I "inherited " DTE from the previous owners of our home. I decided to continue with their service and I haven't regretted my decision. Zero regard for people's property. And completely unprofessional. Our neighbors hired DTE to install their irigation system. And while I understand that the guys were working in a tighter space, they displayed absolutely no respect or common sense because they used my newly installed lawn as a walkway and a dumping ground for the dug up earth from our neighbor's plot. When we first noticed this, I spoke to (who unbeknownst to me was) the own of the company last week. I asked him to please be mindful of their actions and to please not destroy my grass. I cam home yesterday, and as you can see from the attached pictures; either these guys are stupid or have a willful disregard for what is right. The owner only took slight responsibility for the damage saying "it could have been the rain" and "well, it's near the property line". And offered to "clean it up" because "this isn't how we would have left it". You know what? Maybe this whole thing could have been prevented if the company (from the owner down) displayed not only some common sense but some apathy for other people's things. Thankfully my neighbor's are awesome and offered to pay for the damage. And I'm willing to bet that the DTE team are perfectly happy to let their customer's pay for their mistakes. In my opinion they are unprofessional, and generally scummy people. My advise would be, if you care about your relationship with your neighbors, stay far away from Down To Earth. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Got billed twice for a minor repair job that should have been done right the first time. Called them to report the sprinkler head that was to be capped is leaking bad and was told they are too busy. When I called back to tell them what lousy service they give I had to leave a message. I got a call back the next morning to go find someone else! I heard they are under new management and obviously don't know how to value their customers.
