They told her it was a different problem and charged her $220 to diagnose it which amounted to a test drive and scanned the computer with no error codes. Same symptoms as before. She is out $2200 and no solution. They should not have charged her again for a problem that was misdiagnosed to begin with. Poor business.

When I put the truck on my lift I was embarrassed that an automotive shop would do the crap work that they did. The welds have so much porosity that they won't last. The bends look like someone picked scrap parts off the ground and assembled them into an exhaust. The pipes are not even mounted properly, they bent the old mounts and spot welded to the pipe. The lift was taken off due to the ruining a set of tires and not being able to be aligned. They took advantage of a kid and should be embarrassed. When he complained they just freaked out and started arguing with him.

It was really refreshing doing business with a shop that conducts business with honesty and integrity. I bought some tires from Rick, and he wrote the quote himself. When I came in to have the tires installed, he wasn't poking around under my hood trying to find something else to sell me. He asked me if I wanted him to inspect my truck, and when I said it wasn't necessary, he just installed the tires and that was that. I was allowed to watch my tires being installed, and while I was there, several other customers came in and Rick attended to them personally. It's not a fancy shop; just a plain no frills low overhead shop that doesn't spend your money with sales men, fancy gimmicks and tricky tactics. It's really "my kind of shop" and I hope Rick never changes as I like his way. I intend to give him much more business in the future.
