I am so very grateful to Dr. Rose and the team at Serenity Holistic Vet. Our girl, Nikka, is a 12…read moreyear old Husky/Shepherd mix and she recently developed some hind leg soreness/stiffness and urinary incontinence. We took her to a conventional vet to rule out UTI/kidney issues and had X rays done to ensure there was nothing grossly abnormal structurally with her bones. Everything checked out and I knew I didn't want to start her on a medication with significant side effects or have her on pain meds indefinitely, so I searched for holistic vets who did acupuncture and was so happy to see Dr. Rose was local to us! . On our first visit, Dr. Rose did a thorough exam of Nikka and informed us that Nikka had an unusual heart murmur. A different vet at a conventional clinic that had seen Nikka just a few weeks earlier also mentioned the heart murmur but said it was very mild/quiet and didn't seem concerned about it all and didn't give us any indication that it needed to be investigated. I thought that the murmur must be no big deal based on how the first vet handled the finding. Dr. Rose immediately told us that Nikka's heart murmur was quite pronounced and unusual sounding and she gave us a lot of info and recommendations on next steps. . Well, today we took Nikka to a cardiologist where she had an ECHO and it turns out she has dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM), which, thankfully, has been caught early and might be able to be improved with medication and dietary changes. . Dr. Rose literally saved Nikka's life with her attention to detail, her excellent clinical skills, and her prompt and informative follow up and recommendations. I will be eternally and forever grateful to her competence and expertise. . Nikka has also had 2 sessions of acupuncture and cold laser/photobiomodulation and she definitely has more pep in her step. Nikka also loves coming to Serenity Holistic Vet, she isn't anxious or nervous and just settles right down and relaxes when the acupuncture needles are in. Dr. Rose is a gem and we are so lucky to have her here in Murrieta.

She utilizes holistic techniques such as chiropractic work, acupuncture, and cold laser. I'm a firm believer of using other remedies other than western medicine (I.e. PILLS.) she also can do diet consultations to help your pup either gain or lose weight. Dr. Rose and her staff are very friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. They take pride in keeping a warm/welcoming and clean environment for you and your fur baby. Pricing is very fair considering most traditional vets will just opt for your pet to get surgery or crappy pharmaceuticals rather than more natural remedies. Definitely recommend coming here if your dog has joint problems and/or other problems. If you're looking for a place that will hit the root cause of the problem with natural treatments and you are also willing to put your share of the work in for your pets therapy then most definitely try out Serenity Holistic Vet. Remember though, it's a process for your pets therapy. Nothing of lasting results happens over night!

Eventually she started having seizures and cognitive decline. Friday night she couldn't walk after a seizure. I looked for less expensive options but 2 weeks out was too long for Lola. So, I reached out to Tranquil Tails and they responded within an hour and scheduled us for the next day. I unfortunately didn't make note of their names, but they quietly knocked on our door as my family sat around feeding Lola some whip cream and chocolate. They came in and calmly explained what was going to happen and lengths of time. After they gave her the sedative they walked away for 10 minutes to give us our last moments with her. Moments after the last medication was provided, she was at peace. We are so thankful we found Tranquil Tails to provide such a calming experience for Lola and our family. And the price, well worth the amount of peace to say goodbye to Lola in our own home on our own terms.

I messaged them through their website on a Friday afternoon and less than 10m, they reached out to me. They were able arrive to my house the following morning to perform Home-Euthanasia. Dr.Conner and her assistant were very respectful and performed the procedure with compassion. They explained the procedure step by step. This was my first home-euthanasia. I truly recommend Tranquil Tails Veterinary Services to say goodbye their loved pets in the most respectful way. This was the last gift I could give my dog who shared 14 years of my life: to say goodbye in the best way possible way, leaving Earth in a stress free environment, surrounded by his loved ones. They are always super responsive and incredibly accommodating. I really appreciate that they text me ahead of time within their arrival window so I can plan around errands or make sure I'm home -- that level of communication alone sets them apart. During visits, I never feel rushed. They truly take their time and meet Dory where she's at. Sometimes Dory can be a little anxious with acupuncture, and instead of forcing anything, we work together to find different ways to make the session as calm and stress-free as possible. The vet is open, honest, and collaborative -- I never feel upsold or pressured into anything. The results have been amazing. I noticed a huge improvement even after the very first (mini) session. Dory is 13 years old, and her hind legs had been very tight and clearly bothering her. Since starting acupuncture every two weeks, her hind legs look so much better. She's running up the stairs again, pulling me on walks, and even jumped off the bed last week -- things I honestly didn't expect to see again. What I also really value is that Sunnyside Vet works with my regular vet. They communicate, listen to what my primary vet has to say, and truly function as a team with one goal: doing what's best for Dory. They were also very honest about treatment frequency, explaining that some pets need less and some need more, which I appreciated. If you're even considering acupuncture or mobile veterinary care, I highly recommend at least calling Sunnyside Vet for an initial visit. They've made such a positive difference in my older baby's quality of life, and I'm incredibly grateful.

I wouldn't recommend this vet. They were nice and polite, however what happened with my senior…read moredog's care was unacceptable. My dog has a UTI and we were prescribed Amoxi/Clav based on culture results. I told Dr Miyata we had an existing bottle in the fridge from a prior emergency visit. I sent a picture, and she approved us using it. It had been reconstituted 24 days earlier (dispense date was in the picture), but since it was refrigerated and the vet said it was okay, I trusted her guidance. When I went to the pharmacy for a refill, I was told that liquid Amoxi/Clav expires 10 days after reconstitution, even in the refrigerator. So that means that my dog received ineffective medication this entire time. If I hadn't picked up a refill, I would never have known. When I notified the vet, she said she was "under the impression the bottle wasn't reconstituted." Huh?! But in the picture, the medication was clearly a liquid suspension, refrigerated, labeled "shake well," and had the dispense date. I have NEVER been dispensed Amoxi/Clav in powder form in my life. The explanation felt more like avoiding responsibility than acknowledging what happened. My dog is extremely fragile with CKD. We cannot afford delays or ineffective medication. This isn't about whether the outcome changes; it's about basic medical standards. You don't throw a lifejacket with holes to someone who's drowning just because they're already drowning. Expired or ineffective medication should never be approved. This felt negligent and dismissive, and that's why I can't trust this vet. I get that mistakes happen -- maybe she didn't look at the picture closely. We're all human. But what matters is owning them, being transparent, and correcting them. Instead, I was met with an explanation that didn't make sense at all and minimized what happened.
