I worked on it for a few weeks myself with limited improvement, and I thought I was going to have to drain it because of the cyanuric acid level, but wanted a professional opinion. My old pool guy had retired. I called another service someone recommended, but they didn't reply. So I put out a Yelp request for quotes and received a couple nice replies almost immediately. I picked Pool Time because Jorge was able to come the next day (on the weekend) for a free consultation, and after looking at it he said he could get it clean it for a fair price over a couple weeks without having to drain it. Jorge went above and beyond to get it done. He had to do more visits than expected but was committed to doing whatever it took to get the pool clear at the quoted price. He always came when he said he would and was very easy-going and nice to work with. After a bunch of visits over a couple weeks (bringing another guy when necessary) and lots of hard work (vacuuming, chemicals, backwashing, multiple filter cleanings, brushing), the pool suddenly cleared up over two days as if by magic. I was skeptical that this pool would come clean without draining it, but he did it. I recommend Jorge at Pool Time because he is honest, friendly, responsive, and will do what he says. I opted to get ongoing pool service from him to make sure my pool stays clear over the next few months. I also like that he uses liquid chemicals instead of pucks, which I'm hoping will help keep the cyanuric acid down for a bit longer. Thanks Jorge!

I was recommended to SKH Spas & Hot Tubz by a colleague of mine. I never knew Steve (still have not…read moremet) but was able to talk over the phone. We talked on Thursday, next day Friday Steve shows up onsite free of charge to inspect the job and provided a quote same day. The price was inline and competitive with other repair companies but the thing that really impressed me was he wanted to use and source the exact same model so the configurations and piping remained the same, it would be a simple drop and replace with the heater, where the competition wanted to dig out, get a different brand of heater, which drove the costs up. The very next Monday Steve was able to replace the gas heater with the exact same model as the previous, and within a couple hours the heater was working and like his business card promised, "I'll get you into hot water." If you're sitting in COLD water, I'd recommend Steve to get you back in your HOT tub. Message me for any questions, happy to help.

However, the moment I had simple questions about the numbers (like why some replacement equipment prices are 20% quoted higher than from other suppliers), he did not bother to answer except of keeping replying "my estimate is fair, feel free to get other ones" and "feel free to buy it yourself", which was not neither respectful not considered for the time and money I spent to simply get the estimate from him.
