I called Dyer Well Drilling prior to 8 a.m. and they sent two technicians out, Kyle and Mason, who came to the house within hours to ascertain the problem, which was that our system was nearly 30 years old and simply needed to be replaced. They were very helpful. Subsequently, a technician by the name of Harley replaced the well pump, motor controls, and interior pressure tank and control box. He was super competent, courteous, and dedicated, staying well into the evening to get the project done. The system is high-tech and very quiet, and our water pressure has increased significantly. I was remarkably impressed with the responsiveness of the team at Dyer Well Drilling. Had they simply waited one additional day, we would have had to get a hotel room and we would have lost a lot of flowers/plants due to our irrigation system being down. Unfortunately for us, the sludge went through all the plumbing in the house, wrecking our 1 yr old water softer and several faucets had to have replacement parts due to the issue as well. We had to have another well driller come out and fix the issues it caused. Ended up costing thousands of dollars for calls, trying to fix the existing softner, and in the end having to replace an almost new softner. The new well driller said the old metal pipes should have been changed over to plastic while they had the well pulled up. Just felt like the whole expeirece was an expensive fiasco.
