We got her from a rescue when she was about 7 months old and started taking her to Christopher Robins (C.R.) when she was about 10 months old as we wanted her to be comfortable socializing with other dogs and humans. We chose C.R. because of how the dogs are allowed to interact with each other. The play sessions they set up are truly customized to our dog's personality, how she likes to play, and her level of comfort with other dogs. They monitor to make sure the dogs don't get overwhelmed, and to ensure the play groups are fun for our dog and those she plays with. We get report cards showing pictures of her play sessions so we can see her progress. Dogs are social animals and need their pack. C.R. will let us know when she has a good day, when she helps comfort another dog who needs help engaging with the group, or when she has a new best friend. It's been almost two years since we started using Christopher Robins and highly recommend them. Our dog is thriving and looks forward to going to C.R. every time. Though it is 100% our responsibility to train our dog and prepare them for social situations, and C.R. has helped enhance our dog's socialization and how she plays. This is a great place where we don't worry about her and she gets to redirect her energy in a positive way.

My dogs stayed here last February and April. Unfortunately in February, I changed their food and…read moreboth dogs got diarrhea. On top of that something either on their floors or outside caused their paws to bleed. My vet didn't know if they had a reaction to something they cleaned the floors with or something outside. Basically, my poor babies were miserable. Here, I have absolutely no complaints. They were wonderful with my dogs and took great care of them. They went back in April and had a great stay. I was also told that they would be welcomed back, which apparently was a lie. Where they lost my recommendation was what happened after. I recently called to have them stay there again and I received an email declining the reservation. Their explanation was that due to my dogs anxiety they would not accept them. Yes, one of my dogs has anxiety and is on medication, however, that did not cause the bloody paws or the diarrhea. I called as soon as their office was open and received their voicemail, so I left basically the same message as I wrote above. They replied with an email saying that they would review the situation. Well, it's been over a week and I never heard back. it is bad business to welcome someone back when they are face to face with you and then go back on that in an email, reply to a phone call with an email and then drop all communication.

Our dog was seriously overgrown with a coat we could not manage to do ourselves, had some serious matting. Melissa and her friendly staff did an amazing job bathing and giving him a summer shave, successfully negotiated removal of matts too. Our dog was so much more comfortable and I was very relieved and impressed when I picked him up. Melissa even took the time to explain what they did to me and stressed the importance of regular grooming with his breed. Anyone considering any sort of grooming should schedule an appointment with this amazing salon today!

If that wasn't enough, the place was absolutely filthy, my dog had shampoo all inside of her ears which resulted in a horrible ear infection, she has a giant open wound on her head (which the vet said looked like she hit her head). Her nails were probably the most horrific scene of it all... she cut them so short that there was blood everywhere and I had to fill socks with Vaseline and put an E-collar on her just to help heal it... when I told her that this was unacceptable, she said she (my dog) looks better than half the dogs she does and if I had a problem with it, I should do it myself from now on... please don't subject your animals to this cruelty... I have an amazing groomer that I typically used, but she was on vacation when I needed this particular session done. I will never make the same mistake twice... Edit to respond to owner. This was 100% the right facility. It was YOU who did it and I talked to another pet parent that said she found out you hit her dog as well. You're despicable. I hope you get shut down. I will make sure I tell everybody about what you have done. Don't go destroying anymore records, cause now you're being watched

I cannot thank Janelle enough for my Miniature Goldendoodle. Penelope Mae is such a blessing. She…read moreis so smart, sweet, loving and playful with an incredible temperament. Goldendoodles are great breeds for many reasons, but I truly think a great Doodle comes from an exceptional breeder. When searching for your new companion, you want to find a breeder who knows exactly what they're doing, someone who is passionate about the breed and cares about the overall wellbeing of the puppy. You want to find a breeder who is responsible and ethical and isn't just trying to make a quick buck. Janelle is no exception. She goes above and beyond to make sure all her puppies are healthy, have wonderful temperaments and excellent genetics. There is no doubt Janelle knows exactly what she is doing. I admire Janelle and appreciate all the hard work that goes into breeding such a perfect dog. You may also think the price is a little high, but trust me, you get what you pay for and Penelope is worth every single "Penny."

