I havent been here in years but when I had gone with my daughter I remember it being a really nice farm to visit. The nursery and garden was filled with pumpkins and fall flowers since we went in the Fall and it was decorated for Halloween. There were so many activities for children who were a bit older than my child at the time, but my daughter seemed to still enjoy our outing for the day. We ended up buying pumpkins and visiting the small petting zoo that they had which was very cool. Besides the fun activities, they also sell a lot of things for your garden, as well as outdoor and indoor decor for your home. The staff was helpful with any questions about pricing that I had and helped me find anything that I was looking for. I plan to come back here again this Fall and check out if anything had changed since the last time I brought my daughter. read more

Holy Moly ! I drive past this farm pretty often but I finally got a chance to stop in for the first time and it blew my mind away. I thought it would just be another ordinary small garden shop ( looks small from the outside ) where you could pick up a few plants. If you enjoy gardening or have a passion for plants - you will be on cloud nine as soon as you enter! -HUGE selection of healthy plants & flowers even well into the brisk month of October -Everything you could possibly need for gardening from pots, tools, garden decor, antiques etc.. -They have two large "green room" like sections in the back with rows and rows of fresh and healthy plants of all kinds. -Calm, relaxing music playing in the background as you take a heavenly stroll throughout the store -Ample parking space -Carts that you can borrow if you'll be carrying multiple plants back to your car -Affordable prices even for large plants They even have what looked like a small pumpkin patch / corn maze type of set up on the left side of the garden for kids as a little fall activity. There was a sign that read $3-$5 for admission. But the garden itself is absolutely free to walk through. Even if you don't plan on gardening - this is a cute spot to pick up some plants for your home indoor or outdoors or even just a nice spot to walk through for 10 minutes of R&R. read more

the Love I have for this place is like no other garden center. i was greeted with love, thoughtfulness, care and absolute high level passion and horticultural knowledge. it was just the experiences I needed to create an ever evolving vision for a backyard and front yard for a house I was sitting at. Over 3 weeks, my creative inspiration and design background was met with horticultural passion. I gained an understanding of horticultural that I never knew I could couple with my design background and create. Maria, the horticulturalist on staff there is like a garden angel with her mentorship and coaching she naturally, passionately provides as you discuss your creation and intentions. she let me happily play with laying out my creations for all my spaces so I could see it all before purchasing. That alone saved me hours when I went to actually plant. Maria happily met me in my design creativity and only supported me with her passion and horticulture knowledge. she was nothing but encouraging, engaging and supportive. Maria is a real asset to have on staff. They have a depth and breath of variety of plants and many local to the area and anything can be ordered at your request. My favorite of all is the "dead grass" no one seems to understand. It brings my creations the grounding they need. i received such deep mother earth therapy I didn't know I needed through this beautiful experience. By far the most helpful and knowledgeable and approachable garden center in the area. Don't be intimidated by gardening or plants, Maria has you with all the knowledge and support you could ever need to create beautiful garden landscapes. This nursery and garden store replaced a long standing similar business in this community. That business was highly respected and frequented, and this business does a great job living up to that legacy. I am temped to say that they may have even improved it a bit. I shop here at least a few times each year, Spring, mid Summer and sometimes around Christmas. There are plenty of plants to choose from, and they always do well for me. I really like the fact that they discount annuals sometime in mid July so you can replace earlier flowering plants. Inside the store is a decorator's dream. Many crafty and rustic pieces to spruce up your spaces. They also use these items to create unique arrangements if so desired. There are also many gift items that probably appeal more to children or the women in your life. If you are relying on big box chain stores for your planting needs, you are missing out on a really good local option. And one that may surprise you when you explore the interior. this place is nothing less than perfect! It looks small from the outside but boy does it have an excellent selection of indoor and outdoor plants. I was surprised at the different kinds of cactus, pothos, bird of paradise, elephant ears, wandering dudes, basically anything you could want or think of. They also had a great range of pots, planters, and hanging baskets. Also fun, festive decorations for you to spruce up your home or garden! I thought the prices were extremely fair for the quality of plant your getting and the houseplants have flat rates based on the size of the pot! This place is my spring and fall stop for whatever I need in the garden. The staff is awesome, the atmosphere is quirky and fun. The selection is wide and I've never had one of their seedlings die on me even with minimal care. Ok, this is likely a 5-star establishment, but I'm a master gardener and find that I'm always just a little disappointed that they don't have a few of the things I'm looking for - primarily different varieties of sedum. Often they have none, and if they do have some, it's not what I'm looking for (I'm always searching for new, interesting, low-growing, ground cover types and am tired of ordering them online). Now that's out of the way: I LOVE THIS PLACE. Caps are intentional because the sentiment is heartfelt and enthusiastic. Other than my sedum dilemma -- and maybe I'm just fussy?? -- Dragonfly Farms has a wonderful selection of well-tended, healthy, lovely plants. And, their prices are competitive too. I would have thought they'd be more expensive than the garden centers at the big box stores, but in many instances, depending on species, Dragonfly Farms has the lower price. I always wind up getting more plants than intended because they just look so good here. And when I think I'm all done selecting my plants, I go inside to pay, and I'm floored by what they have in there. First, the shop, like Doctor Who's Tardis, is way bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside. I recall the first time I shopped here: it was a sunny day, and I was heading to the register with my cart, and it took a second for my eyes to adjust to the light inside. But when they did, I stopped in my tracks, mouth agape, awestruck. I asked an employee if I could leave my cart tucked off to the side so I could explore. "Sure!" she said. I wandered around, slowly, in wonderment, taking it all in -- there are many rooms, filled with a large assortment statuary, creative reuse of common items (dresser drawers as shelves!), wind chimes, colorful birdhouses, more plants, flags, toys, tools, containers, etc, etc, etc. It has the feel of a well-kept arboretum rather than a store. Stunning work. It is definitely worth a trip to Dragonfly Farms at least once, but possibly more, each season. You'll find everything you're looking for (well, except sedum!! :) ), and you'll come away with so much inspiration, to boot. read more

I don't even know where to start!! I am obsessed with this store!!!! Amazing indoor and outdoor decor. Their holiday displays are like no other! Eclectic, unusual, rustic, gorgeous items I can't find anywhere else! Large metal star, birch balls of almost 2 foot circumference, speckled poinsettias, holiday decorations made from everything from shiny metal to twigs, bunches of fresh evergreen, gorgeous wreaths and ribbon, and lots more! They also have anything you can think of for outdoor gardening - urns, pottery, stepping stones, and gorgeous, healthy indoor and outdoor plants! Staff are always helpful and very knowledgeable. This place is very unique to the area. For every holiday they are decorated to the tenth degree and it always looks great. They have a lot of cool and unique merchandise, aside from the plants and flowers they sell.
