I love this place. They have the best menu, no matter what time of day it is. I always get a Belgium Waffle for breakfast and a Burger for dinner. Got some pork for dinner one time and it was great for a restaurant. They have great milkshakes and desserts. Service is always good, sometimes it takes a while to get someone to come over but it usually doesn't take long. Lots of booths and regular chairs. Their bathrooms are kinda small but it works. Overall, great restaurant if you are looking for a good dining experience. read more

Quick service. Simple meals. Love their veggie omelet, I get it for dinner a lot. The English muffin bread is good too.

While I am sure they have some good home cooking, our experience was less than satisfactory. Hot roast beef sandwich was warm at best and the quality of the beef was subpar. I asked for my coleslaw in a to go container and instead it was in a bowl sitting on top of my food dripping down over it. I don't like coleslaw but was taking it home for my husband. And all this could have been overlooked if the waitress didn't have attitude about everything. She slammed dishes down and was in such a hurry she spilled harvard beets on some poor lady next to us. I normally tip 30% or more but I just couldn't leave anything. Everyone has a bad day but if this is the norm for her they need to get rid of her as she makes the restaurant look bad. First time and probably the last time there. And we do frequent the area. read more

Wow, can these people sling some hash! We almost didn't stop on Father's Day as the parking lot was jammed but we walked in and the service was swift and extraordinary. Pricing was fantastic and the pancakes and eggs were some of the best ever. Do not miss this stopover. We won't! read more

Went here tonight and the three of us ordered Beef vegetable soup. All three were Cold. Waitress brought three new ones and they were Cold. All three of us had good dinners but the sides were all room temperature or cold , corn , mashed potatoes and Gravy Cold. I actually felt bad for the waitress was not her fault but she should check after the first 3 cold soups. read more

Old school Pennsylvania roadside diner. How do I know this? They serve Scrapple. Yes Scrapple. What is Scrapple you ask? It is what it is.... I opted not to have the Scrapple but instead enjoyed a very full homemade breakfast in a time capsule that warmly reminded me of my childhood. Came based on recommendations from locals. Definitely a local PA feel with wood panel walls. Easy off and on from 15. We both got the eggs and meat breakfast. We chose the ham. I got poached eggs that were over cooked. What makes this place special is the homemade bread. My wife enjoyed it. They have white bread as well as English muffin. I went May 20, 2021 around 10:30 am. Nice little diner, my server was excellent. The cook is horrible. I went for breakfast and ordered 2 eggs over easy, shedded potatoes, and bacon extra crispy. The eggs were overdone and the bacon was barely cooked - very limp and parts were not cooked. The shedded potatoes were barely cooked. They were NOT busy so that's not an excuse. This was a wonderful little diner we found on our long drive back to Buffalo from Pennsylvania....the staff was great, the food was wonderful, and the peach-blueberry pie was absolutely amazing!!! Good wait staff and coffee for breakfast. When it's busy you may have time ask for a coffee refill. Breakfast can sometimes be a little greasy, but the sausage gravy and biscuits never lets me down. read more

Haven't been there in quite a while. The last couple of time we were there they should have told us that they were out of the corned beef and cabbage. Very few vergetables and not one piece of meat. Just a bowl of broth. Another time the chicken and biscuits tasted like it was canned chicken in a tasteless yellow canned gravy. Haven't been back there in maybe 2 years and don't plan to go again. It used to be great food, I don't know what has happened there. read more

This is literally the worst meal I've had in 6 months. The salad bar looks awful, tastes super bland with runny watery ranch, but the cottage cheese was good though. Had spaghetti with pulled pork cheesy fries, and my dad had a grilled cheese. Spaghetti was the worst I've ever had, I'd much rather have chef boy rd, the cheesy fries was just nasty, definitely everything I ate came out of a can. The grilled cheese was bland, best thing they had there was cottage cheese, the sliced pickles and the side of chips that came with the grilled cheese. I don't recommend read more

We ended up at Eddie's by pulling off a random exit on our way home from Niagara Falls. We were told by a man at a local gas station to go there. It's a "hole in the wall" place that was full when we walked in. Although I'm sure by our experience that the fullness was due to lack of options rather than quality. We both ordered "Eddie's Special" which is a cheese burger with LTO and mayo. It was okay. Truthfully, we would have gotten the same quality food and service at the Wendy's up the road, and spent less money. The waitress didn't make eye contact, asked us what we wanted, gave us our food and asked if we were okay (immediately after putting the plates down) - when we said yes, she dropped the check and that was that. read more

A frequent run for us is from Buffalo to Philadelphia which brings is down route 99 through Mansfield. A few trips ago we needed an emergency stop and stumbled upon Eddies. It has now become a regular part of our planned trips through the area. The food really does seem much more home cooked. It's delicious, good quick service at a good price. The staff is very friendly, the food is delicious, the portions are great, and the price is just right. Very nice place to get a great sit down meal. We've been here on two occasions so far. The "Black gold" steaks here are delicious. Most tender steak I've had in a long time, and cooked perfectly to order both times. (So good, I had to order it the second time we were there!) The onion rings were good as well, and everyone else at the table was satisfied with their meal. The only big complaint I have is, the second time we were there we got a nightmare waitress. We were all nice and polite to her, and she was very rude and acted as if she had a personal vendetta against everyone there. She didn't re-fill our drinks once, forgot half of the sides that we ordered, didn't give us steak knives, and only checked on us when she brought the bill at the end of our meal. She went in the back room and didn't come back out until it was time to bring the bill around, so we were unable to get her attention for any of the things we needed. read more