After a very long time of researching breeders I decided that Janelle Cole at bellaminidoodles.com…read moreseemed like the best fit to work with. I found a beautiful puppy listed on the website " Fushia Girl " a mini goldendoodle i spoke to Jenelle 3 times before purchasing. She sent me the invoice for 3,900.00. Once I paid in full she texted me not thanking me for the payment but to complain she forgot to add on the $110.00 processing fee she gets charged when one uses a credit card. Although this was settled once she realized her error Jenelle advised she would pay for this fee along with the " training the pup received " I selected a pick up date see her website she charges $550.00 for pick up in Lee Massachusetts. Once a delivery date was set I received another text from Jenelle advising me to bring $675.00 in cash for the delivery driver. Big difference $550.00 to $675.00. I arrived early that day to pick up the puppy, no delivery company existed it was just her son. I pay the $675.00 was handed the pup and drove home the 2 hours. When finally was getting settled at home I noticed I was given the wrong dog. I also must add this pup was so shaggy, messy, matted and poor thng couldn't see with the amount of hair covering the eyes. I brought the pup to TWO pet specialists and was told this dog is NOT a Pure Goldendoodle this is closer to a Poddle. I contacted Jenelle Cole that same night at 732pm via text, expressed my concern to Jenelle Cole. Radio Silent, No Text, No Phone Call nothing. The next day at 130 pm I finally connected with Jenelle Cole owner of Bellaminidoodles.com. The reply I received " anyone who is not happy with the puppy they receive I always tell them to bring the puppy back to me " I remind her I live in Massachusetts and she lives in Rochester NY a 938 miles round trip. That day I spend 2 hours researching flight nanny, delivery companies, private flights out of the Beverly ma airport, thought about renting a car, looked into taking a bus to NY so many ideas but every idea I had and looked into would cost $650.00 at minimum to get the pup returned to NY. I finally decided I would drive my own car that is a lease to NY. I reached back out to Janelle and ask her if she would kindly return my $675.00 cash from the pick up delivery and I Will agree to drive the pup I have back to her home in Rochester NY. Her reply " I am not paying one penny for your expense to bring the pup back to me this is your responsibility " Text me when you are on your way, and hangs up on the phone on me. The next day at 4:42 am I got in the car and drove to NY. I arrived at 12:35 pm returned the pup back to Jenelle Cole. She begged me not to post any reviews. She asked me if I thought she was being fair I replied NO but showed zero compassion. All I wanted and still want is the delivery fee of $675.00 returned to me. Note again her sketchy website says her delivery fee to pick-up a pup is $550.00 so why was I was charged $675.00 is wild. I returned home that same night at 920pm. I drove 987 miles, drove a total of 14 hours, spent $140.00 on gas in one day a big loss for me. The next day Jenelle Cole texted me showing me pictures of the pup all well groomed saying she has been adopted for $3400. I submitted a complaint with the Attorney general office in NY thankfully they have a Lemon Law for Dogs. Waiting for the outcome, I just want my refund. #1 pic is the dog I purchased, #2 & 3rd picture is how I received the pup, shaggy, messy and not the same dog. Lastly her pups are not " Trained " so please beware and no I do not recommend bellaminidoodles.com. They advertise Goldendoodles but are selling Poodles. Note multiple negative reviews posted on bellaminidoodles.com most concerning her last positive review is not recent dated back to 2019. Could be family or friends posting a positive review.

We had a long, dragged-out experience with them that lasted almost two years and did not end with…read moreus being offered a puppy. We first filled out the application in October 2021 and made the reservation fee shortly after. At the time, they had a long waitlist due to the pandemic and we were about 25th on the list. Our only request throughout the whole process was that we be offered a female puppy when the time came. They were very communicative for the first few months and their website showed where we were on the list, so as litters were born, we could see ourselves moving up. As time went on, they moved their location, changed their business name and redesigned their website, so we were unable to see our progression up the list. I reached out in November 2022 as to where we were and was told we were still in the top 20. Shortly after that in December 2022, they reached out and asked if we were ready for a dog as a litter was about to be born and would have been a February take home. Seeing what we were told just the month prior and knowing February would be difficult for us with our work schedules, we informed them we would not be ready in February but were open to subsequent litters. Again, we were in the top 20 just a month before (to our knowledge, no litters were born between that time) and we were not actually OFFERED a puppy in December 2022 because one was not physically available. Our impression was that if we were being asked if we were ready in December, we would be able to have a puppy from a subsequent litter sooner rather than later. By September 2023, there were several other litters born and yet we were still not offered a dog. They, on the other hand, claim that we were "offered" in December 2022 but declined. That could not be further from the truth. If there was actually a female puppy born and available, we would have made it work with our schedules since we had been waiting over a year already at that point. All they did was ask us if we were ready, not said "I have a dog for you." There's a big difference between the two. Furthermore, why by September 2023 were we still being told we were "near the top" and "should be in the next litter" if we were actually offered in December 2022 as they claim? Any reasonable person would assume that if they were being asked if they were ready for one litter, they would be coming close to the top of the list. As I noted above, there were several litters born between December 2022 and September 2023 but it is pretty clear that we were passed over for other people on the list. The most infuriating part of all of this was their email that they sent in early September 2023, which read "If you are willing to budge and accept a male that would be easier for us to get you one from this litter, otherwise we will be breeding the next girl in the upcoming months but we will not breed if we have available puppies." What that said to us was basically "take a male dog or keep waiting." We found that to be totally unprofessional. When I questioned them about that, they said "nothing was implied" in their previous email, but we don't see how that email can be taken any other way. Because of this nonsense, I requested my reservation fee be returned which of course was refused. Yes, when we first completed the application, we understood that the reservation fee was nonrefundable, but what we hoped would happen after almost 2 years is that they would do the right thing and try to make things right. After all, we made the reservation fee with the assumption we'd be offered a female puppy at some point before hell froze over, but their last email from September indicated that hell might in fact actually freeze over before we received a puppy. It seems that besides breeding, their business model includes taking $500 from people to be added to this mystical list, just so they finally wait long enough to throw their hands up and walk away like we did. We also noticed that the pricing of their dogs went up $500 since we were put on the waitlist 2 years ago. It wouldn't surprise me if they were taking people from the "bottom" of said waitlist and offering them dogs before us just so they make some extra bucks. There are many, many other breeders in the tri-state area with AVAILABLE, AKC approved and genetically tested females. Hopefully this game that they play will not last much longer because other people will start to catch on. Their dogs may be beautiful and supposedly come from a great genetic background, but unless you feel like waiting for an undisclosed amount of time for a dog, I'd suggest looking elsewhere.
