This last summer I had gone through a very bad, rough patch (dealing with some major trauma) needless to say I was energetically out of whack! I was blocked and I needed help! I've tried Reiki, before and had always been a bit uncomfortable, but this time it was different. First, her studio is very well designed has a great feeling about it. And Hayley is born healer and a "people person" which made me comfortable. She is very professional, attentive, and patient. She has a positive energy about her and you can tell that her goal is to make you feel better. I've had two sessions and both were super relaxing. I cannot rave enough about my experience with Hayley. I have been going through an incredibly stressful time lately and knew I needed to get balanced. I had been feeling a bit blue, combination of things. I also had been experiencing some shoulder and knee pain. I gave this a shot, as this place was close to where I live. I didn't know much about Reiki, only the peripherals. I was very surprised and felt a difference after just one session. My first contact with Hayley was a phone call. She sounded really nice, warm and inviting. Down to earth, great sense of humor. In person, she was awesome! Easy to talk to, great listener, and gives you great insight and feedback. During the session, with closed eyes, I kept on experiencing a visualization of a deep beautiful iridescent purple in the center of my head. It was great and when we were finished, my shoulder and knee were without pain. I didn't expect it to be so effective. First time getting a reiki and my experience with Hayley was exactly what I was searching. Hayley is amazing! I met with her last night for a reiki session. Before getting started, I filled out some questionnaire and talked to her about my intentions and concerns. She was very attentive, compassionate, and really took the time to ask me questions and understand me. We started the session, and all I can say is that I'm blown away by what she was able to do. I did reiki many years ago, and it was one of those no-touch, hands-off sort that left me feeling, well, unconnected. Haley the reiki practitioner asked if I wanted hands-on or hands-off! I didn't even know there was a choice. I chose hands-on, and what a difference I feel it made. Like come on, who wouldn't want touch?! It's as basic as air and water and that crazy thing called love. Compared to my first experience, where politesse required that I tell my then-practitioner that I was feeling HER energy, this time because I chose hands-on, Haley felt MY energy, and pointed to spots in my body I'd had issues with (shoulder; lower back; my left arm, surprisingly). It was a total re-evaluation of reiki. I'm glad I didn't give up on this practice that does require some vulnerability, some faith, and a belief that I'd be the better for it. My energy has been not so much positive (it has) but more *charged*. I'm dealing with some epic life changing things and this one session has infused me with the deep-down soul energy that I needed. I'll be visiting Haley sooner than later. read more
