See below for update. TLDR- manager took it upon himself to make it right…read more I will be avoiding this place at all costs in the future. I price shopped and found a gas range that I liked. The Brick was able to get it in before any of their competitors. It was difficult to order from their website - it doesn't work very well. I did manage to get the order completed, and despite opting out of the marketing emails, the spam started immediately. The order status for the range was unclear and was never updated. I did call the store and was assured that the range would be available for pickup on Saturday. I was also assured that there would be people there to assist with loading. Pulled up to the freight door and was told I had to go to another door that was at ground level. There was no clear signage. An employee appeared with the range on a small hand truck. I had to help this unfortunate employee lift a 200 pound stove onto the truck. (I checked the shipping weight.) Got the unit home and waited for a week for a third party propane technician to do the install (hired by me.) This involves, among other things swapping the natural gas screw-in burner jets to propane burner jets. The technician informed me that one of the jets had been over tightened during manufacturing and was stripped, consequently the propane jet could not be installed. I contacted LG and they said the range needed to be returned to the store. I called The Brick and was told that I needed to send a photo of the broken part to the store via email And that they would call me right back. I explained that it was urgent as the propane installer was drilling holes and running lines in the house to install a range that we could not fully use. I sent the photo and waited for half an hour and received no response either by email or phone. I then called the store and there was no answer. I let the phone ring for a long period of time hung up and tried two more times. All with no answer. I then asked my friend to borrow their phone. This time when I called from a different number, it was was answered on the second ring. The sales agent seemed a bit surprised that it was me. I can only assume that they were screening my number. So much for customer service. I was told that the manager was busy on the phone and would get back to me. As of writing of this review, I have yet to receive any kind of response. Ultimately, thanks to online parts diagrams, I was able to figure out what parts were needed for the repair and order them from LG. Be sure to read the fine print on their website. Scroll past the "satisfaction guaranteed part" and look at the return policy. "If your product arrives in less than perfect condition, contact us within 48 hours and we will be happy to assist you. " So if you are having an appliance installed, you have 2 days to after you receive it determine if it's defective. Tough luck if the installer isn't available. In my case, it took one week for the propane installer to come which is frankly exceptionally good. How would I have any idea that it was defective? The Brick was definitely not happy to assist me and I feel that once they make the sale, I am on my own. The Brick sold me a broken stove, provided no support whatsoever and won't even return my call. Beware! ----update Dec 15, 2021-- While I was trying to get LG to honour their warranty , I get an email from The Brick indicating that my new stove had arrived. This was the first proactive communication I received from them on the issue. would have been good to hear from them before this happened. I called the store and was referred to the manager, Derek, who was empathetic and helpful . He apologized for the issue and wanted to make it right. I told him that I did not want to go through the hassle of replacing the range when a small part and repair would do the trick. We agreed that replacement would be the last resort and that I would continue to try and get warranty service from LG. After much back and forth with LG it was clear that although they were willing to honour their warranty, they could not find a technician to do the repair and the part was back ordered. They offered to replace the range but did not offer to cover costs of delivery, installation or conversion to propane. At this point, we contacted Derek and he made arrangements for the replacement to range to be delivered, and ensured that there we were not charged for the installation and propane conversion. Meanwhile, I noticed that the range went on sale and the Brick refunded us the difference according to their policy. So that was nice. So lots of frustration all around and it took someone like Derek to make it right.

We bought a 40" tv took it home set it up, it worked for 1 DAY!!!…read moreThey will not replace it, we paid full price for a BROKEN TV...They told us to call Toshiba ourselves, Toshiba told us to call a reapair man, the TV HAS NOW BEEN TAKEN TO A REPAIR SHOP TO BE REPAIRED! We now have NO TV.... okay so moral of the story is we get to pay Full Price for A friggin Broken TV, Yes they will repair it but it is still a broken TV! I will never ever set a foot inside a Brick store again! Please beware, they new when they sold us the TV that this was the way a damaged TV would be handled and we were not warned about it!

Had two bad experiences now with this place, first bought an "as-is" fridge, that was explained as…read morehaving a dent a bit near the hinge. Not a big deal worth the discount.Get it home, realize there is a huge dent on the side that in the store had been hidden by another fridge beside it.This was never disclosed.Later on as I am hooking it up I notice rust and corrosion on the copper water piping on the back.I called the store they told me it never left the store,it was not used, the basement must be damp in their store..LOL.after complaining more I got offered a 20.00! refund or I could return it.I did end up returning it even though I needed a fridge IMMEDIATELY.During one of my conversations, the man actually HUNG UP IN MY EAR.I was emailed a response that the team were following the brick policies..of hanging up?Anyways fast forward a few months, the table set I had purchased at the same time as the fridge has started to warp where the veneer is glued together. Then the corners get worn off, which enables the MDF?to be exposed which swells if you apply any moisture at all.One corner swelled and lifted the veneer so bad it came up a good half an inch which was consequently lifted off.I emailed them about this, weeks go by,I go in and she tells me the email was never recieved..(I have a screen shot of when I sent it and to whom.).In the meantime on the side of the table (vertical) a peice of the laquer?is chipped off and a good 2 inch long spot swells up and cracks the rest of the paint/laquer.I resend the pics and email, last week and a different girl calls me back to tell me they would not be replacing or doing anything at all as this was a "cosmetic"issue.Had I "spilled anything on it?A table you cant spill stuff on eh?Not to mention I havent seen liquid defy gravity to sit on a vertical surface. She told me she would get someone else to call me back, which surprise surprise no one did.Gah needless to say I wrote customercare..which if you do not know is pretty much a waste of time because they just reroute it back to whichever store you are complaining about. Also Wrote BBB,even though the brick is not accredited by them.Needless to say my money nor anyone else I know will be going to this store.Horrible horrible deceitful sales.
