So I read a few reviews and testimonials and thought this will be my first stop to look for tiles for my kitchen backsplash. I got there at 4:30 and they close at 5. When I came in, a female, I didn't get her name, didn't even turn around to greet me, she just kept on doing what she was doing and basically said, take a look around. So, I'm not impressed so far but I told her I exactly what I was looking for and if she could help me. It seemed like a big effort and then asked if I was doing the work. I said no, then she asked, do you have someone to do it. Again I said no. Then she offered the information that they were able to do installs. I knew this already as I had looked at their website. It wasn't friendly at all and she didn't seem interested in why I was there even though I told her exactly what I was looking for. I even told her I read reviews on line and that was why I was there. Her response was, "I don't read those things." Really?! Hmmm I said to her I knew they were closing soon and if she could just help with finding some of the types I was looking for. Finally, she looked around and pulled a couple of ideas. At this point I'm waiting for Ron to call and make an appointment for a quote, but I tell you. If everyone at Down to Earth has the same attitude, I rather spend my money on a company that wants my money. This wasn't the type of service I expected and was quite disappointed. I'll keep you posted on the quote experience and if Ron saves the day and I go with this company read more
