I was never seen barefoot and I never wore sandals or open toe shoes. As my mother had a bunionectomy at my age, and the pain was getting worse and worse with each passing year, I was very nervous to have two different surgeries. I had heard nightmare stories of how painful the process is and I was suitably terrified. When my friend's mother saw my feet she informed me that she had suffered bunions as well, and had gone to Basile for her bunionectomy. I couldn't tell she'd ever had bunions or the surgery- and I listened when she recommended him. I'm so glad I did. Basile did a bunionectomy and a toe shortening on my right foot to correct a deformity and a straight forward bunionectomy on my left. Both surgeries were in and out with no complications. For my right foot I was out of work for 4 weeks- for the left 2. I was able to get back to the gym in no time and I can honestly say that I am in less pain than before the operation and I'm not self conscious anymore. Basile explained the procedure and what I would need in detail. He was diligent in letting me know what to expect and gave me very realistic expectations. I would- and have- wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a surgeon.

I made the appointment over two weeks ago and took time off work to attend and was told he wouldn't see me when i arrived. So, you may want to think twice before seeing him seeing the copay is more than what you are seeing him for. I did tell her to bill me and i will send it in.

I've called multiple times and have repeatedly been told that the office manager is "not available," with no follow-up call or email despite being told Cathy, the office manager would get back to me. His manner is friendly and professional. In fact, when I called the office after having been away for 7 years, he immediately remembered me! I can't quite explain what applied kinesiology is or how it works, but I know that it's by far the most effective chiropractic work I've ever had done. A bonus is that you don't have to go back twice a week for the rest of your life to maintain the adjustment. I generally go periodically, and even then some persistent problems are kept at bay. Dr. Manning has also done amazing work to identify and gently correct several metabolic/endocrine imbalances that underlay some health issues I have. He uses kinesiology to hunt down and find the basic problem or imbalance that is throwing everything else off. And then (and this is the amazing part), he uses this same technique to find the exact supplement that can correct that source imbalance. He can also test foods using this technique to find out what you perhaps should remove from your diet for awhile for the sake of health. I have seen my general health improve step by step. I'm grateful to have this option and do recommend him to anyone.

It's been easy to schedule appointments with the very friendly office staff. The therapists I've seen (Megan, Ben, and Donna) have been knowledgeable, professional, thorough, encouraging, friendly, and just plain great. They've clearly explained the how and why of the treatment process, answered all my questions, and I've seen an improvement after every appointment. The end result was that I was able to confidently return to an active lifestyle. I also really like the fact that after the initial one-hour evaluation, the appointments are each 1/2 hour long with the therapist focused on only me. Each therapist only has one patient at a time so there's no down-time, waiting to be told what to do next like I've seen at other PT clinics. They give a manageable amount of effective "homework" each time, along with a thorough explanation of how to do the "assignment." Progress is steady and the outcome has always been positive. If I need PT in the future, there will be no question about where to go!
