He briefed us that only churros/chocolate and montaditos (like a panini sandwich) were being served. Like most of the people dining that night we got their famous churros and chocolates. Since we sat near the fryer, it was the perfect opportunity to watch them swirl around the dough in hot oil to make their spiral shaped churros. The plate of torn up churros was delivered hot and a little greasy. The dipping chocolate was smooth and just coated our churros as the must have side. However the churros were a little more oily than I preferred. Our montaditos came last and were right sized for us. Bread was grilled and a little crisp with generous tuna or jamon inside. It was a nice counter to our churros. Overall reasonable prices and lively spot for a quick meal or just churros.

Both English and Spanish menus are very convenient for visitors, plus they probably have the friendliest staff on the planet! Always smiling, trying out their ways to help and make the best decisions for you. I'd totally w be willing to give a 6-star here if I'm given the choice! Food is awesome too! Tropical hot is an amazing smoothie! Also the egg Benedict salmon avocado toast is a boon from the first bite! The only tiny little drawback is that they used wood bowl and wood spoon for the açaí bowl which gave it a bit too much of wood smell. Be here by 11:30 if you want any - if they run out of dough they'll not offer any churros. Usually packed between 10am and 1pm. They are open the same hours Sunday when Antonio's Dad works the tables and shouts out the orders in a slightly "loud" voice. He's unique and a Rota icon. I usually come here to have a cafe manchado while reading the Diario de Cadiz.

We walked here after spending three breathtaking hours at the Royal Alcázar of Seville. I ordered the power salad. It was a beautiful combination of tender moist chicken and quinoa and garbanzo beans and greens with a yummy pesto dressing. Everything was so fresh. The pesto dressing was delicious and not overly salted like so many restaurants tend to do these days. The ladies behind the counter were very friendly and accommodating. This cafe is clean and comfortable. It was the perfect spot to reenergize and have a fresh and delicious lunch. They have other offerings that look so good as well. And if you get there before 2:00 p.m., you can order from the breakfast menu. Thank you, Filo, for serving deliciously healthy food. I thoroughly enjoyed this meal.

We ordered the Forrest bowl and the granola was the best part. It's drizzled with honey and different berries are included along with yogurt. The best part was the salmon bagel we ordered. Doesn't seem like anything special on paper...but it was legit the best salmon bagel I've had. I only knocked off one star because there were ants crawling around and some flies were in the store. I guess in terms of sanitation that doesn't really make me feel great that they're bugs but I noticed it was only on the seat near the wall (so avoid that!) and flies can't be helped too much when you are going in and out of a store.

Tapas are not particularly memorable but dirt cheap... all under €2.00. Go for the feeling of timelessness, the bullfight photos, the oldtimers chatting at the bar. Great place.
