David has been my chiropractor for a few years now and I could not be more satisfied. He takes time to listen to personal physiological concerns and does not rush treatments; strictly one-on-one, so it's definitely not an "assembly line" configuration where other patients are waiting on adjacent tables waiting for their brief two-minute "adjustments". Highly recommended! read more

My desk job had resulted in a chronically sore right shoulder blade and I was finally ready to do something about it. Regular spa-type massages didn't really seem to have a lasting effect so I was wondering if going to a chiropractor would be better. I got referred to Dr. Schlute from a friend; I was looking for someone close to my area at a reasonable price and he seemed to fit the bill. Never having seen any other chiropractor regularly I wouldn't consider myself an expert, but I can tell you that after about 6 months of seeing Dr. Schlute about once a month my shoulder doesn't really bother me anymore. I think I can attribute it to the visits since my work habits haven't changed. Dr. Schlute is very personable and professional, and I enjoy my short and sweet adjustment visits. read more

David is a WONDERFUL chiropractor. He is so knowledgeable, gentle, professional, and very kind. He really works with the knowledge that the body is inter-connected. Adjusting one thing leads to changes elsewhere and vice versa. I went to him with major shoulder and neck pain that was causing headaches. I also was experiencing a lot of knee pain while running. After one adjustment, my body felt better, but pulled back into bad habits (as it always will). Second adjustment and doing well so far. No more headaches, knee pain is gone, and most importantly, I understand my body better and how to keep it healthy and working well. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Schlute for a professional, calming, and well-priced experience. Could not be more pleased! So glad I met him!!! read more

So I went to Dr. Schlute today, and I have to say I am pain free for the first time in 20 years. I've been in two accidents, one at the age of 12, the second was when I was 25. My back was always in pain, but it was manageable. Recently, it was getting worse with walking, sitting, working out. I decided I needed some relief and found Dr. Schlute on YouTube. I am so happy I went to him. It was instant relief and it felt like I was a new person. I highly recommend him!! The office was beautiful, I felt comfortable and left feeling delicious. I will definitely be bringing my father and husband for their Father's Day gift. read more

Here's a bio of the great Dr Dave! Dr. Schlute was born and raised in Colorado where he competed in several sports, and was honored with several awards both in high school and college. He continues to be an avid cyclist, runner, weight lifter, and triathlete. After completing his B.S. degree in Exercise Science and finishing Massage Therapy school, Dr. Schlute was training for a half-Ironman competition and developed three disc herniations in his low back from overtraining. Standard medical care didn't work, and Chiropractic was the only thing that offered any pain relief. In only 2 short weeks he was 100% out of pain and competing again. It was then that Dr. Schlute decided to become a sports medicine Chiropractor to help others with similar conditions. Dr. Schlute has the rare combination of a degree in Exercise Science, Certified Massage Therapist, and licensed Chiropractor, combined with certifications in Kinesiotape and numerous soft tissue methods. Getting trained by the top Chiropractors in the field, as well as working along side some of the most esteemed and distinguished medical specialists has allowed him to develop an arsenal of proven techniques to get people better quickly. In 2008 Dr. Schlute was awarded the "Outstanding New D.C. Award" by the California Chiropractic Association because of his efforts and commitment to the profession and within the community. Dr. Schlute is currently the Sports Chiropractor for the Long Beach Chapter for Team in Training, Run Racing Team, and is a provider at various local cycling, marathon, and triathlon events. read more

If anyone is looking for an AWESOME, local Chiropractor, I would HIGHLY recommend, Dr. Schlute @ Ultimate Wellness LB. He's VERY professional, patient and understanding. I pulled a rib out of place (because I am the shit magnet ) sometime yesterday and ALMOST had the hubs call 911 last night because I couldn't move or breath and was in extreme, excruciating pain. We put a call in to Dr Schlute this morning, who gave me an adjustment and put everything back in place. I slept from 2:30pm until 7:00pm and am 95% better!!! Thank you again Dr. Schulte. You ARE the best as ALWAYS . read more

I was referred to Dr. Dave by my husbands personal trainer who is located across the street from him on Broadway in the Belmont Heights neighborhood. I have been getting adjustments during my pregnancy, but the chiropractor I was previously seeing was having trouble getting my hips to cooperate . I went to Dr. Schulte today and got (hopefully) my last adjustment before baby comes. This guy has magic hands! My hips are so tight and hard to adjust so he placed a block under my hips for a min, tried again and Voila- magic! If you live in the Shore or heights he is the guy to see. I look forward to postnatal adjustments from him to help get my body back in balance post-baby. read more

