Somethings have changed at this place, so it's not great like it used to be but it's still very very good. During the week they have all you can eat specials, which are always fantastic. And honestly, I never asked for a second plate because they pile the first plate high. Service is always fantastic and it's something that I look forward to doing once her choice a month as I have been for the past three years.

My sister and I stopped by here on the way back to Philly, and we both enjoyed our meals. I had the shrimp scampi which was delicious. Plenty of garlicky broth for the shrimp and fettuccini! My sister really enjoyed her Chesapeake Chicken - plenty of crab meat and she enjoyed the Imperial sauce, as well. She said the chicken breast was done just right. The presentations our our platters made them look enticing - we couldn't wait to dig in! We did start with potato skins which were yummy! Our side salads were crispy and fresh. Our waitress was very friendly, helpful and funny. I look forward to going again during my trips back and forth from VA To Pa! Check them out! PS Next time, I plan on sitting in the old diner - it looks so cute in there with the fifties vibe - the counter with stool and the old time booths :0)

Reuben sandwich lunch special for $12.99

I was on the way back from Ocean City Maryland driving north on US 113, and saw Doyle's Restaurant along the way. It was lunch time so I thought I'd stop and get some lunch. There a traffic light right at the restaurant so it was easy to get across the highway to it. Lots of parking. On entry everything looked clean and neat. Was greeted promptly and offered choice of seats. The server arrived promptly to get my beverage order. There was a small board with specials listed on the way to the dining room with one of them being a Reuben sandwich with fries. I opted that special. The food came out very quickly and was piping hot. Fries were good, similar to most diners (probably frozen precuts), and a good sized serving. The Reuben itself had good flavor, but the meat was sliced a bit thick, and some parts were a little tough, so not great. The rye bread was lightly toasted, but one side seemed a little soggy, probably from sauerkraut juice. All the servers were very friendly and checked on customers frequently. All in all not a bad experience but a little disappointing. I'd give them another chance next time I come through.

This is the 4 ingredient, 1 cheese, 3 egg omelet, with home fries and toast - this meal is $11.99 - a great value!

My husband and I visit Doyle's frequently, always for Breakfast. The food is fresh, reasonably priced and hot. The staff is friendly and swift. We love this place!

We arrived between…read morelunch and dinner on a Saturday afternoon and both the restaurant and bar were almost empty. I thought that was a bad sign, but shortly after we arrived seats started filling quickly. I couldn't believe how big the bar was -- it seemed like it wrapped around the entire restaurant. I also loved how they used oyster shells in multiple places as decoration. Our bartender was great. She was so friendly and interacted with us often between helping customers. She also made a great Orange Crush per my parents and Aunts which is a huge plus in their eyes. I stuck with the $4 Big Oyster Brewery drafts as part of Happy Hour which I think is a great deal for craft beer. My dad and I split a half dozen oysters and Happy Hour Fish & Chips. The oysters were definitely fresh and worth the $11 price point on HH. The Fish & Chips, which I highly recommend, were lightly battered, flaky Cod fried perfectly and the boardwalk fries were a great complement. My wife ordered the crab dip, which it seems she always gravitates to whenever she sees it on a menu, and LOVED it! She described it as, "hot, bubbly, delicious, and crabby!" The reason this review was not 5 stars (it very well could have been -- and it easily could have been less had we arrived sooner or later) is because our bartender's shift was over prior to us leaving. We closed out with her and started a new tab with the shift change. We ordered another Orange Crush, made by one of the new bartenders, and it was completely different (way too much soda and nearly no orange juice). When pointed out to the bartender that his Crush was much different than the first bartender's, he remade it with way too much OJ and no garnish. Maybe it was just me but the way he took away the original Crush and put the remade Crush back on the bar just seemed like he was annoyed. I'm not one to complain about food/drink but visually and to the taste, both of the Crushes he made were nowhere near similar to the ones our original bartender made. We visit Selbyville annually for our family vacation and will definitely be back. The service and the $11 Orange Crushes were, for the most part, great, and we really enjoyed the food we ordered.

