This is a small and intimate venue, with a holding area that is perfect to enjoy an aperitif before stepping up a few stairs into the main restaurant to eat. This is by no means cheap and cheerful (although a set lunch at £9.95 for 2 courses is offered - a bargain). It is ideal for a very special meal and has a lovely atmosphere, excellent service and (when I was there last) divine food!

It Was a real shame about the quality of the meat, particularly when they have a top quality butchers a few doors away.
