Our favorite Chinese restaurant in Desoto county. We've never had a problem with our order. Our food is done in a timely manner also. The employee interaction is very limited, but they are professional. We've tried so much on the menu and it's all pretty good. Some more than others. The fried rice and noodles have good flavor. It's kind of like a little hole in the wall place. So my only issue is that it's to go orders only, but so is every other Chinese restaurant. read more

Sometimes a restaurant does a particular thing or two better than most others. There are places we go when we want a certain dish that is not "rare" or "exclusive" but just "right". You've ordered it at many a restaurant but it wasn't as good as when you get it at this one spot. For beef with broccoli and Mongolian beef, Dragon Concourse is the restaurant to go to for my family. I love their chicken with broccoli as well and their french fries but nothing else on the menu stands out to me to recommend highly. My son is away at college in St. Louis now but would eat beef with broccoli everyday from Dragon Concourse and actually tried to when he was in high school! My son loves to try various cuisines and having visited St. Louis often while in marching band before college had St. Louis at the top of his list of cities in which to attend college. There is a huge diversity of ethnic cuisine in St. Louis. He's in his 3rd year and I visit him often. He always takes me out eat since he knows I enjoy a diversity of ethnic cuisine as well. I frequently hear him say this, "Dad this place is fantastic. I really like their food BUT their beef with broccoli isn't as good as The Dragon." He is on a quixotic quest to find a restaurant that makes a better beef with broccoli than Dragon Concourse. It's the way Dragon Concourse prepares and cooks the beef that is the difference maker. That's why the Mongolian beef is so delicious too. It melts in your mouth and is flavorful and juicy; lean and tender. This endeavor has distilled to a short hand in my house. "Last night I rode The Dragon." "Do you want to ride The Dragon?" "Dad, can we ride The Dragon today?" "Dad, can we ride The Dragon tomorrow?" Or my new friend, "Honey can we ride The Dragon Tonight?" According to the context, the previous statements mean you did, are, will or would like to eat beef with broccoli from Dragon Concourse. I visited my son in St. Louis the week before he went on Spring Break with his friends. He took me to a restaurant he had been meaning to try. A wonderful family run Chinese cuisine restaurant that was very nicely decorated with huge and delicious portions made to order. We did not coordinate but both ordered beef with broccoli. After our extremely enjoyable repast, I say, "Sun was that better than The Dragon?" He says, "Was it to you?" We answer each other at the same time. "NO!" You know, during this pandemic I was so sad to see Dragon Concourse close for I don't even know how long. Probably a month. I saw their open sign when driving by Sams and called in an order. I wasn't sure if they got my order right but it was perfect. Pick up only during this time. I went in to get the food and pay. They had completely redone their front desk with clear protective wall, blocked the door to the kitchen, all wearing medical grade masks, and added a camera. Placed a pickup order tonight and picked it up as usual. Of course the place does not look like it has been cleaned since before we started ordering from them over a year ago. The kitchen had food cooked and not covered or kept at a proper temperature, it appeared to be fried chicken chunks. The stove where they use wok cooking was filthy and had stuff stored on it. The people that are staffing this place now are not the same as when we started going there except for 1 person. At any given time there are children under 15 in the kitchen area which is unsafe for them and possibly cause cross contamination of food, the health department really needs to check this place out. Of course they need to do it when the least expect it on a weekend night. The main reason for this review is the food I ordered was not good at all, I ordered fried dumplings and they were burnt and cold believe it or not and the rest of the food was bland with no flavor. I called to voice my issues with my order and one of the young girls answered the phone and was no help at all, acted like she could not speak English when I told her we would never do business with them again, she had the nerve to say "whatever" and hung up the phone. I called back and asked to speak to the owner and handed off to a male that claimed to be the manager that could barely speak our language and he acted like my issues were of no concern and said the owner never comes there, I guess that is why it looks that way. read more

The wontons are basically tortilla chips with the smallest amount of filling possible. General Tso's chicken taste like orange chicken rolled in General Tso's sauce. The chicken also came with only 4 tiny pieces of broccoli places in the corners just so you could see there was some there. Lo Mien was just a little different than usual. I ordered a beef and broccoli plate and it came with rice and I ordered some cheese wontons with sweet and sour sauce. The rice had a very distinguished flavor that was so amazing. I ordered by phone for pick up. The pork fried rice won me over. Very good flavor. I also had ordered beef teriyaki sticks along with chicken teriyaki sticks plus 2 spring rolls. I was a bit disappointed with the spring rolls which were very small and the order of chicken stick turned out to be pork but they tasted wonderful so I didn't find it to be a problem. The staff was very polite. I will be coming back to try some different items and pick up more pork fried rice. More than likely I will give them another star next time. read more

These people are incompetent and crooked. After calling in for a delivery the restaurant gave me a price ($16.47 for a general Tso's chicken, 2 egg rolls and a soup) They call back 10 minutes later saying that the price was incorrect and that they wanted to take off food from the order because they had already run my card. I said no that was unacceptable, "you have run my card now give me the food that was promised". They refused and told me it would take 2 days to refund the money. read more

I didn't even order anything. I walked in and saw the dirty grimy appearance of the ordering area, smelled a strong odor of mold in the air, and turned right around. I don't think I've ever been to a more dirty restaurant. Most of the lights were turned off (I'm not sure that they even worked). I don't know what the kitchen looks like because I B-lined it for the door as soon as I looked around and caught a whiff of the air. I am vegan and was struggling to find food I could eat. This place is AMAZING I got the bean curd and broccoli and bean curd was cooked very well and broccoli was steamed nicely. Very large portions, and cheap. Wait staff was accommodating - we chose to eat in, which I think they are not used to because that's the one complaint: the seating is limited and not an aesthetically pleasing environment.
