Dan has considerable irrigation system experience based on his commercial work with golf courses. He understands common failure modes based on the age and type of parts and materials used in irrigation systems. He also understands local soil composition and its role in irrigation systems. His work was high quality and his price was reasonable.

I was also having an issue with the drip line in my sprinkler system. He was able to find the problem quickly and fixed it at a good price. The issues we had are related to the copper pipe work. I would not recommend him for those types of jobs. On his first trip to our house, he left such a downward angle in the piping that I wouldn't be able to drain all of the water out in the fall. He agreed to come out and correct the issue. On his second visit, he redid the pipe work but somehow made everything worse. There was still a downward slope on the inlet pipe to the backflow preventer (see picture), and the outflow pipe was now crooked. I ended up paying another company to come out and correct his mistakes. I would recommend Dan for poly pipe problems. I would NOT recommend him for any copper pipe work. I don't think that's his area of expertise.

But they do so much more! We have a really big backyard without having land, about 1/3 of an acre. We had a terrible sprinkler system installed by the previous owner that was truly a joke on covering our grass. A couple years ago, the worst sod company ever (Stay Fresh Lawn Services - never use them), did an absolutely terrible job extending our sprinkler system. Enter Alfredo, our lawn's sprinkler savior. I got three different quotes and plans on how to make our system work with our six zones that actually work. Alfredo's was not only the smartest plan, it was the least disruptive, required the fewest new parts, and it provided efficient coverage of our entire lawn. It was also priced better. About 70% of our lawn used to roast and turn yellow in the summer. With Alfredo's sprinkler design and installation, about 98% of our lawn was green through the whole summer. It was and is unreal. He showed up when he said he would every day, provided realistic expectations, and let me know what he was doing when plans changed or when he thought of a better way to do something. He made the project fun to be a part of, and he takes a lot of pride in doing it right. We found our sprinkler people for as long as Alfredo is a part of Action. We love this business!

Had a broken sprinkler head that needed fixing, so I called Kaizen Irrigation. First off, they took…read morelonger than expected to come out - that was frustrating. When you have a busted head and water is shooting everywhere, you want someone there yesterday, not next Tuesday. The price was reasonable, though, I'll give them that. The technician knew what he was doing and got the head fixed pretty quickly once he arrived. What I appreciated was that he also took the time to adjust my Rachio controller settings without me even asking. That was a nice touch since most irrigation guys fix the immediate problem and bolt. The work itself was solid - no complaints there. The new head is working perfectly and hasn't given me any issues since. It's just that initial response time that knocked them down from what could've been a 4-star experience. Would I call them again? Probably, but I'd plan next time instead of treating it like an emergency. If you're not in a rush and want decent work at a fair price, they'll get the job done.

He stood me up time and time again and I'm done so that I gave him 6 weeks and then he had my system on a timer on his phone only he can work and now he forgot to turn the backyard on and burnt my yard that I just paid 19,000 for in the back and it's all burned up very irresponsible. I would only recommend maybe a sprinkler blowout but no big jobs. He never came back to put the system on my phone or to show me what kind of system it was nothing I was out of town. He told my husband when I got back. He would put it on my phone, I've waited six weeks and I'm done waiting.
