They obviously also offer chiropractic services and consultations but that is not what brought me into contact with them. Dr. Abbie (Zubiel) has treated me every time I go in to see her. It is primarily for maintenance for a partially torn glute medius that happened about 2 years ago. I started treatment and physical therapy in North Carolina and re-aggravated it after about 6 months moving to here. I immediately began searching for a treatment spot that mimicked my one in NC and found ARB online. They treat a number of local athletes, teams, and weekend warriors which means they understand what our lifestyle is and what problems it can often lead to. Abbie treated me not only in a completely professional and mature manner, but also took my opinions and preferences into consideration when treating me. It was not the burn-and-churn or "just give it some rest" that so many highly touted sports physicians have given me over the years (including a couple at Duke Sports Medicine). The goal was to incrementally get better and moving which was accomplished over 3 visits. She even gave me the "don't do anything stupid" talk that I frequently got from my practitioner in NC (always given with a wink and a smile). I continue to go for maintenance and always recommend whenever anyone asks me what I do to keep on top of my recovery and prevent injury. One of the best things about ARB is they also work with a number of the local health insurances that are offered in Boston. This means you can get treatment and not have to pay out of pocket for every visit over the co-pay and any miscellaneous charges that may arise which are not covered by insurance (like the $5 dry-needling charge).

Dr. Di Salvo is a treasure…read more I've been seen by a myriad of different chiropractors over my lifetime and she is hands down my most favorite by far. She fixed a variety of issues that I had and was creative in her problem solving. She is down-to-earth and pleasant to be around. Her goal is to help you heal you enough so that you aren't dependent on frequent adjustments. In the less than 3 months that I've been under her care, we've been able to scale back from 2 visits per week to 2 visits per month without any backsliding or issues arising thus far. I can't recommend her enough.

Just came back after a long break after pulling my neck/back. Was incredibly painful and affected my daily routine. Got set up with a plan and within 2-3 visits the pain started to subside. Go in get "adjusted" for two minutes and pay them and go. They suggest you pay them up front. They also use scare tactics. They take X-rays and only from looking at an X-ray they tell you for example that you need to come in for 20 visits. This is outrageous!! Then they want to put you on a maintenance plan before your issue is corrected, which will never happen because they have no intention of correcting your problem. They just want you to keep coming back and get more money. Their maintenance plan is once a week!!!! Please save yourself time and money and go to a real chiropractor where they evaluate you after each visit. Maintenance is every 6 weeks which is normal. If you don't know anything about chiropractor care this place will make your issue ten times worse then when you walked in the door and you will be out at least $500 or more!!!

I've referred all of my family, my children, my friends as well as people I work with. Here's what he's done for me. I had a shoulder problem that did not let me play tennis for 3 years. I went to my PCP, an orthopedist and did 3 rounds of PT with little result. 2 weeks with Dr. C and I was back on the court and got my USTA rating increased in 2 months. With my family, he has been so helpful. My children got sick less. My wife's headaches went away. He's been a godsend. If you have seen everyone else but aren't your best. Go see Dr. Cohen. My wife also saw his acupuncturist and massage therapist and loved them but I haven't seen them myself.

Outrageous. This was hands down the WORST of WORST experiences I have ever had with someone in the health/healing profession. We got no further than the 3rd question and I told him "We're done here." Run away as fast as you can! Dr. Cohen is to be avoided at all costs. He should not even be allowed to practice, as he treats his clients/customers so disrespectfully.

This was my first PT experience and I was told that I was going to have a $40 co-pay per visit, which I figured would be like my PCP where no deductible was at play. Even on the intake form, I initialed that I only had a $40 co-pay per visit. I ended up visiting 5 times and every time they took a $40 co-pay. More than two months later, I unexpectedly get a bill for $400! I called the billing office and they confirmed that I was given incorrect information about my benefits by the office staff, and that my deductible did apply in this case. Had I known that and had knowledge about how much each visit was going to cost me, I likely would have not scheduled additional visits and continued my rehab at home. Even though the billing office confirmed that bad information was given to me, they were unwilling to make it right. They are leaning on their disclaimer form, which makes them harmless for any mistakes made on their end. It's too bad patients don't have that type of protection. I have a pretty standard BCBS plan from what I understand. After the first visit was billed and paid, the practice should have notified me that my benefits were not as they were presented so that I could make an informed decision about future visits. Instead, they continued to only collect a co-pay and not notify me of the applicable deductible. I'm going to pay the bill but I wanted to post today to warn other patients to check your own insurance coverage prior to going to this practice. Additionally, I suggest that you inquire what the service fees and contracted rates are for your insurance coverage so that you can understand what potential patient responsibility you might have in the case that that they make another error in reading your benefits. Despite the good care, I will not be returning to this practice due to their unwillingness to right a mistake. I was willing to split the difference with them and pay $200, but they declined. Very disappointing.
