The entrance has a small free parking lot right next to the Ritz-Carlton. However, the parking spots are super limited, and by the time we got there around 2pm, it was completely full. Dragon's Teeth is rocky, wearing sneakers are way better than sandals. Overall, this trail is short and easy and the coastal views are stunning and definitely worth adding to your Maui itinerary.

This is a fun short activity. Come prepared for mud, dirt, wet and rocky terrain. It will get cooler and more wet as you approach the teeth and if you continue to go on the rocky path towards the water.

Go past the paid parking area and turn left. There are about 12 free spaces. Wear tennis shoes or hiking boots as there are plenty of jagged edges, toe stubbing ledges, and uneven surfaces. It is windy, wear a hat with a lanyard. Lots to look at! Blow hole, erosion, inlets, etc. Stay hydrated.

Always a nice little hike to the Dragon's Teeth and its surrounding scenery. I felt sad this time after seeing lots of teeth lost due to the weather, high surf, or vandalism. If you have a chance and time, check out the Dragon's Teeth and its surrounding beauty before it's gone.

Nice easy hike with amazing views of Flemming beach. Great hike if you have kids under 10 years old and love dragons. Watch out for sharp jagged rocks. Near a private golf course so watch out for flying golf balls. Free parking nearby which we didn't find until walking through the golf course. If you keep hiking up, you'll find a sacred labyrinth.

We' ve Been before but each time is wonderful. The whole point is where lave flow stopped Eons ago. The crashing surf is breathtaking.

Thanks for the tip about the free parking--see photo for reference. It's a short walk to the Dragon's Teeth trail, and you can use the restrooms at the nearby Honolua Store. This is a quick and scenic hike, but be sure to wear proper shoes for the rocky terrain.

The "teeth"!

It's definitely worth stopping along the coast of Northern Maui to see these special rock formations! Right outside the Ritz Carlton property, follow a downhill path for about 10 minutes which will lead you straight towards the water. The path is a pretty easy walk, starting out as grass and dirt that transitions to bumpy rock, but I'd still suggest wearing sturdy shoes since the rocky part is quite uneven. These "teeth'' were apparently created from lava that was pushed up by the waves and wind into pointed structures as it cooled. It's fascinating to see the layered texture of the rocks up close. Just be aware that it's super windy here! At times, the water would come up over the edge, so you may get splashed a bit if you go up and touch the Teeth. For this relatively easy "hike", the views are very rewarding and unique. I've certainly never been to another place like this. The only thing is that the parking area is on the smaller side, but this isn't a site that requires a ton of time, so people come and go. We spent around 20 minutes enjoying the rocks and beautiful ocean views before heading back to the car.

Pretty spectacular view from this side of the island. Trail was easy but watch out for stray golf balls when you're walking on the trail. Would highly recommend.

Breathtaking view: the rocks are beautifully shaped by nature; the ocean crashes in amazing splashes. One of the prettiest viewpoints in Maui. A must visit!

Super fun area for photos and getting splashed with ocean water. We enjoyed looking for sea snails and seeing crab legs scattered from the birds.

A beautiful view and a really easy and short hike from the free parking lot. If you're in West Maui, have an hour or so, and want to do something a little active, this is the spot. The rocks/cliffs are jagged and very cool and getting sprayed by ocean water after it hits the rocks is just fun!

Super easy hike, beautiful views, the waves were gorgeous to watch and lots of action going on in the ocean! Would highly recommend for an easy hike and stunning views! The rocks are jagged and rough looking, really reminiscent of dragon teeth. The maze adds a nice

As you arrive into the parking lot you just go down on the right side of the golf course and walk about 1/4 mile.

Walked in with my 6 year old daughter right at 5:30 and there was no one in the restaurant, and the asian lady totally ignored us, and the other you g server didn't think she could give us a table. She had to ask the manager. Finally they said we could sit outside. Asked for just a plate of pasta with butter for my daughter, but they said they could only do meatballs and dessert as an option. So I said meatballs on the side and no cheese, but they brought out pasta with tons of cheese and basil and meatballs to my daughter. They charged me $32 for "artisan pasta"! (See the pictures) I ordered the carbonara pasta and received gummy pasta stuck together with no seasoning or bacon. Pretty gross. The "wine list" was a couple of plastic sheets of way overpriced wines bordering on 6-7 times wholesale cost. I wanted to tell people coming in to avoid the place at all costs. It was laughable and frankly embarrassing to see this kind of awful 1980's style food presented like this. AVOID AT ALL COST!

I found Coconut Information and thought it was a great fit because our group loves coconuts! Ryan was so passionate and knowledgeable not only about coconuts but also conservation and sustainability - we were all amazed at the work he put in for his farm. It was so lush with all types of fruit trees and produce - we even saw baby ducks that had hatched just the day before. The experience was a farm tour, educational workshop, coconut tasting, and cooking class all rolled into one. We really enjoyed learning about the multi-faceted coconut and about Ryan's journey with the farm. The coconut noodles he made us were SO GOOD. Seriously blew our minds and can't wait to make it at home and share with others. Truly a fun, inspiring, and educational experience. We couldn't stop raving about it after we left. Ryan even sent us home with a "4-pack" of coconuts so we could have some fresh coconut water for the rest of our trip. Highly recommend - please go check it out!
