But, it was a gift and so we contacted Cammo Cleaning. Before CC came, they were friendly on the phone and clear about the pricing, their time to arrive, and what they would be doing. On the day of cleaning, CC arrived early, was very friendly, and did a great job top-to-bottom on the cleaning. We had CC focus especially on the floors (carpets & tile) that run throughout the house. CC listened attentively as we walk around the house and then spent the next few hours working without us in the house. When finished, my wife inspected and the house was indeed very clean -- her style clean -- it smelled great (very clean & fresh!!), and she was even more impressed with CC because the carpet & tile floors looked good as new (possibly as good as when we first moved in 4+ years ago). One bedroom with very light, low pile carpet had areas stained treated that did not come totally clean, and areas that appeared clean immediately after cleaning have "reappeared" in exactly the same place/size in a matter of a few weeks. This carpet has the "waterproof backing", so perhaps that's a factor? Not sure, But I will go back to steam cleaning for that room after one try with Chem-Dry.

We later learned the cleaners (the owner is one of them) never showed up, which cost us money and time as we had to reschedule showings and even lost potential buyers. Worst of all they did not alert us that they were not coming- we asked how the cleaning went and found out. Because we were already out of state, we had to scramble to find someone else to clean on short notice so our realtor could show the house. Despite their no‑show and the financial impact it caused, the owner refused to issue a refund. Despite trying to remove the spam, I still get spam "promotions" from this co all the time which has reminded me of the poor experience. This was a very bad experience I still get reminded of.