Dr. Schlute is by far the best chiropractor I've ever been too. I've been having issues with my ankle for months that even the podiatrist was unable to diagnose. So far, I've had just one adjustment with him and the ankle issue has improved at least 90% within the first 24 hours. He took so much time and adjusted every part of my body. I didn't know my joints could ever feel this good again. In addition to being an excellent chiropractor, he is such a lovely person and you feel like he truly cares. read more

Dr. Dave Schlute has helped me tremendously over the last few years I have been seeing him. I have been getting treatment for many sports related injuries and also general wellness at times. Dave is really an outstanding Dr. and has a great understanding for how to heal the body and to improve your overall health. He has helped me immensely to speed my recovery and reduce pain. I have seen other Chiropractors over the years and can say Dave is easily the best! I highly recommend Dr. Schlute and even if you have to drive a ways, it will be well worth making the trip as he is an amazing healer! read more

Excellent chiropractor. Excellent service, very very knowledgeable. I've seen many chiropractors in my life and Dr. Dave is one of the best!

I have been to many Chiropractors over the years and Dr. Schlute is by far the best. He determines where the pain is coming from and does his adjustments accordingly. He also doesn't just make adjustments. Since he is a massage therapist as well, he does deep tissue work when needed. He has helped me with chronic back and knee pain, so much so that I have been able to exercise again. He has also used treatments that have broken up scar tissue in my knee, which has given me full range of motion, which physical therapy could not do. He is incredibly kind and compassionate. I can't say enough good things about him. I highly recommend him. read more

I found Dr David from Youtube because I was so fed up with chiropractors who didn't know how to adjust that I wanted to find one who actually demonstrated their skills in video. I think Dr David is the best chiropractor you'll find. He is willing to work with you to find a tailored solution to your health and spinal needs. Because everyone is different. But most importantly he knows how to adjust. Most chiropractors do not know how to get joints and bones to move. They just pretend they adjusted you or do not know how to fully move joints. Some treat people like an assembly line and give everyone the exact same adjustment, which most of the time doesn't really work. Dr David knows how to adjust the neck, back, extremities, ankles, shoulders, you name it and he'll find the right technique to get things aligned and you feeling good again. Don't go to some wannabe chiropractor who charges you a ton of money for an initial consultation, x-ray, puts you on some expensive payment plan and overall puts you on a run-around while he or she is not moving any joints but says they are. You know what I am talking about. Bad neck, bad back, bad posture, poor health? Dr David will get you back on track and feeling 100%. His adjustments are super affordable and he will work with you to find the right adjustment to move that neck or back. Great guy too, very nice and humble. Dr David is the first person you should see if you're looking for a chiropractor. read more

I had been having pain in my left hip that my primary doctor could not identify. X-rays, exams, another chiropractor and nothing helped. The worst part about it was that I couldn't sleep. Every time I moved my hips I would wake up in pain. I went to a health fair and had a complementary massage by Dr. Schlute. I was telling him about my hip pain and he was giving me explanations on why based on my current back/joint alignment. With the new information I felt hopeful he might be able to help me. I scheduled an appointment and walked me through everything he did. Not only did he align things, but he stretched me and continued to adjust until things were where they needed to be. He said to give it a week to see how it felt. It felt amazing! No pain! It's been a few weeks and I'm really to go back and see how long I can go this time. I decided to schedule a massage this next visit, so excited to see how that goes. If your in pain definitely go to Dr. Schlutz he has tremendous knowledge to come up with a plan that will work for you. read more

I've been seeing Dave off and on since 2011. I'm probably one of his most successful (long periods of pain-free) but difficult patients to unravel when I get locked up which happens about once a year. My muscularity is both a blessing and a curse for me when I get stressed and/or imbalanced and it therefore requires not any run of the mill Chiropractor to get me right. Plus to complicate matters I've also had previous back surgeries. What I really appreciate about Dave is he is ever wanting to learn new techniques to add to his repertoire. He is unique in that he is both a massage therapist and Chiropractor rolled into one. He listens, provides great advice, thinks outside-of-the-box and always looking to improve. Plus he's got to be a helluva strong guy to handle a physique like mine. read more