So ... it wasn't a great first visit…read more We went yesterday and they were out of a number of things. Tried to order fish and chips with cod or haddock . I guess I still could've gotten them if I was okay with Salmon, Sword Fish, or some other non whitefish. My buddy tried to justify it by saying it's St Pattys day ... like the business didn't know that. I next tried fried chicken. Oops ... outta that too. In coastal Delaware? The chicken capital of the mid Atlantic. The table ordered crab dip that apparently comes with tortilla chips with a little old bay sprinkled on them. When you try to dip the tortilla in the crab dip the chip breaks... To the owner or manager ... it's awkward and doesn't work. And for a $1.50 you can add a dinner roll sized loaf of bread. It just feels like intentional nickel pinching. For me I settled on the Jambalaya... honestly the shrimp were nice but the dish didn't really taste like what it was meant to represent. And there wasn't enough rice to make it worth the mid $20s price tag. Finally, one of our group was drinking her mixed drink and there was a fruit fly in the ice. He was nice about it and replaced it with another. It happens when you use fruit as garnish. The place was decorated nice, and the service was pretty good. The only other criticism.... When they were out or fried fish and chicken I was going to pivot to wings.... But man $18.00 for chicken wings. And you know it's actually half a wing (a drum or flap). I guess I could live with it when wings were scarce but not now. If they had chicken I could've gotten a breast and two whole wings with 2 sides for $21.50. So you are paying $18.00 for 3 whole wings a couple of tablespoons of sauce, a couple celery sticks, and a condiment cup of ranch or blue cheese. Honestly I probably won't go back.

I love the teamwork so I won't harp on how long it took for me to get my food. Three day cheesesteak with side of chipotle bbq- now I'm a lover of cheesesteaks and Roadie Joe's all the same especially since I lived in Salisbury majority of my stay in the shore. So why not stick with my go to classic?? The presentation? but everything else- Hard pass... the sub was meaty GREAT, but it was chewy and there was only a slight taste of flavor as if it literally 3 days stale I tasted meat and the sauce I put in it that's it. Everything felt just a little past their prime. Service was friendly and inquisitive of this road warrior, and my Roadie Turkey Club Sandwich was quite good and filling. I took half home. Plenty of beer and cocktails about, but as a driver I opted for water with lemon. There aren't many weigh stations along this stretch of 113, so Roadie Joe's certainly serves a purpose and has quick access both north and southbound. Not a bad place to brush off the road dust, stretch the legs, grab a bite and use the plumbing. If you have more time, a cruise into the heart of Berlin is also worth while. 3.5 Road Weary Stars

I went to this location multiple times in 2023-2025. They opened in September 2023, which was the 2nd location in MD. This is about 15 miles from my home, which isn't too far. Then, Columbia location opened, which is closer at about 10 miles. The first location in MD was way up in Towson. I was up that way in March 2023 for a trivia tournament and thought to get an early lunch at Raising Cane's as I was excited to try at the time the only location in MD, but parking was a pain and line was too long. So, I ended up eating at the trivia tournament venue. Then, in September 2023, they opened this 2nd MD location here on a Friday. I went on its 2nd day that Saturday as coincidentally, I had a trivia tournament. It was a madhouse on route 3 in the left lane getting in here. I ended up parking on the Wendy's side as it was too hectic in there; you're not supposed to do that, and I never did that again, but that 1st weekend was hectic. Line was long, but they were going as quickly as they could. I was a bit nervous about my timing, but eventually, I got my food, ate a bit quicker than usual, and drove the 5 minutes to the trivia tournament. It was delicious. I love the chicken tenders, fries, & Texas toast here. I don't really like coleslaw, but I don't mind theirs. The baskets come with a drink, and I get half sweet/half unsweet tea every time, and it's freshly brewed. My girlfriend & I went to this location a couple of times mostly in 2024. Chicken baskets are always on point. In June 2024, we bumped into someone from trivia, which we three were going to tournament. He loved Raising Cane's probably even more than me. He said he lived very close to here and would come here sometimes multiple times a week. He also replaced fries (which is unhealthy) with more Texas toast (which is also unhealthy but maybe less so), and he loved the Texas toast more than fries. I agree with him on that here, but I want the fries as I want the variety. I'll keep coming back as a Caniac!
