Okay people! If you are getting married in the Big bear/ San Bernardino Mountains then you need to do yourselves a favor and hire Dream 2 table. This review is long over due, because I honestly want to do everything within my power to support this team. Lauren Creed was the caterer to my wedding (and the owner of Dream2Table) and she, along with her killer staff, did a flawless job with everything involving food and table set up. On top of that Lauren is the most down to earth, fun loving and kind person to talk to during the hectic process of preparing for the most expensive and elaborate party of our lives (because lets face it, thats what a good wedding is all about). Now if you're just looking for some positive reviews you can stop here, but if you want a detailed account of why i think Lauren and her team are so awesome, read on... I recently got married in the Big Bear Mountains at a little bed and Breakfast called Gold Mountain Manor (a spectacular venue if your looking). My fiance at the time and I were looking for a particular style of food on a fairly tight budget. Mexican Japanese fusion food isn't exactly the easiest to tackle. We seriously talked to 3 caterers after doing A LOT of research, none of which were Dream 2 Table. One of them had an amazing menu for us, but was way out of our budget, and the other caterer had really good vibes and said they were willing to work with us on our ideal 'Mexican Japanese fusion' menu. So we went with the latter because they had an easy going vibe and were in our budget. Turns out this caterer was not the right fit for us, it was REALLY hard to get a timely response from this business, and they kept changing their can do attitude to, you should just stick to our already prepared standard all American menu. Lots of things went wrong with this caterer that caused a lot of unnecessary stress, but I wont bore you with those details. In the end, this other caterer was not on their A game with us, so we cut our losses and found ourselves in desperate need of another caterer, fast. It's at this time our venue Manager at Gold Mountain Manor recommended we talk to a lovely woman by the name Lauren Creed; who had been doing large party catering for years, and recently started her own business. THANK THE UNIVERSE!!!! I quickly saw with Lauren that she actually cared about her presentation, our input, and the food! From the very beginning, Lauren asked questions that let me know how much care she was putting into my wedding, and more than that she was just a delight to talk to. I genuinely felt like she was my friend helping me bring together an amazing dinner set up. None of the problems I had with the previous caterer were present with Lauren, she was always willing to help and make suggestions while also more than happy to receive feedback. You can tell right away that this woman cares about what she does, and wants to make sure her clients/ friends feel good about everything. Out of all the services we hired for our wedding, which were all pretty awesome, Lauren and her team at Dream 2 Table were the most fun to work with and maybe, probably, my absolute favorite (shhh don't tell the others). Seriously, all the vendors were pretty close to perfect, so that is some serious competition. If you ask around enough in the big bear lake area, all the good vendors know each other, and I heard nothing but good things about Lauren when her name came up during the wedding planning. Turns out this is for a good reason. I consider Lauren Creed a friend now, and can't wait to watch her business flourish and become a huge success, which I see as inevitable. OMG so, I knew i didn't want to wakeup at the butt crack of dawn and start making breakfast for everyone on my wedding day, so i stumbled upon Dream 2 Tables instagram, and emailed her a fun brunch grazing table idea, and she ran with it, and created us a yummy spread to snack on the morning of our wedding ! She came with 2 assistants who cooked, prepped, cleaned, and cut everything right there at our airbnb! I felt like we had a personal chef for a minute ! We snacked on some bomb apple bacon brie, mini parfaits, and a bunch of other foods! It was awesome ! Lauren was an absolute pleasure to be around, she is so kind and sweet! Lauren & her team were impeccable. We were doing a quick weekend trip and wanted to do something special. Our Bride to be is quite a foodie so we decided to look into a private chef to cater. We LITERALLY could not have asked for a better crew, Lauren is a goddess and everything from her lasagna, to smoothies, alcoholic mixed drinks, breakfast, charcuterie boards, and crab/seafood broils were phenomenal! Lauren and her team are absolutely amazing!! I can not say enough great things about Dream 2 Table. If you have any sort of food needs in Big Bear, you NEED them. Lauren helped set up catering for our rehearsal dinner and our wedding day, which was all planned pretty last minute due to all the crazy COVID wedding situations. We even had to change our ceremony location a few days before our wedding and Lauren sent us so many recommendations of places to look at, which had nothing to do with what we hired her for. She and her team went above and beyond just catering, and our day would not have been complete without them. We also had a little scheduling conflict throughout the evening, and they were more than happy to work around it and stay a few extra hours. Their flexibility, professionalism, and overall positive, supportive vibes and work ethic made our night perfect. Working with Dream 2 Table truly felt like working with close friends and we could not be happier with how everything turned out. Also, I didn't say this earlier, but all the food was so delicious!!
