6/4/24 Update: I haven't been here for 2 years and decided to try it out since it's close by. This place is located in the shopping center of Taco Bell off Hwy 9 and off exit 14 on GA 400. I came in on a Tuesday night and it wasn't too busy but had a good crowd. We were seated right away by our waitress. It still looks the same the last time I came in. Most of the foods were fresh as they kept bringing it out. If there is something you need, just let them know. The hot/sour soup was running low and I let one of the staff members know and they brought a fresh batch of soup right away. I will give this place props on their crawfish. They were large, fresh, super easy to peel, snd had an awesome flavor to. Their fried shrimp and blue crab wasn't half bad as well. The hibachi bar wasn't bad as I got some steak, onions, eggs, and mischroom with Hibachi sauce. I really enjoyed the sushi bar. It's was fresh and tasty. I loved their California rolls and seaweed roll. Sushi chef kept making sushi while I was there. The spicy Mayo I will skip next time as it tasted very bad with too much of a Mayo flavor to it. Service was very good here as the waitress kept cleaning our dishes up and bringing us refills. The dessert/fruit bar was okay. I did liked their individual wrapped chocolate ice cream. For $14.99 dinner buffet, this place isn't half bad for the price. The quality of the food is pretty good. I high recommend this place if your in the Cumming area looking for a Chinese buffet as there is none around this area. I can't wait to be back here again! read more

We came here the night before to grab a quick bite to eat at this all you can eat buffet .This was a typical all you can eat buffet , with a few good selections we we're able to enjoy. . . i'm use to having more options when it comes down to all you could eat buffet, but this one didn't have too too many options. The food was still good. It's just that it wasn't a lot to eat pretty roomy restaurant nice and quiet. The server was nice. We showed up an hour to closing time and it was not too crowded. Nice place to eat. I want on a Sunday at lunch and the food was pretty good for a Chinese buffet. There were many seafood items including jumbo shrimp, crawfish and blue crab. The standard buffet items were also present and quite flavorful. My favorite was the spicy chicken. There was also a sushi area along with a hibachi area. The food on the buffet was constantly refilled. The service was very good. I would return. read more

Restaurant was unclean, lint dust everywhere. Food station was not inviting. Fried rice looked deep fried, so greasy. We were in the area, hungry, stopped by at the buffet hoping to get a good fill, will not return here. Service was mediocre. read more

It's certainly not a clean place. The receipt has a different date on it. When I asked the owner, she got confused and wouldn't answer. I saw a customer paying for the cops while we're eating and the owner wouldn't let them know, and she kept the money for her. After cops left I asked to speak to the owner and she was the one kept the money and she said I will give them credit next time when they back. She is a thieves. read more

It's a smaller Chinese buffet. Price was about $10. There's some ok dishes. It's basically what you would expect at a regular no frills quick Chinese buffet. Nothing really stood out to me but I left stuffed. Service was fine. They need to upgrade the booths and it seemed a bit gloomy on the inside but again everything seemed a bit standard. read more

There really was nothing bad to say about Dragon Buffet that we stopped in for dinner in the city of Cumming. I am told that this one is a sister restaurant of the Hibachi Buffet in Gainesville. If this is true, then I am relegated to give Dragon Buffet a 3.85 stars because it is a slightly smaller food selections. It is an easy parking at the front entrance, and we were seated immediately at a convenient table for the four of us. The main food groups of prepared Chinese/Asian fusion foods are ready for self-serve from display cases, keeping the items at proper temperature. Fresh clean plates and bowls for soup. Sushi is one side offering that I am skipping as well as the offering for what is called Hibachi, where a chef will cook up your choices of greens and proteins. I am happy dishing up broccoli and mushrooms and shrimp and skewered chicken as well as wings and a piece of coated and fried Swai fish. The recipes are all pretty much the same format at buffets. Scoop what you see and go back for more of what you liked. The dining hall with tables and booths makes this Dragon Buffet an interesting layout where the walls are decorated and the pipe in music sounded like K-pop. No matter, the restrooms are clean, and we liked the service provided. Our glasses were refilled, and used plates were quickly picked up. Dessert choices include the usual chocolates and little tarts and lots of fruits and puddings. I found the coffee flavored ice cream cup. It was a good way to end a Dragon sized Buffet meal. read more

Sorry, no pictures on this one. Went here yesterday with a group of 16 family members following funeral visitation for my Mom who just passed. Staff refused to put tabled together to accommodate us saying they can seat us at three separate neighboring tables. We were happy to push the tables together ourselves, but we're not allowed to. VERY POOR customer service. The food was varied, plentiful, and decent tasting. They also offered Hibachi Grill station which was nice. Though they did offer a sushi bar, the sushi was not very good though I didn't expect it to be for a buffet. Too bad customer service is not a priority else this could be a more pleasant experience worth recommending. read more

