This time however, they decided to hold my wifes SSRI hostage for payment and I had to make a big deal about it to get her medication. They were told several times that she was in heavy withdrawal from not having her meds and they told her go to a hospital. So eventually I got them to fill her meds the day before we got paid. I never cussed or raised my voice, I remained professional calm and collected. Today we get a certified letter, notice of discharge, with no reason given. On top od that, they charged over $170 per visit and the entire year (nearly), they wanted to see her twice a month, every 2-3 weeks, always saying they wanted to check in with her and make sure she is ok. Just a quick 5 minute phone call and they charged full visit price every time, so basically cash paying these people $340-$350 per month only to be treated like garbage when push came to shove. In their discharge letter they say, and I quote directly, "Please be advised that certain psychiatric medications should not be stopped abruptly." Which I find ironic considering they forced my wife into a heavy SSRI withdrawal, knowingly so. I've honestly got a good mind to call a few law firms at this point and maybe even some media outlets. This place is terrible! My wife was never planning on going back but discharging without giving a reason and waiting until her meds were running low to discharge her was dirty work. If you care about your mental health and your wallet, don't go here. Plus, they don't even listen to the patient during the appointments.

I was contacted by Lee Health way back in March 2019 for an IT Project Manager / "Business Systems…read moreAdministrationAnalyst" position that after 25 years experience, I was extremely well qualified for. I had a phone interview with Lorraine and Darrel on 3/22 that went well enough that they brought me in for an in person panel interview on 4/05. Yes, a bit of an unusual delay, but that is their MO, in spades. Read on. That interview went extremely well and I really was convinced that I'd found the right place and would fit in immediately because of how well my diverse IT background fit the organization and what my responsibilities would be. The HR rep, Ryan, told me that if everything went as well as it appeared I could be on board by "mid April". Well the end of April and first week or so of Nay came and went and...nothing. I was frustrated and told them I was disconcerted and no longer interested. The HR dude was off for paternity leave and his replacement asked a week or so later if I was still interested. I said I was even though they had since told me IF they brought me on it would be at a lesser grade level for less pay "so you'll have room to move up." More weeks went by and after I asked was told that Darrel, the manager to whom I'd report, wanted to bring me back for a 3 hour one in two with him and his PM whom I'd be working with. Sure, I thought, what do I have to lose? I went there for 3 hours and again it couldn't have gone any better. Darrel knee he could plug me right in and I'd immediately be productive. He said he wanted me in, as he told Lorraine, the boss woman who's been there over 20 years, after my first in person interview. He said to expect someone to get back to me by next Wednesday (3 business days). Next Wednesday came and went, as did the following week. I finally emailed Darrel directly, and he said he'd call me by the end of the day. No call. Now two business days later I got an email from Ryan, the HR guy for their IT / IS group saying, sorry, don't shoot the messenger, but you didn't get the job. Today is 6/25, over THREE MONTHS after I was first contacted. I am 100% convinced that Lee Health is inept and irresponsible not their hiring and most likely their management of IT and most likely other departments and after over 3 months of being strung along feel grateful they did not hire me so I do not have to put up with their unprofessionally inept practices on the job. I HIGHLY recommend you steer clear of ANY job you may wish to apply for with LEE HEALTH of Ft. Meyers, Florida.

He rescued me from a doctor I would never return to. My general doctor referred me to another urologist before the last one. And that doctor left me in horrific pain. No antibiotics after surgery or pain pills. To top it off he left me on a table waiting for him to arrive for treatment all prepped for 2 hours waiting for his arrival on the prep table. Doctor Land would never done this. God bless him. I am taking a one more chance. Dr Land referred me to a doctor who he said was a very good doctor. God bless me. I am seeing him next week.
