It was Tuesday evening December 20th. After having to ask one of the four salesman to come help us (no other customers in the store) these are the highlights of our experience. We were told (all with a dismissive attitude): 1. They don't have a way to measure children's sizes even though they sell children's shoes. 2. They don't know how to read different children's sizes. (i.e. 2 VS. 10W). Instead, just continued to read the numbers on the labels to me. 3. Their children's shoes don't have Velcro. (Not, I'm sorry we're sold out of children's shoes with Velcro or something else more plausible.) I have worked in customer service for years, and I would have never treated a customer with such a flippant and dismissive attitude. If this was a new hire, coworkers can be asked, there's always smartphones and Google, and there is simply 'I'm not sure, but let me find out for you.' When I was working in a new field, I had to say this a lot. In doing so, I learned about the industry and gave my customers a positive experience. We put back the shoes we had found and hurried out the door. I really hope this was a fluke experience, as buying shoes from Rudolph's has been a tradition for my family whenever we came together.

There was NO EXPLANATION, just order cancelled. I called their customer service line. The woman there said the order was cancelled by their card processor over fraud concern. WTF? I asked for solution. She said I could try placing another order. WHY would I want to spend another 15 minutes doing that, when the result is guaranteed to be identical. I asked her to solve my problem, not tell me why HER system failed. After 10 minutes on hold, she came back and told me, oh, I don't have a way to fix this. What a shop! I'm on a cross country solo tour and I walked into this shop in dire need of new…read moretires, tubes, a chain, and some general bike loving. I did the unspeakable and asked if it was possible to get the bike by the end of the following day and although a bit busy in general this season, they take bike-tourers under their wings whenever possible. For a shop that only had one review on Yelp, I was seriously worried - but no reason to be! This is a REAL BIKE SHOP!!!! Hahaha! They have all the goodies that you may need. Be prepared if you need 26" you're gonna need to call ahead to order. A basic tune costs $65 bucks and they'll call you if you need anything additional. I took the only skinny pair of 26" tires and the last two tubes (26x1.5) the only downside to this is that they tossed one of my current tubes and I could've patched it :( so now I have two tubes on the bike and only 1 extra. Aside from my gear, the shop specializes in Specialized Bikes with everything from MTB, road, fatty snow bikes, and touring. They've got loads of shoes, jerseys, shorts, shoes, and helmets to chose from. Handlebar tape, tire levers, bike snacks (waffles and shot blocks,) patch kits, and saddle bags galore! Thanks guys for an overall GREAT experience!
