It was Tuesday evening December 20th. After having to ask one of the four salesman to come help us (no other customers in the store) these are the highlights of our experience. We were told (all with a dismissive attitude): 1. They don't have a way to measure children's sizes even though they sell children's shoes. 2. They don't know how to read different children's sizes. (i.e. 2 VS. 10W). Instead, just continued to read the numbers on the labels to me. 3. Their children's shoes don't have Velcro. (Not, I'm sorry we're sold out of children's shoes with Velcro or something else more plausible.) I have worked in customer service for years, and I would have never treated a customer with such a flippant and dismissive attitude. If this was a new hire, coworkers can be asked, there's always smartphones and Google, and there is simply 'I'm not sure, but let me find out for you.' When I was working in a new field, I had to say this a lot. In doing so, I learned about the industry and gave my customers a positive experience. We put back the shoes we had found and hurried out the door. I really hope this was a fluke experience, as buying shoes from Rudolph's has been a tradition for my family whenever we came together.

I shop here mainly for my husband. He was gifted a flannel button-up for Christmas 2020 and it was too small so I needed to go exchange the shirt. Store didn't have any more. No big deal, found a different one. Waited in line for 16min before being informed that their computers were down and couldn't do an exchange. Wow...glad no one said anything to all of us waiting!!!!! (About 3 people in line left after they finally announced that.) Went back a week later and did the exchange. No problem. Found out about an hour later they left the security tag on. Took me another 10min line wait to get it removed because only 1 person was working and they were in small argument with a customer about boot stretching. Another employee came from the back, I flagged her down and she took off the tag. I've done plenty of retail...if there's a line you speak to the other people in line. Especially for a more expensive store such as this one. *sigh* Customer service isn't what it used to be. Or should be.

He also took my old bike in for service and explained the process in the perfect detail. In addition the day before on the phone Michael was also very very helpful (as he always has been). These guys do the best job at having a great and helpful and very knowledgeable attitude always. It's the reason why this retail store is excelling. The service is exceptional. She informed me they don't allow accessory exchanges. A friend had already warned our card group about their bad business policies after the owner refused to honor a $200 gift certificate her daughters gifted her for her bday. The owner told her she'd announced on Facebook that they would no longer allow previous certificates. But my friend doesn't subscribe to FB and knew nothing of it.
