Once brought out and poured, I moved the bottle further as to not accidentally knock it over and I guess by habit closed the bottle, then proceeded to the salad bar. The server came to find me in line to ask why I've moved the bottle, then proceeded to tell me that the wine needs to breathe so he'll re-open the bottle. Personally didn't need a lecture on how wine needs to breathe, I'm well aware, nor do I find it appropriate to chase me down in line over it, but okay I let it go as well and thanked him for his help. Everything else was great, until the check came. I guess there was an issue with the card we used and different server very discretely brought it to our attention. Of course we're embarrassed, but grateful for the discreetness. Mind you, we've been here many times and have never had any issues before, just inadvertently gave an old card. I grabbed my purse to provide a different card and the initial server decided to comment loudly to my partner something about where'd you get lucky enough to find her as if to say women don't pay. For 25 years, Golden Corral restaurants across the country have teamed up with DAV Chapters to help raise funds that directly support veterans and their families. Earlier this year, we also joined Golden Corral in raising money for Camp Corral, a wonderful program that provides a life-changing summer camp experience for the children of wounded and fallen service members. Unfortunately, this location experienced a setback due to a fire that temporarily disrupted operations and limited our fundraising efforts. The good news is that Golden Corral Cumming is now fully renovated and back in business--better than ever! The restaurant looks great, the food is as good as always, and the staff continues to provide outstanding service to our community.
