Not the worst thing, but my house main shutoff valve is the old twist kind and is a little leaky and rusty. I called a few plumbers, but nobody was available. My Monday call to Nathan was returned later the same day and I had my Wednesday appointment. As luck would have it, Nathan called back saying he had an opening on Tuesday. His team came by expecting to cut off the main in my house and simply replace the PRV. Seeing the condition of my main shut off we all agreed that getting Parsippany to cut the water from the street would be the best play. Since Albon is a Parsippany business, his team was able to coordinate the water shut off with the town for Wednesday morning. (Big side THANK YOU to my town of Parsippany water utility...those men work with us residents). Albon handled all the coordination, completed the work quickly, efficiently, and very cost reasonably. We recently called Bertoli to service a bath tub issue. Two maintenance people came and exhibited…read moreabsolutely no idea of what they were doing. In an effort to isolate , what they thought was an additional shut off valve, they proceeded to cut three holes in my ceiling. After not finding what they thought was there they tried to replace the pieces of the ceiling breaking half of them. Needless to say the job was not completed. One week later another maintenance man comes and fixes the issues and wonders why the other two cut my ceiling. He assured us Bertoli would fix the ceilings immediately. The end result is Bertoli office refused to repair any of THEIR damage unless we gave them another $895.00. This company is a disgrace to the township of Rockaway if they can't stand behind their incompetence. UPDATE - it's great to know that Bertoli immediately reached out to us to explain the miscommunication between us and will immediately take care of all issues. I appreciate the Bertoli response once they realized a mistake and poor communication among us was the real issue. Thanks for stepping up to the plate Bertoli.
