Dr. Hinsley removed the parathyroid gland and my calcium is back to normal. Other than a sore throat from the breathing tube I had no other related pain or discomfort. Throughout the procedure process I was totally informed and I can't speak highly enough about Dr. Hinsley's professionalism and skill. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because when you call Central Oregon ENT it is rare you can ever talk to someone. You end up in an extensive phone tree which results in leaving a voicemail message which the robot says will be returned within 24 business hours. That rarely happens and you are lucky to ever get a call back. Thus, you end up calling again and going through the same routine.

I needed a refill for some ointment for my ear canal, they wouldn't refill it without an…read moreappointment, I went in just to get the refill but the doctor looked into my ear canal before she ordered the refill it took about two minutes and got a charge of about $300, my insurance paid for some but I feel the charge is outrageous. Plus the doctor ordered the wrong ointment which I had to pay for then had to pay again for the correct ointment. They care more about the money than care for the patients. I'll be finding another ENT in the future

DO NOT waste your time, money or effort with this greedy doctor who has zero knowledge on what causes sinus issues. Absolutely infuriating experience! Since declining all treatment suggestions from Dr. Gallivan, a naturopath (Dr, Emma Baker) discovered food allergies that caused the problems. END of sinus issues. The first visit lasted less than 10 minutes. He acted like he was in a hurry and blew me off. Instead of answering my questions he kept repeating the same things he said initially. I am an RN of 30 years and have never had any doctor act like this. The next visit I had with him wasn't any better. He very quickly looked in my nose with a scope to check for polyps but it was more of an "in and out" which lasted seconds, hardly long enough to actually see anything. Again, the visit lasted less than 10 minutes. When I asked why I cannot breath through my left nostril he told me to make another appointment to find out. No thanks. I am not spending another penny at your pathetic office. If I am going to pay $400-600 per visit I am going to someone that cares about the patient enough to find the problem.

I truly thought something was wrong with my head but she knew to also check my neck and it was a neck injury! Great diagnosis and treatment. Loved being taken seriously (in Utah I have been blown off and misdiagnosed so many times I avoided urgent care whenever possible). So happy to know I can get quality care without waiting for my PCP to have availability!
