Metro West chiropractic has been around long time. when I say a long time I mean back in the mid…read more'80s. I started going there as a teenager. I had suffered some injuries related to sports and sitting in school all day was hurt. so I started seeing the doctors at MetroWest chiropractic and I did so for several years until I moved to New Hampshire in 2003... Incidentally, I wasn't able to find any practitioners up there that were as good, maybe I'm jaded :) I'm back in the area and my work situation significantly changed and I go into Boston 4-5 days per week, usually from Lincoln. But once or twice a week; especially if I've done something exceedingly stupid, I go in from the Framingham volunteer stop. This let's me be seen before or after work depending upon how my day goes. The offices are less than 5 minutes away from the Framingham train stop, just on the otherside of city hall. On a quiet day you're talking maybe 3 minutes. . They're right next to Metrowest Medical. or if you're familiar with the area, you might call it Framingham Union hospital. I mean literally the parking lots are right next to one another Anyways Dr Hartigan was one of the practitioners that cared for me I before moving to NH, I just make reference to that because I tell you what in all those years he's only gotten better and better. He's thoughtful. He's caring. his adjustments are not overly aggressive by any stretch of the imagination. But they provide SIGNIFICANT RELIEF.... SIGNIFICANT!! So it's still a breath and fresh air walking out of there. On another note, my mom has actually been going there since early '80s and like me shes seen several practitioners there. She goes once a week now and also sees Dr. Hartiagan. She'd write her own review but she's in her '70s and I'm not really interested in trying to teach her how to write reviews, lol. But she also told me to say that she loves Dr. Hartigan which is obvious because she continues to go and that, he's the best! My uncle's been going for I believe about 20+ years. he also goes about once a week. I see him in the office occasionally he's doing a lot of strenuous activity and he's also old like my mum. Don't tell him I said that though :P He sees Dr. Hartigan and swears by him too. So even though I hate going into Boston now, thanks boss, it's super convenient that MetroWest Chiropractic and Dr Hartigan are right near the Framingham train stop and I can get off the train and head over. I know if I need an unexpected appointment that they can fit me in. and that's really nice because that's the type of service that they've been providing as far back as I can remember. They also do Department of Transportation DOT examinations, for people that need to get their CDL licenses I don't know anything about those but there always seems to be someone there or arriving to get one done. If you're looking for somebody to do your your physical. you should probably give a call. He'll do right by you and he'll put your head on straight

For the convenience of patients, they hold early morning, midday, and late afternoon hours. They accept a variety of payment methods, including insurance. Since early in 2009, I had been searching for someone who could help me deal with the chronic pain in my back and in my knees. I saw several specialists to no avail. I was fortunate to find Union Chiropractic by 2011. Today, I can not imagine going anywhere else. After working with Dr. Nathanson twice per week for 3-4 weeks in 2011, the pain was gone, and I was surprised because I never thought that I would be able to walk without pain again. I have been returning as needed, though we have moved away from the area, because resolving the pain without having to rely upon medication is certainly worth it. Today I am inspired to write because I walked into the office feeling hopeless and in such pain, and 25 minutes later emerged feeling powerful and energetic. I am deeply grateful for the talent of these professionals.

Dr. Nathanson thought shoulder pain was caused by neck issue (had similar problem previously and was treated with cortisone and physical therapy) . She treated with low force Activator and electromuscle stimulation. After two visits sciatic wasn't bothering me (previously in pain all day while sitting at work, sometimes both sides), lower back has occasional twinges, and shoulder is noticably better. She said my spine was looking better, and only issues in neck remained. Dr. Nathanson is energetic and very friendly, and listens. My appointments have always been on time.

I first started coming when I was younger after being a passenger in a car accident and having a decent amount of neck and back pain. I still come in the event of injury (rare but more frequent appointments) and for maintenance (regularly but less frequent appointments). There are many chiropractors out there who just crack your back and neck in a couple places then send you on your way. That is not how things are done here. Both Dr.'s D and H have a much more involved approach to treating pain and maintaining health. I think of it like sports medicine. You have heat placed on your muscles to allow them to relax, then the muscles are deeply massaged to relieve tension/loosen tight spots prior to the chiropractic adjustment. There have been plenty of times I've come in last minute in pain after something like going too hard at the gym or dare I say - just sleeping with the wrong pillow (yikes). I always leave with my pain alleviated and with more mobility than I walked in with. If you're looking for a lighter touch like the previous reviewer, maybe ask for Danielle to treat you. She is very strong but can be more gentle. If you're looking to have a stubborn knot in your muscle to be absolutely decimated, don't be surprised when that's what Hubert does. He's very good at it. Don't be a baby. Other pros - accept most insurance, easy to access location, very accommodating appointment times, and a yoga studio with lots of classes I can't recommend them enough
