Dr. Bita Orthodontic Group - Waiting room - Orthodontists Near Me - Encino, California

PATIENT BEWARE/SCAMMER ALERT Dr Bita and staff are not dental professionals and do not care about you or your kids (wonder how many dental malpractice lawsuits they have and are you interested in a future legal battle?).. as my neighbor texted me after her child's consult with Dr Bita.... its "ALL A MONEY GRAB". PLEASE GET AT LEAST 2 OTHER ORTHODONTIC CONSULTS, THEY ARE ALL FREE (Dr Bita/staff may stalk you in this time to sign contracts which is a big red flag) - Our experience. Visited May 2026. Signed contract and paid a big deposit. * July 2026. Waited 8 weeks for retainers for both my kids... which never arrived! They take 2-3 weeks for all other orthodontists. Dr Bita blamed Fed Ex! Staff was rude and belligerent including Dr Bita when I refused to accept delayed treatment. Apparently this is done to everyone btw. * Was sent to an oral surgeon referred by Dr Bita who said my son didn't need surgery for a few years. Went to a 2nd ortho and 2nd oral surgeon who showed me my son needed urgent surgery as his impacted tooth had penetrated his jaw bone! Ultimately Dr Bita didn't want my son to have surgery to interfere with her money grab! Absolute dental malpractice. * Parents, please listen to all the Dr Bita horror stories from families and friends. One child was left with an expander in her mouth for about 12 months a fellow mom told me! BTW she gives every child an expander whether they need it or not (both other orthos we consulted with actually disagreed on expanders for my kids). One plan fits all here. No custom treatment. I guess all children have the same teeth and jaw.. *Lastly please for the best interest of your children visit another orthodontist with a solid reputation. The amount of dental malpractice cases in astonishing in California I have since learned. This is a warning from one warrior parent to others! The complaints about her are endless. Just ask around! ZERO STARS! FROM MS HONESTY. read more

TLDR: Save your time and money, go somewhere else! The 5 Star reviews are paid for through rewards and not genuine! This was one of the worst experiences I've had with any healthcare provider. The level of professionalism from both the doctor and staff was shockingly low, especially for an office managing long-term treatment. Communication was inconsistent, and interactions often felt dismissive, careless, and at times outright disrespectful. The office staff were particularly unpleasant to deal with--rude, unhelpful, and clearly more focused on money than patient care. It felt like concerns were brushed aside rather than addressed, which made the entire experience frustrating and uncomfortable. Even more concerning is the apparent push for positive reviews through incentives, which calls into question the authenticity of the office's high ratings. It gives a very misleading impression of what patients can actually expect. Overall, I would strongly advise others to avoid this office if you value professionalism, transparency, and genuine patient care. read more

My daughter has been seeing Dr Bita for several years and she is the absolute best and the only orthodontist we'll see. This is coming from a retired dentists daughter who has only been to the very best. I will use Dr Bita when it's time for me to get Invisalign. The office staff is amazing. They make you feel at home and we've built relationships over the time with the staff. I love that she has two locations now because it's convenient from home and now from school. It'll be so weird when my daughter's treatment is eventually over, but then I guess I'll be back for my treatment. I would recommend (and have) to anyone looking for an amazing orthodontist and team that supports her. read more

Dr. Bita is my favorite orthodontist! I had braces in my teens and had Invisalign treatment as an adult to correct a tooth that shifted. Dr. Bita and her team are amazing, friendly, helpful, and encouraging. I enjoyed my experience and will definitely refer others to Dr. Bita's Orthodontic Group. read more

Wow. All I have to say is that Dr. Bita's orthodontist is probably the best experience I've ever had. I've struggled with generalized anxiety disorder my entire life and avoided fixing my teeth for years because of it. Dr. Bita was my very first visit as I gradually exposed myself to other orthodontist competitors. After visiting other orthodontists, I realized I should have stopped looking after my first encounter with Dr. Bita. They provide a clear, upfront pricing structure. While some may perceive them as slightly (key word: slightly) more expensive, it is not significant in the long run. With Dr. Bita, you receive various payment options through their payment program with no hidden fees. My experience with other orthodontists was quite different. Several weeks after consulting with other orthodontists, such as Evergreen located in the Encino Plaza, I received unexpected charges on my insurance ranging from $1,000 to $1,500 for various tests. This was very disappointing and frustrating. Dr. Bita does not engage in such practices. Other orthodontists informed me that there was little hope for my teeth due to my age and insisted on frequent visits that did not align with my hectic schedule and frequent relocations. Dr. Bita, however, worked with me to develop a flexible treatment plan tailored to my needs, ensuring the best possible outcome. I regret spending time seeking other orthodontists when Dr. Bita was the ideal choice from the beginning. This practice was recommended to me by a close friend, and now I highly recommend it to any family. As social workers dedicated to community service, my friend and I understand the importance of trust and integrity. If you are searching for an orthodontist, consider this a sign to stop looking. The customer service is excellent, and the staff is highly competent and accommodating. Their commitment to providing employment opportunities in the field is commendable. I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Bita herself, and my positive impressions were confirmed. This place is as good as it seems, and I eagerly anticipate my upcoming appointments. In addition, I am looking forward to my first Invisalign treatment. This is great. Looking forward to a bright new future. Thank you to the entire team, including the insurance and financial department. Special thanks to Denise for her assistance. read more

Our daughter has been going to Dr. Bita for a few years and the experience has been nothing short of amazing! Vastly different than my experience with braces in the early 80s. The staff has always been very professional and personable--a rare combination. We've always felt that our daughter has been in extremely competent hands with Drs. Bita and Hudson. They also did not start her on braces immediately, but rather followed her for a year before it was the right time to begin treatment. read more

The staff here are amazing beyond words! They helped me through a very stressful situation in addition to providing excellent orthodontic care to my kids. By a rare chance, I got into a major car accident in front of their building when I was on my way to take my kids here. While I was waiting in hot weather for my insurance to process the accident, Dr. Bita's staff allowed me to drop off my kids at her office while I was sorting out my car accident mess. After I dropped off my kids with them, Dr. Bita put an expander on one kid and examined another kid and these all happened when I was calling my insurance, talking to the other party involved in the accident, dropping off my car at a repair shop to be repaired and picking up another vehicle to return back to their office to get my kids. Their staff Denise actually looked after my kids after everything was complete and the rest of the staff went to lunch. Upon returning to their office, I was still greeted by all staff with a lot of patience, calmness and understanding. I really appreciate them for always going above and beyond in looking out for their patients. read more

I know Bita has great reviews but I did not have a good experience. I have a medical issue that can make orthodontia risky and I went in for a consult to assess risk and options. Bita seemed to brush off my concerns as no big deal, which annoyed me as other dentists have raised it as an issue. Frankly it seemed like she just wanted my money. I am now seeing an orthodontist who took my concerns seriously and designed a custom path for me that is conservative and that manages the risk involved. If you have any special situations that are outside the "norm" I would stay away. read more

Dr Bita has been AMAZING. We found Dr Bita via all of her support to local charities like SOLL baseball and all the local schools that she donates to. We really love all the support she gives back to the community. We also got recommendations from friends that go to her and have had nothing but positive experiences. Our 10yr old has been going to her for years now and he loves her and always feels relaxed whenever he has an appointment. His teeth are looking amazing and he loves smiling.
