After many years of escalating leg pain due to sciatica I finally went to see Dr. Chris on the strong recommendation from my massage/physical therapist. I am so glad I did! After only one adjustment, I already felt relief. After two, more relief. After four or five, I am almost entirely pain-free. Dr. Chris is very thorough. He starts with an in-depth exam and multiple X-rays. Then, a consultation is needed to discuss the proposed treatment plan. And then, with your approval, the adjustments start. It's funny, really, that these adjustments only take five minutes or less, yet they can bring so much relief. Where should I start? First, it has been almost two years when I first met Chris and his team through a friend recommendation. As a retired pro-cyclist I had many-many crashes and some of them went untold. So, that being said, I manage a bike shop (n+1 cyclery) in Framingham and requires plenty of lifting for the bike repairs. At one point I wasn't able to lift a kid's bike because my excruciating pain on my lower back. At night, half of my body would go numb to a point that you could of chop my body in pieces while I watch and I would feel a thing. The office is spotless, comfortable, and cheerful, and you may not want to leave after your appointment. And Dr. Chris has, in a few weeks, given me the gift of a pain free life. I went to him with intense neck and lower back pain, after seeing many other chiropractors. I didn't have much hope, as no one else had been able to help me all that much. About 5 months ago my back pain took a hard turn for the worst. As a big guy, I've had minor lower back pain for a while which I attributed to my weight. But rather fast, it turned into much greater pain that affected my everyday life. I went to a local chiropractor and did not have any success. I determined I needed to see my doctor. My doctor was not helpful and suggested physical therapy which made my situation even worse. At my whit's end, I was trying to get in to see a back specialist at a major hospital. I told my friend about my situation and he recommended Dr. Chris and Chiropractic Solutions. One key thing my friend mentioned was that they had an x-ray machine and that was comforting. Everyone else assumed the pain was this or that, without really knowing. So off I went, a bit skeptical but hopeful. I'm happy to say that my pain is almost completely gone. At first I thought Chiropractic Solutions was OK. After my lower back healed (not due to Chiropractic Solutions/inflammation subsided in L4 orL5) I felt the chiropractor visits were no longer needed. So I called to end my treatment and get a refund of the unused portion of my balance. When I talked with the receptionist (the wife of the chiropractor) she replied " give me a few days to figure it out and I'll call you". I thought to myself - being a small family business, why would it take 3 days to look over my account and let me know what's due to me. But I replied "OK". She never called me back. So I called her back. She said that she would get back to me. Didn't hear back. Finally, I got an answer. The amount was less than excepted (6 remaining visits instead of 10/ even the chiropractor told me I had 10 visits remaining). My bad. I didn't document my visits. Fine, I live with that. Then I was told that I would receive a check in 3 days. A number Weeks passed. I called after returning from being out of town. The receptionist said that it was sent out 5 days prior(remember she said the check would be sent weeks ago). A letter that is sent out and received in the same town usually takes a day or two (even during the holidays). She said that she would check in to it(they sent it via the USPS with a tracking number). Didn't hear back. Again, I called back. She said "can I call you back in one second". 45 minutes later!! It wasn't until the morning that she said that the USPS stated that it should be delivered the following morning or be returned. So I demanded that I come in the next day to pick up a new check. Got my check. This is the kicker. I received the 1st check a couple of days later. She said that it was sent out on 11/27/13(check was dated 11/27/13). the envelope was post marked 12/4/13. No tracking number. READ BETWEEN THE LINES. I had a reputable chiropractor but he was located a half hour away. I hope this will help other people in their search for a honest chiropractic business in the Framingham, MA area. read more
