It's very clean and new looking. They have 2 toddler size picnic tables and a sand box which I thought was a nice touch. Although the sandbox could be owned by the food shack next door. They also have nice patio furniture and high table tops all of which is covered. They have multiple menus posted outside in various areas and also have a menu posted inside. You can also order and receive your food from a window or go inside. I ordered a sundae with soft serve chocolate/vanilla twist ice cream, hot fudge, peanut butter sauce, whipped cream, rainbow sprinkles and peanuts. It was good, but the ice cream was much thicker then I expected or prefer in a sundae. I think it's custard. It started to melt as soon as I received it. Luckily it wasn't too hot out or who knows. It's across from Fishers Auto and has no branding on the outside of the building as of 5/5/18. There are only 2 flag style signs that say ice cream.

I ordered the flavor of the week, espresso caramel custard twist. It was a great combination that I've never seen anywhere before and it was nice and creamy. The large size was $5.25 including tax (sorry, no picture; I was excited to eat it). Though very friendly, the service was a tad slow and my custard had a little hollow section in the middle. I'm guessing they have some new employees that are still learning the ropes. I would visit again... Maybe later in the season. To note, there is an extra fee when using a credit card. They have seating under a roofed patio as well as some tables behind the building in the yard underneath some trees.

When my husband asked for a "medium" hot fudge sundae, our looks of shock made him rethink his order. After he saw the size of my "baby" he changed his order to a small. Wow... The ice cream was good, the number of flavors was mind boggling, and they had some cute old time posters on the wall that made me nostalgic. There is also plentiful outside covered seating. Not very many seats indoors. I don't know why their portions are so massive. Honestly you have to see it to believe it. Next time we are in this area, we will definitely be back!

I checked in. I took pictures. Closed all winter, and very busy with long lines all summer, their custard tastes good - but it won't completely blow you away like LuGia's, Abbott's and such. It's well worth a try, but I wouldn't give it more than a 4. The prices are fantastic though, and some of the concoctions that people were ordering and enjoying were both elaborate and exciting. It's out in the country in a lovely big brown barnhouse, literally. You've never seen an ice cream store like this before. Come and check it out.
