Sadly, the home office of this organization sends a clear message that they do not value their employees or the families that pay their salaries. I've had my kids in this center since my oldest was 6 months old...she'll be 7 in May. Early on, there was a revolving door of administrators...until Andrea started. Andrea was the administrator for the last 4 years and fostered a truly amazing environment in the center. It was an extended family. Home office sacked Andrea last week and is claiming she resigned. A clear lie. The majority of the staff has given notice in response, so I'm uncertain if I will have care for my 3 year old after next week. The trust has been broken. Irreparably at this point. The only possible solution is for the CEOO, head of HR, and site coordinator to all resign as they are clearly not qualified to do their job. Every day I pick my daughter up she is happy, and that is really the only test I have for places that take care of my kids. And now that she is used to it, she is always happy to arrive. The staff is well trained, patient, and they all seem to enjoy their job. I would recommend this day care to any of my friends and family with kids. read more

I started utilizing dr daycare when my daughter was 7 months old, and it didn't take long for the administration and staff to prove they were clueless, unprofessional and untrained. Although there were a few lead teachers in the infant rooms that my daughter loved, the "assistants" were rude, had no idea what they were doing, were in-and-out of different classrooms daily, and never bothered introducing themselves. I never knew who was going to be caring for my daughter. I'd drop her off to one person, and when I picked her up she'd be with Someone inexperienced whom I had never even met. The administration is a disaster in itself. The director is extremely unprofessional, and has no idea what she's doing. The site administrator Kate is a horrific woman who comes unannounced, doesn't know ANY of the children, and tries to dictate what's best for babies she's never even met. Although there were MANY problems with the facility, Kate ruined any positive experience I could have had there. She decided on her own to change my daughters nap schedule, went against what I told her was best for my daughter, and told me I should hire a babysitting service instead, and I could follow her rules or leave. Needless to say I left as soon as I could and ended up missing days of work because of her attitude and lack of knowledge when it comes to childcare. I spoke to the owner about Kate, who was just as unprofessional and clueless. Despite my complaints, and the complaints of several other parents, Kate remains employed. Aside from Kate, who could only be described as a power-hungry, miserable, abhorrent and stubborn person who has no one's best interest at heart but her own, my daughter was not properly cared for. She was constantly coming home dirty with stained clothes, messy face, injured, hungry, and thirsty. There were several instances where I picked her up and she had gone hours without anything to drink, to the point that I needed to bring two water bottles daily to make sure she had one available. The staff and administration there have no idea what they're doing and have no experience. The staff is unprofessional, trashy and never even appears to be put together. Not everyone can work in the childcare field, and I would challenge you to find more than two people at Dr. Daycare South County who actually know what they're doing. read more

My son has gone to Dr. daycare since he was 9 months old. The staff is very caring and kind. My son likes it there and he feels comfortable there. He has made a lot of friends and he has learned how to interact and share with other children. Dr. daycare has a great therapeutic program that is for children like my some that sometimes needs a little redirecting in certain areas.I like that they provide breakfast, lunch and snack it is really helpful. I trust Dr. daycare with my son and i would recommend it to other families! read more

I absolutely hate this daycare and I will never recommend anyone to this daycare. I was very thorough about my son's needs and they promised they would have no problem with helping him and yet the second they didn't want to deal with him anymore they found every reason and excuse to get rid of him. They are completely understaffed so my kids kept getting hurt because they were not being watched. When I asked where the incident report was it couldn't be found but yet when my kids were in trouble they were quick to write them up. I have had to bring by son to the dentist for his teeth getting messed up from being unsupervised, and have had to bring him to the doctors for a head injury and the staff member had the nerve to ask me if I wanted an incident report or if I was "good with what she told me." The majority of the staff has left obviously due to bad management. Caren is incredibly rude, and Nancy should be fired. I would trust a stranger with my kids before I trusted those two. They completely disrespect the staff making fun of them behind there back to the parents, and when approached about how they treat your children they have the nerve to say your child is a problem because he has a disability and they cannot not accommodate him. Bottom line don't trust these people with your children, and don't waste your time with the way they treat your kids because they are by far the most awful daycare you can associate with!!! read more

My child has been at Dr. Day Care for a little over a year now and while I know that there have been changes and i haven't loved everything the staff and Director have been amazing to my child as well as my family. Meg always has time for me if I need her to listen and most of the staff have also been welcoming and treated us like family. If I could give it no stars I would. This is the worst daycare that I have ever experienced. The director is extremely young and immature and she doesn't have any people skills. She doesn't put the children or employees first at all. The daycare is saved by the amazing teachers that are there. But the best teachers are leaving. Miss. Kayla, Miss. Cheyanne and Miss. Amanda are all leaving and they were some of the best teachers my child as well as myself had the pleasure to deal with. They kept that daycare worth dropping my child off at. If you are looking for a daycare to put your child in do not enroll in this one! Take it from a parent who has been in this nightmare for way too long. read more
