Well, Hill Country Dental took my X-rays in 2020 then 2025 and then they tried to take these X-rays again in 2026 and wanted me to pay out of pocket around $200. When i asked them to just skip the X-rays because it was too soon for my insurance coverage they said I could not and they would not even complete my scheduled cleaning. I waited for 6 months for this appt and they refused my routine cleaning because they did not properly schedule my X-rays. HC Dental is either completely mismanaged or they were trying to scam my into paying out of pocket which I'm sure is more then insurance reimbursement. Side note- My wife and 2 kids left this practice about 2 years ago for scheduling issues with their front desk staff. Would definitely NOT recommend this practice to anyone in the Fair Oaks Ranch area.

When I called Lifetime Dental, they happened to have a cancellation so I could be seen in just a few days. My husband would have to wait until May. Since I had what I thought was a cracked tooth, I was grateful to be seen so quickly. The office person mentioned that if my husband filled out his paperwork & was flexible, it was possible he could get an earlier appointment too when a cancellation came up. My morning appointment was during the hard freeze warnings so I asked my husband to drive out with me not knowing what to expect of ice on the roads. And probably because of that, there was another cancellation so he ended up establishing care the same day too! Kelsay was my hygienist & it was apparent right away how knowledgeable & experienced she was. She did a fabulous job on my x-rays & cleaning. She also said the doctor would need to confirm, but the crack appeared to be surface crazing rather than a serious crack. She made recommendations for a mouth exercise since it looked like I was clenching or grinding my teeth. And she was also very encouraging & motivating. A former dentist told me to give up my electric toothbrush since it was contributing to my receding gums, but Kelsay said that hasn't been supported by research & said an electric toothbrush would help me do a better job with cleaning. My husband & I left with clean teeth & no issues so we had minimal time with Dr Hatcher. But we feel confident the Lord led us to a dental office that will be capable of dealing with any needs that arise in the future.

The only reason I am giving 4 out of 5 stars is because his office billed me for bringing my two year old (at the time) in for her first dental appointment and literally all she did was sit in the chair. She didn't get her teeth cleaned, didn't see the dentist, didn't get the new toothbrush, etc. $75ish for sitting in a chair? I think not.
