Great Oly area - two of these spaces.

Hidden "gym" of Tulsa Downtown... Thanks for an amazing space with great, clean and organized equipment. The two ladies at the front desk were very welcoming (especially appreciated in this crazy post COVID world). Had no issues working out in the smaller space with about 10 others in the facility. Equipment is nicely placed for adequate room to spread out but not cluttered at all. Nice functional fitness and TRX space up front that I almost missed. Thank you YMCA, thank you Tulsa! I'll definitely be back.

The second level workout room completely empty. (I love it when it's empty because I feel more comfortable to explore new machines)

This gym is perfect for anyone trying to get away from prying eyes and the uncomfortable awkwardness that can come with a trip to the gym. I have social anxiety and this gym is perfect. I usually come from 2:30-4:00 and it's DEAD. The upstairs cardio room has never had more than two other people in it. The hot tub is usually empty which is great for me. My only complaint is that there's like two staff members in the whole gym. That might just be because of what time I go. But it's a little eerie. I've never been in the dressing room at the same time as another woman. It's almost concerning but it's perfect because I'm not a big gym people fan. My only other concern is that I have to pay for parking (being that it is downtown.) But that's not something they can really control. Overall it's quiet, clean, and social anxiety friendly.

Cardio upstairs and on the first floor. Lots of tvs and you can listen by plugging headphones into your machine.

"Would still have a dual membership here if the front desk lady wasn't meaner than the wicked witch of the west"

Don't be fooled by this place. It looks nice. But it is in terrible shape. They refuse to maintain…read moreor fix anything until another few weeks or months beyond whenever they HAVE to. The pools are virtually unusable. If you take a tour and they try to give you the line that the therapy pool is around 95 & the regular pool is about 86, DO NOT BELIEVE THEM! The heaters have been broken for MONTHS now. That's right, I said months. The temp today was 76 in the therapy pool & 78 in the main. Even when they were working, the temps would range wildly. They were never the same temp twice. The therapy pool could be 83 one day and over 100 a few days later. They. Just. Don't. Care. They refused to add proper chlorine to the pools for months as well. It took repeated calls to the health dept to get them to FORCE them to get it up to level. "Oh, how bad could it be?" you ask. The proper level is supposed to be 7.2. The therapy pool was .2 to .5. For MONTHS. That is very dangerous & unhealthy. They were cloudy all the time and smelled. The saunas were down for a long time. I was told there was black mold in the ladies locker room one for a very long time, but even at that, they refused to fix it. Or CLOSE IT! Even with black mold. The showers were broken for over a year before they got fixed despite dozens of requests to fix them. It was not a complex plumbing issue, it was REPLACING A SHOWER HEAD!! Get the picture? They care about your money, not you. Then they will not spend any to keep things fixed. They will tell you anything to get you to sign up, but if you ever have a problem, you are all the way out of luck. So if you believe the "C" in "YMCA" stands for "Christian" - nope. WWJD? Care enough about people to keep things fixed.

Great value for the money and lots of locations. Lots of programs and amenities. It's not super…read moreluxurious but you're not getting that without paying dear for it.

Three…read moreyears ago, when I found out they were opening a location in the Owasso area, I was beyond excited. I didn't hesitate for a second--I signed my two girls up immediately. At the time, one was just 3 1/2 years old and the other was 2. From the very first day, I knew we had found something special. Watching my girls take to the water was incredible. They moved with confidence, like little dolphins, and it was clear how patient, loving, and intentional the instructors were with them. Millers doesn't just teach kids how to swim--they gently build confidence, trust, and a lifelong respect for the water. Those early fundamentals have made such a huge difference in their lives. Three years later, my children are still thriving at Millers. My 6 1/2-year-old is now swimming confidently on her own in the big pool, and my 5-year-old is right behind her. As a mom, seeing that growth fills my heart with so much pride. What Millers has given me goes far beyond swim skills for my children--it has given me peace of mind. Any parent knows how overwhelming the responsibility of keeping your children safe can feel, especially around water. Millers helped replace my fear with confidence. They allowed me to trust my children, trust the process, and enjoy watching them grow instead of standing on the sidelines as a nervous wreck. I truly tell every parent I know that if their child doesn't know how to swim, Millers is the place to go. The sense of security and reassurance they provide is priceless. Teaching water safety at a young age is so important, and Millers does it with heart, care, and excellence. We have been part of the Millers family for three years now, and we fully plan to stay until my girls have completely mastered the art of swimming. I am endlessly grateful for everything Millers has given my children--and for the confidence it has given me as a mom.
