A few weeks ago I visited a dentist and was told I needed a number of things done - 11 cavities, 1 crown, a night guard (even though I told this dentist that I didn't grind my teeth, nor did I preference one side while chewing), as well as a deep gum cleaning. The total charge out of pocket was going to be 4k after my insurance. I decided to get a second opinion from Dr. Gasperini. Dr. Gasperini was so kind and gentle and explained everything that he was going to do before doing it. I never had any of those awkward moments where my mouth was left open needlessly. Very aware of the comfort level of his patients. In the end, Dr. Gasperini told me I needed only one filling! Only one filling! I trust this doctor completely, and have found my new dentist. He reviewed the report from my endodontist that performed the root canal due to an infection in this tooth and Dr. Z said it sure was a bad infection! This crown was recently put in by another dental practice and was left untreated for months after it was sensitive to hot & cold temperatures. "Batman" said I had too much going on with my teeth and that he would not treat me. My lower jaw and gums have been hurting for a while due to impacted wisdom teeth that 2 oral surgeons are afraid to extract and other specialists misdiagnosed me with TMJ. Due to the fact that I have problems , he stated that my case is too complicated and he referred me to a specialist, which is defined as the branch of dentistry that deals with the restoration and maintenance of oral function by the replacement of missing teeth and other oral structures by artificial devices. Note that I do not have any missing teeth and that Dr. Joel Zaritski didn't even take the time to look at my in my mouth and at my teeth. I even asked, "you mean you wouldn't even do a filling out some cosmetic bonding?" NO he answered, nothing as he stood as far away from me as he could with his arms crossed! Make sure your dental work doesn't take much work or intelligence as this practice doesn't seem to want to work, think or do business with someone who needed a bit of compassion! No Magic trick performed this time "BATMAN" ... so fly away, fly away !!!

Town Center Dental makes me feel comfortable and at ease. I recently moved back to the Hudson Valley and had to find a new dentist. I went elsewhere for a cleaning (which was fine) but then I had some intense tooth pain. I went to two different dentists and they both wanted to remove two teeth. I was like waaaaait.... what??? I just remember an old dentist saying, "A tooth in the mouth is better than two in the hand." Save the tooth if you can. Why did they want to pull them? It didn't feel right. So I started to search for a new dentist and found Town Center Dental via Google search. I rolled the dice and went in. As I went into the office, I was greeted by a wonderful reception staff and a bright, clean atmosphere. I met with Dr. Paes and lo and behold I didn't actually have a tooth infection and I most definitely did NOT have to remove two teeth. Phew! I would have been LIVID if I had just listened to the other butchers. So I decided to stick with Dr. Paes. Since then, I've had a bridge removed, an implant implanted (lol) and two crowns to cover the teeth from the bridge. The implant surgery and bridge removal were painless and seamless. He's seriously made a major difference in this short time. Also - side note. They have a CEREC machine which is super cool. CEREC is a computer that takes impressions of your teeth digitally. Basically that means you do not have to use that gooooey impression gunk and that hard metal tray to make impressions of your teeth. It's a wand that scans your mouth. AND the machine makes perfect crowns while you wait. PRETTY. FREAKIN'. AWESOME. And lastly, I know a little bit about dental pricing and it ain't cheap, but Town Center Dental is competitive and fairly priced and I promise you (so far...) it has been worth EVERY penny.

He had to work with broken equipment and after 30 or so minutes fixed it with plastic, tape, ​and a rubber band. His work during an implant proved he lacks the necessary skill set to pwrform the implant without causing additional pain. I twice complained to Dr Paes about the bullying and lack of professional skill by Dr Park, but he did nothing. A friend recommended Dr. NIcoletti and I am glad he did. The office is a typical dentist office but the staff was very knowledgeable and able to navigate through my insurance/billing. Then it was time to do the work. The Dr. explained everything to me in terms of what I was going to expect, all of my options, he was very patient with my questions and woila. In no time, my dental work was done...he was very gentle, quick and I did not feel any pain, any annoying mouth suctions, dry mouth, nada. Best of all, my teeth and smile look AMAZING.
