Augustino Vineyard and Winery, Obrien, OR - September 28, 2024…read more This is the third Harvest Host vineyard and winery we've been to. So far, we're batting a thousand - all great experiences. This is another great place to park your RV for a night or two, enjoy some nice scenery, try some good wine, and just hang out if it suits your fancy. The communication with the Harvest Host was good. We were given good instructions to find the winery off of Highway 199. As you're driving in on Gene Brown Road you'll come to two signs, one says Tasting Room with an arrow pointing straight ahead, the other sign says Harvest Host with an arrow pointing to the left. You turn left there and drive short ways in. On the right hand side you'll see the sites 9 through 12. You pick an empty spot and get set up. We stayed in site 12 the first night. It's a very spacious site with a picnic table and nice trees overhead. Once we got our site set up and we drove up to the winery and tasting room, which is about a half a mile away. It is a very cool treehouse tasting room. It has both an indoor seating area as well as a beautiful outdoor patio with about seven or eight tables. Our hostess's name was Angel. She was very friendly and set us up with some nice flights of wine. Wines are reasonably priced in the $25-$36 range. We tried a Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Temprano, and Cabernet Savignon. All the wines were very nicely done. The tasting fee is $12 per person, which is waived with a two bottle purchase. We ended up getting two bottles of Chardonnay. Angel gave us some good advice about things to do while we were in the area. We went to Cave Junction the following day after we moved our motorhome to a full hook up paid site a little closer to the tasting room. After visiting Cave Junction, we went over to the tasting room again at around three in the afternoon and had a nice bottle of Pinot Grigio and enjoyed it on the elevated outdoor patio. The view of the property from the full hook up paid sites is very nice. You can see the vineyard and then the beautiful tree covered mountains in the distance. We were very happy with our stay here.

This place deserves 6 stars . Especially since it was the only wine I enjoyed in the region. Truly…read moreamazing from this sonoma county pinot guy. One of the best wineries I've been too and I grew up in wine country and have been to hundreds. Beyond Impressive. The tasting room is a flipping treehouse. This is the one place you go in Southern Oregon if your tasting and I would go last. Don't miss this place. Wish i had bought a full case and not a half but we planned on buying elsewhere that day but sadly nope . Only this place was in the league imo.

The setting alone is worth the visit. Peaceful, scenic, and perfect for slowing down. Their soups and small snacks pair beautifully with the wine flights, making it easy to settle in and enjoy a relaxed tasting experience. During the summer months, the frozen wine options are a refreshing bonus on warm days. With indoor, outdoor, and riverside seating available, there's no bad seat on the property. Whether you're a local or visiting Southern Oregon, Red Lily is a must-stop winery that delivers on atmosphere, wine, and experience.

I love a good jammy red, a bold cab, cab Franc, syrahs (in general). I've had a few Tempranillos that I've enjoyed, but not here. Maybe pour them through a Venturi or something to get the bitterness out and soften the tannins. The tasting (4 wines) was $12 per person. The average bottle on the tasting menu was $42. I didn't even finish my tasting *personal preference* The grounds are beautiful, looks like a great place for a picnic. Their mocktails were much better than the wine! The basil lavendar lemonade was my favorite thing, besides the beautiful views :)

Had a very lovely visit here. Their parking lot/area is adequate. The grounds are gorgeous, with…read moreample outdoor seating. They offer table service for each pour, as opposed to just giving you a flight with the list of wines on a card. Mike was working the day we went in, and he was great to talk with. Their main building is very lovely, with lots of nice touches. Bottom line: I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. (One negative item was their prices. The flight was $25, where at other places down the road it's just $10 for a flight.)

The wines were all good. Obviously liked some more than others. I personally appreciate and prefer biodynamic wines. I just think they have better flavor. I'm not a wine snob, but Troon is Demeter Biodynamic and Regenerative Organic Gold Certified (only one of four in the world). The Amphora Amber Vermentino (orange) was good and the Tannat was awesome. They do small batch so many of the reds had already sold out. Our server, Kitty, was incredibly knowledgeable about the wines, the process, and the uniqueness of each variety. We were blown away! She paced the tastings perfectly. We weren't waiting too long in between and we also didn't feel rushed. I didn't take pictures, but the outdoor lawn area is wonderful.
