This is the first time I have ever used Downtown.dk to buy a super sweet pair of Marshall headphones. I actually used my girlfriends account and the headphones were quite possibly the only thing I have purchased in two years of being in Denmark that are cheaper than the US. Other than maybe the odd courgette on sale at Netto. But I am not here to review downtown.dk, everyone and their mom can review that. I here to specifically review the drop point, which only came into existence a few weeks ago.
It is in a nondescript building downtown by the central station. As I walked in they were putting up a sign that would ultimately display that this was in fact downtown.dk. I was a bit confused at first but my initial hint was the people coming in and out with small boxes. I have to say overall it was a quick, easy, and enjoyable experience. The nice young girl at the counter took my receipt, grabbed my headphones, handed them over and said "tak." It was way less painful than I had expected and now I am sitting here jamming out.
