New indian place in Alpharetta. They opened up recently. Located in the complex across Walmart! (Right next to Papa Johns/Yan Cafe). Inside: Cool ambiance, they have a nice bar setup as well. The drink options looked decent (havent got a chance to try their drinks yet.). Food: Tried the biryani and chicken 65 appetizer (its named different on the menu). Unfortunately the food was subpar. They are still new and will give them another try. Would be nice if they improved service (person working there was all over the place), reduce the audio/music volume inside. They are trying to get a hang of running first few weeks of business, so please be patient and go with low expectations.

Love this place so much and hate to give them a bad review, but during our most recent visit we…read morewere quite thrown off by comments made by our server. First, we got the feeling the server was over eager to sell us a bottle of wine. My partner doesn't drink, so he opted for water and I opted for a half bottle. It was a bit pushy, but we payed it no mind. Once brought out and poured, I moved the bottle further as to not accidentally knock it over and I guess by habit closed the bottle, then proceeded to the salad bar. The server came to find me in line to ask why I've moved the bottle, then proceeded to tell me that the wine needs to breathe so he'll re-open the bottle. Personally didn't need a lecture on how wine needs to breathe, I'm well aware, nor do I find it appropriate to chase me down in line over it, but okay I let it go as well and thanked him for his help. Everything else was great, until the check came. I guess there was an issue with the card we used and different server very discretely brought it to our attention. Of course we're embarrassed, but grateful for the discreetness. Mind you, we've been here many times and have never had any issues before, just inadvertently gave an old card. I grabbed my purse to provide a different card and the initial server decided to comment loudly to my partner something about where'd you get lucky enough to find her as if to say women don't pay. I was shocked and mortified! At that point I simply replied that it all comes out of the same accounts anyway, just a different name on the card. The comment was well beyond inappropriate, brought attention unnecessarily, and was absolutely unwarranted. At least we've been together for more than a decade, I can't even imagine if this was someone's first date! We didn't need to offer an explanation, but at that point we just wanted to be done and get out as quickly as possible. We'll likely dine here again, but definitely hope we never come across this particular server again.

Holcomb Bridge Road is just always busy, so give yourself a few minutes to work your way from 400 over here. They have their own parking lot, no issues there. Our server was ChingHan, and she was very helpful and attentive. She noted that they run a lunch special for $19.99 that has a lot of sushi nigiri, rolls, and soups. Not too bad! I ended up getting a volcano roll, and spicy tuna roll, and a shrimp tempura roll. I had a bowl of miso soup and a cucumber salad. My buddy went à la carte and had octopus, hamachi and tuna along with miso soup, iced tea and strawberry ice cream. His meal was almost double the AYCE cost. Not a big deal, he doesn't eat rice. ChingHan also said that for dinner after 4 PM, they run an AYCE sashimi special nightly. I'll have to bring other people here to eat sometime! I peeked at the regular menu and it looks like they offer a lot of tasty items. But a $20 lunch special these days can take you a long way. I'm still full! Support small businesses!

We were told the price would be adjusted on our check. She brought the receipt and it was $77. They lie and steal and have horrible food.

Since she was…read morepregnant at the time, her options were a little more limited, and we were specifically looking for a place that offered plenty of cooked sushi options. This spot did not disappoint. They had a great selection of cooked rolls and other items, which made it easy for her to find plenty of things she could enjoy. She absolutely loved it and is already talking about coming back after the baby arrives so she can try some of the other sushi options they offer. And when they say "revolving," they're not kidding. The sushi continuously moves throughout the restaurant, and you simply grab what you want and pay based on the plates you select. It was a fun experience, especially since it was our first time visiting. The restaurant has plenty of seating, and we arrived just before the dinner rush, which worked out perfectly. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the staff was very helpful. Our waitress took the time to explain how everything worked and made sure we were comfortable throughout the visit. Overall, this was a great experience. More importantly, my wife enjoyed herself, which was the whole reason for the visit. We have nothing negative to say about this location and will definitely be back in the future.

When I arrived, I grabbed a piece of chicken and it was already cold, so I decided to wait for them to bring out a fresh batch. Same thing with the chicken livers: cold and not refreshed the entire time we were eating. Near the end of the meal, I finally asked if they were planning to put out fresh chicken. I explained that I tried it when I got there (about 30 minutes earlier) and it was cold, and nothing had been replaced. The staff member said she could start working on some, so I waited. About 12 to 15 minutes later, they did bring out fresh chicken and fresh chicken livers, and honestly, when it's fresh it's actually pretty good. The mashed potatoes were another issue. They had a thick, crusty layer on top, and it looked like they dumped the old, dried-out potatoes from the previous pan over the fresh batch. I had to scrape off the crusty topping just to get to the fresh potatoes underneath. Overall, the food itself isn't terrible. The bigger problem is the way it's being handled. It felt like they were more focused on cutting costs and stretching old food than keeping the buffet fresh and consistent. My advice: if something you want looks like it's been sitting out too long, say something early before you sit down. If you wait, you may never see fresh food brought out.
