Finding a good doctor is not an easy task. You may go through a long list of random names from your…read moreinsurance provider's website. We've done this with healthcare specialists for my husband, but fortunately we found Dr. Hyatt, Mountainside Medical Group Family Practice, for his primary care physician. She is fantastic and my husband attests that she is one of the best doctors who he's seen. She's set up an office with another doctor, Dr. Julie Kidangan, in Bloomfield (we went to an office in Verona previously). The new space is great. It's easy to drive to from Route 3 or the GSP. There is a private lot for parking, too. The office itself is bright with large windows and a nice waiting area (quiet, neat, and has cute furniture - just saying). The office is located in a one-level building, and is wheelchair accessible with a ramp leading the office entrance. My husband has been very sick this week, so I handled scheduling his appointment at the new office. The office scheduler/manager who worked with me was very polite, friendly, and professional. I don't know about you, but I've had many experiences in the past with office staff who I've sworn truly hate the world. So I really appreciate this friendly service. So without hesitation, I would recommend Dr. Hyatt and this office. As a wife helping my husband, I feel confident that he's getting the best treatment from this office, which gives me tremendous relief.

She listened to me, empathized and has always been just a phone call away if I need her. I've seen her several times in just a few months to adjust my medication and she's never made me wait more than 10 minutes and has always taken her time listening to me and explaining what I need to know. I would definitely recommend her to anyone!

He'll have you in and out within 10 minutes of seeing you and the wait times are generally very short. He's really nice, speaks perfect English and he makes everything very easy to understand. The staff is very accommodating and super-nice. Their office even offers late nights (Tuesdays & Thursdays until 7:30 PM) and on Saturdays (until noon, I believe) for the working individuals who get out at 5 PM or have weekends off. I recommend Dr. Chen based on the positive experiences I've had with him so far.

I feel bad for leaving a low score since Dr. David Chen himself is an excellent doctor. First off,…read morehe spent quality time explaining things, did not rush visits, was knowledgeable had great bedside manners. However, to see this great doctor you must unfortunately deal with his staff who are rude and have an attitude problem. When I call, or speak to the receptionist for David Chen, the lady always sounds like I am bothering her and interrupting her day. Every visit, I left with an overall negative experience because of the staff. The final straw was his office staff refused to provide me the results of my blood work and insisted I come in for a full office visit just to get the results of my blood work after a physical. I ended up moving myself and recommending my parents to switch practices.

This is honestly such a disappointing review to have to update because we are talking about my (&…read moreother women's) health. My first and probably 2nd visit here were amazing. And then it was honestly like there was a complete 180. A procedure I needed to have had to be pushed back because of failure to schedule on behalf of the scheduling coordinator and then I finally canceled said procedure because yet again, the same scheduler failed to call both myself and the office regarding the required labs that were needed to be done prior to the procedure. I refused to allow medical "professionals" perform a procedure on me when they couldn't even get the scheduling correct or have processes in order prior to the procedure. And then to make matters worse, I realized that a prescription they've been refilling for me for months wasn't called in to the pharmacy and when I requested that the doctor call it in (via CVS electronic service) it never happened which in turn prompted me to call the clinic to request it be called in and I was informed that "they're an urgent care facility and I should have a primary doctor call it in and not them but that they would check to see if it were possible to call it in this last time but we're sure it couldn't be called in for the remainder of the year" ... WHAAAT? This was NEVER shared with me in any consultation or appointment and is just another example of why this rating is now 1 star, because how odd is it that all of a sudden after I canceled my procedure, expressed my frustrations and concerns, that my prescription may not be able to be refilled ... seems a bit retaliatory and completely unprofessional to me. After things are figured out with my prescription I know I'll never return to this location and urge others to be cautious when trusting this location with their feminine health.