My family drags me here from time to time. They like the crab legs and crawfish. I can't ever get hibachi because I am allergic to shellfish, and shrimp is right next to and cooked with everything else. The waitresses are okay and typically the same as any buffet. The soy sauce on the table is the saltiest I've ever had. The price is decent if you want to take the kids to dinner without qualms. They have hersheysicecream cups - but the butter pecan is just flavored and no nuts. Lol read more

We were craving some good Americanized Chinese and thought this was going to be great-it just wasn't at all up to our expectations. Its really close to Peachtree Corners center and has a big parking lot which is good. Walking in the buffet main entrance you had to walk around the homeless men sitting there panhandling. There was an odd stale milk or stale bucket water smell walking in. We were quickly greeted though and ushered into a bright room with good Chinese food looking bins at the well lit buffet. So we say ok let's do this! We got a small booth for our family of four, waited to give our drink orders and off we went to make food choices. We found the basics out there- mostly- sesame chicken fried rice crab rangoons and some string beans. There was not enough food in the bins- like 1 Rangoon and lots of people staring at it.... Ps the whole time we were there it never got a refresh. There was a return to check for drinks refills and a nice ice cream option for dessert. All in all- won't go back. Had the food been higher quality I could have skipped over the entrance issues. But it just wasn't great. read more

I am on a "tour of Cumming" in order to find underrated restaurants and buffets and review them on a combination of value, quality, service and cleanliness. Upon walking in, it appears to be your average local Chinese buffet. But, the ambience and lighting are somewhat nice for being such an economical establishment. I was immediately seated and impressed with the fact that it was packed full of customers at 2 PM on a Saturday. It appears to be quite clean, and there's something for everyone here. The General Tso's Chicken and stir fried rice noodles were my favorites. The chicken was crispy and fresh. The green beans and mushrooms were fresh and tasty as well. There are both heavy and light options. They had an array of fresh fruits, dessert and more. They also offer hibachi made right in front of you, as well as a sushi bar. Staff frequently cleaned surfaces as customers visited the buffet. The value is excellent in this economy and a family can eat lunch here affordably. We will be back! read more

I'm actually very surprised by this place. Food was actually pretty good. They have a decent selection of food items and everything looks clean and well stocked. Desserts are kind of a hit or miss but the sushi is pretty good, not that cheap gross kind of sushi. Also the staff were super friendly. I definitely will be coming back here! read more

It's been a few years since I've eaten at a Chinese buffet. They're usually just ok at best and I walk away feeling like crap. I've been seeing the reviews of this place lately and decided to take the family Saturday afternoon. We were all pleasantly surprised and agreed that it's one of the better Chinese buffets that we've been to. There was a nice variety of sushi, a hibachi station and several buffet tables. I ate a lot but probably could have done a lot more damage in my younger days. They quickly cleared dirty plates from our table but were very slow to refill drinks. All in all, a very good experience and at only $8.99 for our Saturday lunch. read more

K & M don't like the chinese buffets but I like being able to taste a little bit of everything. JO & JA said they don't mind going every once in a while. I like the coffee ice cream at the end. Food has definitely improved except for a few items. The seafood combination of shrimp, calamari, and squid sits so long that the shrimp becomes "mealy", and unappetizing. Sometimes, the sushi sits too long and the rice becomes hard and crunchy. Overall, this place is a good value with the remainder of the menu being good. Fried fish is delicious. read more

Atmosphere was pleasant and clean. They did keep good stock levels that were hot when needed or room temperature (whichever was needed). The only thing missing was Tofu (crispy and/or sautéed). Will go again if given a chance. read more

Typical Chinese buffet with good service but below average food. Interesting experience, but I won't be going back.

First time back since before the pandemic. Better than I remember. Yes, the decor inside needs a bit of updating and looks a little dingy. Yelp has it as 100 rating for cleanliness - and yes, indeed, their health rating listed on the wall inside the restaurant is 100. And that is outstanding and for a buffet restaurant? That's almost unheard of? There was plenty of food to choose from, and it kept coming out hot and fresh. The sushi was decent and the hibachi was outstanding. You picked the fresh vegetables and they add the meat (that you choose) and cook it fresh for you - with your choice of sauce. Can't get much better and fresher than that. I had to try one of the breaded chicken wings. I wish I would've saved room for more of them. They were delicious. If you're in the mood for a buffet and especially a Chinese buffet, and you're in the area, you'll find plenty to enjoy. We are planning on going back and taking some home by the pound with us. read more

Cheap bland frozen food is all you'll get here. Tried just about everything and just a few items were worth eating. Not worth it

So I begin this review with you have to have realistic expectations with a Chinese buffet. It is not going to be authentic nor is it going to be five star quality. But what you get for the value this is a very good Chinese buffet. Chinese buffets are a dying breed so I was really happy to find this one. Lunch during the week is only nine dollars and dinner is only $13 which is an absolute steal for any Buffay but especially a Chinese buffet. Overall the food is really solid. The food tastes great! The dining area and buffet are always clean. The price is reasonable. The staff is very nice and very accommodating. They could improve by having more variety or maybe occasionally replace some items with new ones.
