In speaking with the doctor, she assured me this was way better than going the route of an orthopedic. Now I've had 30 orthopedic surgeries so I thought this would be a nice break from the pain and recovery. Well, I was wrong! My foot hurt so bad I was in tears. I've NEVER felt pain like that before not even from back surgeries, knee replacements, rotator cuff, you name it I've had it. It wasn't going away snd we are two months in. She told me initially 10-12 days I'd be back to normal! Well, a year later and my foot is deformed because she BARELY took anything off the bunion. Maybe the small head of it but she left the entire bunion in. It's clear. Then on top of that, the pain now radiates into my ligament. She forgets things she tells you as well! Every week I went back so that they could change my soft cast, which was basically a glorified sticky ace bandage. My foot was consistently cold discolored and swollen for two straight months and she acted like it was no big deal. She also prescribed a bone stimulator machine that is supposed to heal a fracture 50% quicker. I am now four months in to this fracture, and it is only halfway healed. I went for a second opinion at nine weeks and he immediately sent me to physical therapy and got me out of the boot and off crutches immediately. The bone stimulator company charge my insurance $5000 I would say they paid only 2000 of it. The extra $300 was my balance. Such a waste! I would never recommend this place! Go elsewhere
