If there was the option to fly red flag warnings to patients (well I guess this is) to warn of corruption and negligence within GP practices, then this practice hands down should have one. It didn't used to be this way and is a damn shame. This practice was one of a kind, where patients could feel safe, feeling lucky to have GPs they could put full faith in. Knowing that they would be listened to and supported, treated with dignity and respect. A practice that you could literally trust with your life. Not anymore. Heswall Surgery has evolved into HPGP nightmare and has been ruined by stuck up, arrogant, and plain disinterested doctor(s) who judge and assume, look down on their patients like dregs. Not everyone receives this attitude and approach though of course, only those who don't meet their level of worthiness when being assessed, not for healthcare needs or symptoms either it seems, simply just to receive the care and support any patient should be entitled to, regardless of appearance and class. These GPs, they begin eager and helpful, kind having your best interests at heart, or pretending to at least. Slowly though, the rod up their backside stiffens and the ignorance along with bitterness creeps in, you can feel it as soon as you walk through their forced, and false, pretentious 'unwelcoming' door. Sat there listening to their self righteous waffle while they google your symptoms, totally disregarding the facts presented and actual medical, some potentially life threatening, conditions posed before them. This surgery used to be the best in any area when oldschool Doctors were practicing medicine. One of the longer standing also when he first came and he was under their wing he was the most thorough and reliable GP - no frills approach from any - but they knew what they were doing. The surgery now is a mixed bag of incompetence and the majority of this incompetence is at senior level. What starts out as a seemingly warm and welcoming GP practice, with doctors who actually care and who would do their utmost for their patients, turn their eagerness to help into negligence, they just don't want to know. They punish you for daring to inconvenience them by ignoring symptoms that blaze investigation and warning signs. Signs that they know are linked to medical conditions which mentally and physically, emotionally impact and impair your daily life and those surrounding you, as they just cant wait to get you out of their consulting room quick enough so they can tally ho and TTFN trot off to their quarters for din dins. Not only do they ignore the signs they manipulate them. They hide test results they conceal findings. They ring the wrong alarms knowing full well that it will take the spotlight off themselves. Can't tar all with the same brush though, one GP is the loveliest GP, in fact just the loveliest lovely all round to be fair no wonder there's about a 3 year waiting list (jk) for her appointments. She - and everyone will know who this refers to if ever a patient at HPGP - hasn't transitioned like her incompetent, narcissitic, not forgetting, dismissive and negligent counterpart(s), and again not all GPs at the practice are like this in all ways. Some though however sadly are and at senior level as well it's just such a shame. Shame on YOU doctor. read more
