeño coleslaw. It also came with a small cornbread. The brisket was ok but had a lot of hard pieces on it especially the ends. The fries were good. The coleslaw was okay but I wasn't a fan of the jalapeño flavor. The cornbread was dry. My mom ordered a special of the day, a grilled turkey, basil and blueberry sandwich. It sounded good in theory but it had too much sweet blueberry topping and not enough savory basil so the proportions were way off but not a bad idea. Just needs a little tweaking. All in all for this particular area this restaurant is decent, but for the price I personally would make something myself. Probably best for a burger and beer.

What a unique place! We were here as a Harvest Host camper and came in for dinner & drinks. The…read morepeanut butter stout was not our favorite, but the frozen hard cider was the BOMB! Food was plentiful - we had the bacon cheeseburger & the pulled pork Philly steak and both were delicious! The fries?? Oh my gosh! I'm not a huge fry person, but these went home with me!! Nice people either way a cool concept establishment. If you're in the area, go here!

Definitely a spot where you could linger for a while. Food-wise, we ordered the fried rice with crispy chicken (breaded in crushed Cheerios--yes, Cheerios, and yes, surprisingly delicious!), the bánh mì, and the crispy chicken sandwich, which ended up being the star of the show. Every bite of that sandwich was perfectly seasoned, crunchy, and satisfying. We upgraded our side to the greens, which came topped with some mysterious orange ingredient--maybe a grated carrot dressing? Whatever it was, it was scrumptious. We also ordered a side of pickles, which were surprisingly affordable and so flavorful that they disappeared fast. We didn't try any drinks, but the menu had plenty of interesting options to choose from. One of my favorite parts of the experience was how family-friendly the place felt: while we waited, the kids grabbed a new-to-us game (The Enchanted Forest) from the board game shelves, which made the time fly by. Service was attentive and friendly without hovering, and overall we had a fantastic experience. If we lived closer, this would be a regular lunch spot for sure!

The ambiance is dim and quiet, but they were happy to have us. My 4 year old used colored pencils on coloring sheets we brought with us. For babies and small kids, they have ingelisa chairs that clip on the high tables and I was concerned about the high chairs for our 4 year old but it was fine. She devoured her entire meal(chicken tenders) and a half of our 1 year olds' (they have a kids menu with chicken tenders, grilled peanut butter and fluff, noodles with butter, hot dog..). The service was fast and great. While I am vegetarian and my spouse is gluten free, we are always pleasantly surprised when we both find delicious food. I loved the general tso's poboy with cauliflower and tofu. I wish there was more cauliflower since my 1 year old took many of those pieces. My spouse got something with "pulled pork and quinoa" and he said it was very good too.

The sandwiches were fantastic, and hot coffee hit the spot on the rainy drizzly day that it was. Umbrella in hand, we walked the town and came back to the cafe for more coffee and to get snacks to go. Everything was so tasty and the old world charm truly makes it a delightful experience. The old counter, the cute tables and chairs, everything was so perfect... just the type of place I love. I can't wait to go back!

There are two counters: you can order ice cream from the first counter near the main entrance, and sandwiches and salads and baked goods from the cafe counter in the back. The ice cream is mostly Hershey's but they currently have one housemade gelato and one sorbetto that rotates. The ice cream counter also has novelty candy and ice cream for sale, but if you go in back to the cafe counter, they have higher quality locally produced and imported candies along with other pantry stuff like jam and tea. I've stopped here a few times. The sandwiches have been fantastic (globe sandwich and Moroccan wrap). The carrot cake was just okay, a little dry if I remember correctly, but the coconut custard pie I tried this time was perfect and not too sweet or heavy. They also do a good (and pretty big) malt milkshake. Service is fast enough and generally friendly.
